Durable poly(binaphthyl-co-p-terphenyl piperidinium)-based anion exchange membranes with dual side chains

Building well-developed ion-conductive highways is highly desirable for anion exchange membranes(AEMs).Grafting side chain is a highly effective approach for constructing a well-defined phaseseparated morphological structure and forming unblocked ion pathways in AEMs for fast ion *** of side chains can further enhance phase separation due to the superhydrophobic nature of fluorine ***,their electronic effect on the alkaline stability of side chains and membranes is rarely ***,fluorine-containing and fluorine-free side chains are introduced into the polyaromatic backbone in proper configuration to investigate the impact of the fluorine terminal group on the stability of the side chains and membrane *** poly(binaphthyl-co-p-terphenyl piperidinium)AEM(QBNp TP)has the highest molecular weight and most dimensional stability due to its favorable backbone arrangement among ortho-and meta-terphenyl based ***,by introducing both a fluorinated piperidinium side chain and a hexane chain into the p-terphenyl-based backbone,the prepared AEM(QBNp TP-QFC)presents an enhanced conductivity(150.6 m S cm^(-1))and a constrained swelling at 80℃.The electronic effect of fluorinated side chains is contemplated by experiments and *** results demonstrate that the presence of strong electro-withdrawing fluorine groups weakens the electronic cloud of adjacent C atoms,increasing OH^(-)attack on the C atom and improving the stability of piperidinium *** QBNp TP-QFC possesses a robust alkaline stability at 80℃(95.3%conductivity retention after testing in 2 M Na OH for 2160 h).An excellent peak power density of 1.44 W cm^(-2)and a remarkable durability at 80℃(4.5%voltage loss after 100 h)can be observed.

In this work,a conventional HfO_(2) gate dielectric layer is replaced with a 3-nm ferroelectric(Fe) HZO layer in the gate stacks of advanced fin field-effect transistors(FinFETs).Fe-induced characteristics,e.g.,negative drain induced barrier lowering(N-DIBL) and negative differential resistance(NDR),are clearly observed for both p-and n-type HZO-based *** characteristics are attributed to the enhanced ferroelectricity of the 3-nm hafnium zirconium oxide(HZO) film,caused by Al doping from the TiAlC capping *** mechanism is verified for capacitors with structures similar to the *** to the enhanced ferroelectricity and N-DIBL phenomenon,the drain current(I_(DS))of the HZO-FinFETs is greater than that of HfO_(2)-FinFETs and obtained at a lower operating ***,circuits based on HZO-FinFET achieve higher performance than those based on HfO_(2)-FinFET at a low voltage drain(V_(DD)),which indicates the application feasibility of the HZO-FinFETs in the ultralow power integrated circuits.

Clinical characteristics of sudden hearing loss during pregnancy

Objective: The objective of this study was to explore the clinical characteristics and management of sudden hearing loss (HL) during pregnancy, thus better guiding the clinical ***: The clinical and follow-up data of 17 patients (17 ears) with sudden HL during pregnancy were analyzed retrospectively (the observe group). Twelve nonpregnant female patients (12 ears) with sudden HL of similar clinical characteristics were selected as the control group. The prognosis of the two groups was compared. All the patients were followed up after delivery, and two of them were readmitted to the hospital 1–2 months after ***: The observe group had better improvement in hearing and a higher response rate compared to the control group. The pure tone hearing and speech recognition rate of patients could still be improved after the readmitted treatment, and the hearing could partially recover spontaneously during follow-up. The laboratory indicators that affect the inflammatory response and coagulation pathway were significantly different between the two ***: The hearing condition of sudden HL during pregnancy is severe, and the prognosis of these patients is better than nonpregnant patients of similar clinical characteristics. Postpartum treatment is still effective, and some patients showed self-healing with time during follow-up. The inflammatory response and coagulation function may affect the hearing of patients through a metabolic pathway.

Solar-driven CO_(2)-to-fuel conversion assisted by another major greenhouse gas CH_(4)is promising to concurrently tackle energy shortage and global warming ***,current techniques still suffer from drawbacks of low efficiency,poor stability,and low ***,a novel nanocomposite composed of interconnected Ni/MgAlOx nanoflakes grown on SiO_(2)particles with excellent spatial confinement of active sites is proposed for direct solar-driven CO_(2)-to-fuel *** ultrahigh light-to-fuel efficiency up to 35.7%,high production rates of H_(2)(136.6 mmol min^(-1)g^(-1))and CO(148.2 mmol min^(-1)g^(-1)),excellent selectivity(H_(2)/CO ratio of 0.92),and good stability are reported *** outstanding performances are attributed to strong metal-support interactions,improved CO_(2)absorption and activation,and decreased apparent activation energy under direct light ***_(x)@SiO_(2)support helps to lower the activation energy of CH^(*) oxidation to CHO^(*) and improve the dissociation of CH_(4)to CH_(3)^(*) as confirmed by DFT ***,the lattice oxygen of MgAlO_(x) participates in the reaction and contributes to the removal of carbon *** work provides promising routes for the conversion of greenhouse gasses into industrially valuable syngas with high efficiency,high selectivity,and benign sustainability.

Segmental nature of the Red River fault revealed by seismic anisotropy and geological structures

As the western boundary of the Sichuan-Yunnan block(SYB),the Red River fault(RRF)is a major fault that controls deep crustal movement and deformation in the southeast margin of the Tibetan Plateau and regulates middle-lower crustal *** data suggest that the RRF is segmented and exhibits distinct variations in seismicity,velocity structure and crustal deformation from north to *** anisotropy reveals a complex pattern of lateral spatial and vertical stratified distributions.(1)From the perspective of crustal stratification,in the upper crust,the fast wave polarization in the north segment of the RRF is complex and possibly influenced by the Sanjiang lateral collision zone and adjacent faults with varying *** fast wave polarization in the middle segment is in the NW-SE direction,indicating a localized area of closed down or locked up with consistent *** in the south segment,it presents a disordered pattern,signifying complex deep tectonics and stress conditions at the wedged intersection *** the middle-lower crust in the north and south segments of the RRF,the azimuthal anisotropy is strong and consistent with the spatial strike of the weak zone characterized by low-velocity and *** suggests a connection between the anisotropy and the material migration.(2)In the whole crustal scale,the fast wave directions in two sides of the RRF are consistent with the NW-SE tectonic *** indicates that the RRF,as a large fault potentially cutting through the whole crust,strongly controls the surrounding media.(3)In the lithospheric scale,the fast wave polarizations are oriented nearly E-W and independent of the fault strike,consistent with the low P-and S-wave velocity structures and positive radial anisotropy in the upper *** fast wave directions could be related to lithospheric olivine deformation and asthenospheric *** paper suggests a decoupling of deformation between the crust and the lithospheri

该研究旨在用黄原胶(xanthan gum,XG)和β-乳球蛋白纤维(β-lactoglobulin fiber,Fblg)制备多糖-蛋白纤维复合水凝胶作为生物活性物质姜黄素(curcumin,Cur)的递送载体。电位、浊度和原子力显微镜证实了XG与Fblg分子之间发生了络合作用,静电相互作用是XG和Fblg络合的主要驱动力。通过用葡萄糖酸内酯(glucono delta-lactone,GDL)调控复合体系pH至4.0,成功得到稳定的XG-Fblg凝胶。扫描电子显微镜显示,XG-Fblg凝胶形成三维网孔结构并随Fblg的增加而变得更致密。流变和质构测试显示,XG-Fblg凝胶的机械强度随Fblg的含量增加而增强。采用体外胃肠道释放实验研究Cur的释放行为,XG-Fblg凝胶比XG凝胶和Fblg更适合作为Cur肠道递送的载体,在肠道的Cur释放量最多,Cur的释放主要通过凝胶降解控制。该研究结果可为多糖-蛋白纤维复合凝胶的制备以及合理设计水凝胶作为营养物质递送载体提供新的思路。

Acoustic emission(AE)source localization is a fundamental element of rock fracture damage *** improve the efficiency and accuracy of AE source localization,this paper proposes a joint method comprising a three-dimensional(3D)AE source localization simplex method and grid search *** the concept of the geometry of simplexes,tetrahedral iterations were first conducted to narrow down the suspected source *** is followed by a process of meshing the region and node searching to scan for optimal solutions,until the source location is *** resulting algorithm was tested using the artificial excitation source localization and uniaxial compression tests,after which the localization results were compared with the simplex and exhaustive *** results revealed that the localization obtained using the proposed method is more stable and can be effectively avoided compared with the simplex localization ***,compared with the global scanning method,the proposed method is more efficient,with an average time of 10%–20%of the global scanning localization ***,the proposed algorithm is of great significance for laboratory research focused on locating rupture damages sustained by large-sized rock masses or test blocks.

Effect of mesopore spatial distribution of HZSM-5 catalyst on zinc state and product distribution in 1-hexene aromatization

1-hexene aromatization is a promising technology to convert excess olefin in fluid catalytic cracking(FCC)gasoline to high-value benzene(B),toluene(T),and ***,the increasing market demand of xylene has put forward higher requirements for new generation of *** increasing xylene yield in 1-hexene aromatization,the effect of mesopore structure and spatial distribution on product distribution and Zn loading was *** with different mesopore spatial distribution were prepared by post-treatment of parent HZSM-5 zeolite,including NaOH treatment,tetra-propylammonium hydroxide(TPAOH)treatment,and *** was found the evenly distributed mesopore mainly prolongs the catalyst lifetime by enhancing diffusion properties but reduces the aromatics selectivity,as a result of damage of micropores close to the catalyst *** the selectivity of high-value xylene can be highly promoted when the mesopore is mainly distributed interior the ***,the state of loaded Zn was also affected by mesopores spatial *** the optimized catalyst,the xylene selectivity was enhanced by 12.4%compared with conventional Zn-loaded parent HZSM-5 catalyst at conversion over 99%.It was attributed to the synergy effect of mesopores spatial distribution and optimized acid *** work reveals the role of mesopores in different spatial positions of 1-hexene aromatization catalysts in the reaction process and the influence on metal distribution,as well as their synergistic effect two on the improvement of xylene selectivity,which can improve our understanding of catalyst pore structure and be helpful for the rational design of high-efficient catalyst.
