The present investigation deals with the post bu.k.ing analysis of the moderately thick.angle-ply laminated composite rectangu.ar plates u.der in-plane u.iform temperatu.e indu.ed loading. von k.rman type geometrical nonlinearity and first order shear deformation theory are employed in the formu.ation of the problem. Nonlinear governing differential equ.- tions of equ.libriu. are linearized by qu.dratic extrapolation techniqu. and resu.ting linear differential equ.tions are solved iteratively, u.ing Chebyshev polynomials. The bou.dary con- ditions consisting of clamped. simply su.ported and their combinations are considered. An incremental iterative approach is employed to estimate the critical/bu.k.ing temperatu.es. The effects of b/a, a/h, bou.dary conditions, Iamination scheme, You.g's modu.i ratio and ratio of coefficients of thermal expansion on post bu.k.ing behaviou. are investigated.

We perform a systematic calcu.ation of the equ.tion of state of asymmetric nu.lear matter at finite temperatu.e within the framework.of the Bru.ck.er-Hartree-Fock.approach with a microscopic three-body force. When applying it to the stu.y of hot k.on condensed matter, we find that the thermal effect is more profou.d in comparison with normal matter, in particu.ar arou.d the threshold density. Also, the increase of temperatu.e mak.s the equ.tion of state slightly stiffer throu.h su.pression of k.on condensation.

Optimal power flow problem plays a major role in the operation and planning of power systems. It assists in acqu.ring the optimized solu.ion for the optimal power flow problem. It consists of several objective fu.ctions and constraints. This paper solves the mu.tiobjective optimal power flow problem u.ing a new hybrid techniqu. by combining the particle swarm optimization and ant colony optimization. This hybrid method overcomes the drawback.in local search su.h as stagnation and prematu.e convergence and also enhances the global search with chemical commu.ication signal. The best resu.ts are extracted u.ing fu.zy approach from the hybrid algorithm solu.ion. These methods have been examined with the power flow objectives su.h as cost, loss and voltage stability index by individu.ls and mu.tiobjective fu.ctions. The proposed algorithms applied to IEEE 30 and IEEE 118-bu. test system and the resu.ts are analyzed and validated. The proposed algorithm resu.ts record the best compromised solu.ion with minimu. execu.ion time compared with the particle swarm optimization.

The impact of fou. spacing of cook.ng banana (CB) within the immatu.e ru.ber avenu.s on some soil fertility attribu.es, matu.ity rate of ru.ber trees and dry ru.ber content (DRC) du.ing the initial six years after planting (YAP) were evalu.ted in a hu.id forest area of Sou.h Eastern Nigeria relative to sole ru.ber. The CB spacings within immatu.e ru.ber avenu.s were 6.7 × 3.4 m;4.0 × 2.0 m, 3.0 × 3.0 m and 2.0 × 2.0 m, while the sole ru.ber was at 6.7 × 3.4 m, all laid ou. in randomized complete block.design with five replications. Qu.ntities of soil organic C, extractable P, Ca, Mg and earthworm activities were significantly higher in the intercrops, with the highest valu. coming from the 4 × 2 m CB spaced plots. However a significantly higher valu. of k.stock.was observed in the sole ru.ber plot and declined as the CB spacing narrowed. While the highest proportion (>90%) of matu.ed hevea tree at six YAP was observed in the 2 × 2 m CB spaced plots;the highest DRC of 1.7 t?ha–1?yr–1 was obtained from CB 4 × 2 m treatment. Consequ.ntly, with some of the observed soil fertility attribu.es and DRC recorded, 4 × 2 m CB spacing seems to be a more su.table CB spacings within immatu.e ru.ber avenu.s, especially in view of the levels of k.in the 2 × 2 CB plots.

A stu.y was condu.ted to examine the distribu.ion pattern of fou. rhizomatou. medicinal and aromatic plant species （MAPs） viz., Angelica glau.a, Pleu.ospermu. angelicoides, Rheu. emodi and Arne- bia benthamii in different forest stands in Central Himalaya. Resu.ts show that A. glau.a and P. angelicoides had a higher （50%） frequ.ncy at Chipk.an, Garpak.and Phagati forest, R. emodi had a higher （60%） frequ.ncy at Rishik.0}d, Su.i and Himtoli, and A. benthamii had a higher （70%） frequ.ncy at Su.i and k.ambdhar The densities of A. glau.a （0.6 plants·m -2 ） and P. angelicoides （0.5 plants·m -2 ） were higher at Chipk.an and Garpak.sites than at other micro-sites, while densities of R. emodi （0.8 plants·m -2 ） and A. benthamii （1.0 plants·m -2 ） were higher at Su.i and k.ambdhar sites. A. glau.a had highest total basal covers （TBC）（1.2 cm 2 ·m -2 ） at Chipk.an, P. angelicoides had highest TBC （0.92 cm 2 ·m -2） at Lati k.arak.site, A. benthamii had the highest TBC （6.48 cm 2 ·m -2 ） atk.ambdhar, and R. emodi had highest TBC （4.53 cm 2 ·m -2 ） at Rishik.0}d. For the fou. stu.ied species, A. glau.a showed a contagiou. distribu.ion, P. angelicoides and R. emodi showed the random and A. benthamii showed the regu.ar type of distribu.ion.

In this paper, an EPQ-based inventory policy for an item is presented with stock.dependent demand du.ing two trade credit periods. In addition, there is a provision for 1) an immediate part payment to the wholesaler, 2) borrowing some money from money lending sou.ce for the immediate part payment, 3) here su.plier or wholesaler offers a trade credit period to his retailer and retailer also offers a trade credit period to his cu.tomer. Against the above conjectu.es inventory model has been formu.ated with respect to the retailer’s point of view for minimizing the total inventory cost. The non-linear optimization method-Generalized Redu.ed Gradient (GRG) method is u.ed to find the optimal solu.ions. Lastly Nu.erical examples are set to illu.trate this model. Finally we u.e LINGO software to solve this model.
