＜正＞ XLas （Extra Large Alpha S） is an alternatively spliced variant of Gas. the G protein alpha subunit that couples various extracellular stimuli to the activation of adenylyl cyclase. XLas is identical with Gas except for its long amino terminus and appears to share its functional properties such as receptor selectivity, bg binding and adenylyl cyclase activation. In this study, coupling properties of Gas and XLas to b2 adrenergic receptor （β2AR） and adenylyl cyclase are investigated in transfected HEK-293 cells. Adenylyl cyclase activity measurements show that, compared to Gas. Xlas exhibits a high basal and agonist-induced activity, both of which are enhanced by the increased expression of β2AR. Thus, spontaneous receptor activity of the β2AR seems to contribute to the basal activities of both Gas and XLas. However, while the basal activity of Gas can be inhibited by inverse agonists that suppress the spontaneous activity of the β2AR, the basal activity of XLas is insensitive to these ligands. This suggests that the conformation induced by these ligands is sensed as an inactive state by Gas but not by XLas. This study is supported partly by the research grants A. ＜正＞ Caveolin - rich membrane rafts, known as caveolae. can be isolated as detergent - resistant low density fractions （DRLDF） using different solubilization and frac-tionation methods. As all the detergents used for solubilization potentially change properties of the proteins, each of these methods can cause artifacts. Here, we compared the localization of. and functional coupling between. b2 - adrenoceptor （b2AR）. Gs and adenylyl cyclase in caveolinrich DRLDF of b2AR overexpress-ing HEK- 293 cells obtained by: 1) Triton X- 100 or 2) Octyl Glycoside solubilization. or 3) extensive homogenization without solubilization. followed by sucrose gradient fractionation. Both the membrane/DRLDF ratios and the functional properties of the proteins were found to vary considerably between the methods used, octyl glycoside solubilization being the superior one as the ligand binding properties of the b2AR and functional coupling between b2AR. Gs and adenylyl cyclase seemed to remain intact in the DRLDF obtained by this method. In any case, functional interactions between the proteins differed from what observed in bulk membrane.

BACKGROUND In cases of coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19),favipiravir is commonly included to the therapy *** interactions between favipiravir and other COVID-19 therapy drugs are frequently ***,no research on possible drug interactions between Favipiravir and radiocontrast agents,which have become almost crucial in diagnostic processes while not being part of the treatment,has been *** To determine potential medication interactions between Favipiravir and radiocontrast *** The study comprised patients who were taking Favipiravir for COVID-19 therapy and underwent a contrast-enhanced computed tomography(CT)or magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)test while taking the *** computerized patient files of the cases included in the study,as well as the pharmacovigilance forms in the designated hospital,were evaluated for this *** The study included the evaluation of data from 1046 *** study sample's mean age was 47.23±9.48 *** mean age of cases with drug interactions was statistically significant greater than that of cases with no drug interactions(P=0.003).When evaluated with logistic regression analysis,a 1-year raises in age increases the risk of developing drug interactions by 1.63 times(P=0.023).There was no statistically significant difference in the occurrence of medication interactions between the sexes(P=0.090).Possible medication interactions were discovered in 42 cases(4%).CONCLUSION The findings of this study revealed that the most notable findings as a result of the combined use of contrast agents and favipiravir were increased creatinine and transaminase values,as well as an increase in the frequency of nausea and *** majority of drug interactions discovered were modest enough that they were not reflected in the *** interactions become more common as people get older.

Digital nerve injuries are the mostly detected nerve injury in the upper extremity. However, since the clinical phenomenon of crossover innervation at some degree from uninjured digital nerve to the in- jured side occurs after digital nerve injuries is sustained, one could argue that this concept might even result in the overestimation of the outcome of the digital nerve repair. With this knowledge in mind, this study aimed to present novel, pure, focused and valuable clinical data by comparing the outcomes of bilateral and unilateral digital nerve repair. A retrospective review of 28 fingers with unilateral or bilateral digital nerve repair using end-to-end technique in 19 patients within 2 years was performed. Weber＇s two-point discrimination, sharp/dull discrimination, warm/cold sensation and Visual Analog Scale scoring were measured at final 12-month follow ups in all patients. There was no significant difference in recovery of sensibility after unilateral and bilateral digital nerve repairs. Though there is crossover innervation microscopically, it is not important in the clinical evaluation period. According to clinical findings from this study, crossover innervations appear to be negligible in the estimation of outcomes of digital neurorrhaphy.
