Antihypertensive efficacy of extract of Hedera helix in high salt-induced hypertensive Sprague-Dawley rats

Objective: To explore the antihypertensive effect of extracts from the leaves of Hedera helix(H. helix) on normotensive and hypertensive rats in-vivo followed by vasodilatory studies ***: The crude methanolic extract was prepared and the activity directed fractionation was carried out. Spectrophotometric analysis of total phenolic and flavonoid content was also done. HPLC analysis was performed for the detection of hederacoside C. In-vivo blood pressure study was carried out in normotensive and high salt-induced hypertensive SpragueDawley rats. Isolated aortic tissues from rat and rabbit were used for in-vitro studies. The effects were recorded and analyzed through PowerL ab data acquisition system. Results: Crude extract of H. helix(1-30 mg/kg) decreased blood pressure to greater extent in high salt-induced hypertensive rats in-vivo compared to the normotensive [Max. fall(58.59±0.02) mm Hg vs.(67.53±3.07) mmH g]. The n-hexane, chloroform, ethyl acetate and aqueous fractions were also checked. These fractions were more effective in hypertensive rats. Aqueous fraction was more potent and n-hexane the least. In isolated rat aortic rings precontracted with phenylephrine, crude extract induced endothelium-dependent effect. The endothelium-dependent component of vasodilatory effect was ablated with L-naME, and denudation of endothelium. The aqueous fraction was most potent vasodilator. In aortic rings from hypertensive rats, extract and fractions produced partial endothelium-independent effect which was not affected by pretreatment with L-naME, indicating endothelium dysfunction in the hypertensive rats and suggesting additional vasodilatory mechanisms. In rabbit aorta, the extract and fractions also inhibited phenylephrine and high K^+-induced precontractions, and shifted Ca^(++) concentration–response curves. Conclusions: Our findings indicate that extract and fractions of H. helix are antihypertensive remedies, which is the outcome of vasodilatory effect.

OBJECTIVE: To evaluate in vitro and in vivo antiarthritic potential of Solanum nigrum (S. nigrum). METHODS: Aqueous methanolic (70∶30) extract of S. nigrum was prepared. The in vitro antiarthritic effect was evaluated in terms of its inhibition of protein denaturation and membrane stabilization. While, formaldehyde, complete Freund's adjuvant (CFA) and Collagen induced arthritis rat models were used to study in vivo antiarthritic activities of S. nigrum at dose level of 200, 400 and 800 mg/kg. RESULTS: The extract exhibited inhibition of protein denaturation and protected red blood cell by stabilizing the membranes in a concentration dependent manner, with maximum effect attained at 800 μg/mL. Moreover, there was a marked reduction in paw edema observed in extract treated animals, when compared to arthritic control animals in all in vivo models and 800 mg/kg dose got maximum reduction of paw edema. 一致性问题在多智能体网络的研究中具有重要的理论意义和应用价值。文章采用合适的方法解决了该领域中存在的一致性问题。文章首先明确并提出了在多智能体的通信问题中的两种协调类型。在第一种类型中,通过一个连续的最大化过程可以消除变量并简化智能体的结构。在第二种类型中,协调方式是通过消息传递的形式来进行的。这种协调方式要求相邻智能体之间可以重复发送消息。对于接收端的智能体来说,传递的信息是一个局部的效益函数。当智能体集合到特定点或者接受到外部信号时将终止该过程。在文章中,我们分别提出了这两种协调类型下计算最佳响应函数的算法。此外,针对多智能体的编队问题,本文提出了一种基于级联控制系统理论的车辆编队跟踪控制器。文章还给出了一种新的一致性条件,通过MATLAB,我们对多种车辆编队模式进行了仿真。输入和通信延迟是多智能体系统和一致性中的主要问题。为了解决该问题,本文提出了利用状态预测反馈的方法来设计降低延迟反馈的拓扑结构。通过仿真可以验证当通信链路之间引入了智能体状态缓冲器后,多智能体系统可以更好实现一致性。在多智能体协调控制中,相邻智能体之间存在相关状态信息不相邻的现象。为了解决这个问题,本文提出了基于相邻智能体的状态输出的完全分布式自适应协议:自适应协议I和自适应协议II。自适应协议I是在通信图形中给每个边缘分配随时间变化的耦合权重;自适应协议II是为给每个结点分配不同的时变耦合权重。这两个自适应协议旨在任意的非直接相关的通信图可以通过完全分布式的方式达到一致性,而不需要通信图中的任何全局信息。通过MATLAB仿真,理论结果得以验证。

Intensive fish farming has an excessive prevalence of infection and is typically controlled by the administration of *** amalgamated antibiotics are a relatively novel therapeutic idea and more effective than traditional antibiotic monotherapy,they can also have a toxic effect on the fish body when it is administered *** study investigated the cyto-genotoxic effects on erythrocytes and histo-architectural malformations in the liver and kidneys of stinging catfish(Heteropneustes fossilis)in relation to Enrocip plus use as an amalgamated antibiotic *** experimental fish with an initial average weight of 17.38±1.94 g were divided into four treatment groups with antibiotic doses:according to the recommendation of the manufacturer 0.167 mg/ml Enrocip plus was used as a standard dose(x)and it was treated as T3,while 0%of the standard dose(0×mg/ml),1/2×(0.083 mg/ml),and 2×(0.333 mg/ml)were treated as T1,T2 and T4,respectively for a period of 30 *** observed erythrocyte cellular deformities(ECD)were twin,tear-drop,serrated,tail budded and de-membranated cells,whereas the erythrocyte nuclear deformities(END)were a nuclear bridge,bi-nucleus,nuclear termination,karyopyknosis,and micronucleus at different concentrations of Enrocip *** ECD and END percentages experienced the interaction of antibiotic dose and exposure time,and were significantly different(Pnal tubules and hematopoietic tissue,glomerular occlusion,and vacuolation were evident in the *** current investigation fully emphasizes the adverse effects of amalgamated antibiotics on the cytogenotoxicity and the histomorphology of the kidneys and liver of ***,the use of an amalgamated antibiotic in aquaculture must be carefully evaluated.

Predicting the effectiveness of protected areas of natura 2000 under climate change

Uranium Series Disequilibrium and Precision Measurement of Radionuclides Activity in Sediment Sample Using Low Background Gamma Spectrometry

Low background gamma spectrometry was used to measure the radionuclides activity of 238U, 232Th, and 235U series as well as 40K and 137Cs in a sediment sample. The goal of the study was to measure the 238U (63.3 keV peak of 234Th;1001 keV peak of 234mPa) and 235U (143.76 keV, 163.33 keV, and 205.31 keV peaks) activity by low background gamma spectrometry in sediment sample. 235U activity in environmental samples is difficult to accurately measure by gamma spectrometry due to its low abundance in nature and low gamma line intensities at 143.76 keV, 163.33 keV, and 205.31 keV. We have shown that by using low background gamma spectrometry, it is possible to accurately measure the 235U activity in sediment samples. The 235U activity was measured without using the major peak of 185.7 keV (Iγ = 57.2%) which requires interference correction from 186.21 keV of 226Ra. 226Ra activity was determined by measuring 222Rn daughters (214Pb and 214Bi). The precision and accuracy of the gamma activity measurement in the sediment sample were verified by using the HPGe detectors with Certified Reference Material (CRM) Irish Sea Sediment (IAEA-385). The results obtained for the 63.33 keV energy line of 234Th are compared with the 1001 keV energy line of 234mPa. The values of 238U and 235U activities, as well as 40K, 137Cs, and 226Ra, agreed with the certificate values of CRM. The results show that the 238U is in equilibrium with its daughters (234Th, 234mPa, and 210Pb). 232Th is also in equilibrium with its daughters (228Ra, 212Pb, 212Bi and 208Tl). 235U/238U activity ratio of 0.046 ± 0.007 in the
