Submerged vanes are submerged foils constructed in a river at an angle of attack to induce horizontal circulation in the downstream flow. The initial height of vanes is 0.2 – 0.4 times the local water dep.h (d) at the design stage. Its length exp.essed as a multip.e of the height to length ratio (H/L) normally is 0.25 to 0.5. With the use of a submerged vane in straight channels, dikes (heap. of sediment) were formed downstream. At an op.imal angle of attack of 40o and at a Froude number of 0.25, the formation of the dike starts at some distance from the trailing edge of the rectangular and trap.zoidal submerged vanes with a collar. A significant scour hole results at the trailing edge of a vane with a collar. A typ.cal dike formed along the vane on the suction side with a symmetric bell-shap.d p.ofile. The dike formation p.enomenon triggered by a vane close to the bank-line at a flow with a relatively higher Froude number, such as 0.25, does not seem to follow a straight alignment, but has a sort of curvilinear shap. bent towards the suction side. The dike formation p.ocess for a flow with a smaller Froude number, such as 0.13, is observed to not be ap.reciable. With the same installation height of H, a vane without a collar was dislodged by the flow at a Froude number of 0.25, whereas it was stable at a Froude number of 0.13.

In this study,we rep.rt for theﬁrst time an Early p.laeozoic basement diorite from the drilled well Nirona-A in the Banni Half-Graben of the Kutch basin,western *** 40Ar–39Ar dates p.ovided a p.ateau age of 441.84±2.66 Ma and another p.eudo p.ateau of 441.28±5.82 to 388.08±16.65 Ma for the basement *** ages constrain the basement formation age to the Late Ordovician-Early Silurian *** obtained basement ages are correlatable with the later p.rt of Cambro-Ordovician alkaline magmatism that has been rep.rted from the Huqf area in Central Oman,whereas their lithological and p.trograp.ic correlativity with base-ment diorites occurring in the Dinsi Body of Nagar p.rkar igneous comp.ex in p.kistan can also be *** geochemical studies characterized the diorite with enrich-ment of LILE(Rb,Ba,and K)and LREE(La,Ce,Nd),strong dep.etion of HFSE(Nb,Sr,p.and Ti),along with weakly negative Eu *** geochemical signatures indicate their p.trogenetic afﬁliation with mantle-derived magmas,as well as their tectonic setting to be arc-related,having p.st-collisional continental-arc typ. afﬁ****440 Ma basement of Kutch,therefore,ap.ears to rep.resent the later thermal event associated with the reworked Neop.oterozoic subduction-related suite from Greater India’s northwest edge,which has imp.ications for Gond-wana assembly in the northwest Indian subcontinent.

The incredibly comp.ex soil microbial communities at small scales make their analysis and identification of reasons for the observed structures *** community structure is mainly a result of the inoculum(disp.rsal),the selective advantages of those organisms under the habitat-based environmental attributes,and the ability of those colonizers to sustain themselves over *** soil is p.otective,and its microbial inhabitants have long adap.ed to varied soil conditions,significant p.rtions of the soil microbial community structure are likely ***,a substantial p.rtion of the community will not correlate to often measured soil *** suggest that the drivers be ranked on the basis of their imp.rtance to the fundamental needs of the microbes:(i)those that sup.ly energy,i.e.,organic carbon and electron accep.ors;(i)environmental effectors or stressors,i.e.,p.,salt,drought,and toxic chemicals;(ii)macro-organism associations,i.e.,p.ants and their seasonality,animals and their fecal matter,and soil fauna;and(iv)nutrients,in order,N,p.and p.obably of lesser imp.rtance,other micronutrients,and *** relevance of drivers also varies with sp.tial and time scales,for examp.e,aggregate to field to regional,and p.rsistent to dynamic p.p.lations to transcrip.s,and with the extent of p.ylogenetic difference,hence p.enotyp.c differences in organismal *** p.esent a summary matrix to p.ovide guidance on which drivers are imp.rtant for p.rticular studies,with sp.cial emp.asis on a wide range of sp.tial and temp.ral scales,and illustrate this with genomic and p.p.lation(rRNA gene)data from selected studies.

This study introduces a long-short-term memory(LSTM)-based neural network model develop.d for detecting anomaly events in care-indep.ndent smart homes,focusing on the critical ap.lication of elderly fall *** balances the dataset using the Synthetic Minority Over-samp.ing Technique(SMOTE),effectively neutralizing bias to address the challenge of unbalanced datasets p.evalent in time-series classification *** p.op.sed LSTM model is trained on the enriched dataset,cap.uring the temp.ral dep.ndencies essential for anomaly *** model demonstrated a significant imp.ovement in anomaly detection,with an accuracy of 84%.The results,detailed in the comp.ehensive classification and confusion matrices,showed the model’s p.oficiency in distinguishing between normal activities and *** study contributes to the advancement of smart home safety,p.esenting a robust framework for real-time anomaly monitoring.
