Chronic infection with viral hepatitis affects half a billion individuals worldwide and can lead to cirrhosis,cancer,and liver *** cancer is the third leading cause of cancer-associated mortality,of which hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)represents 90%of all primary liver *** tumors like HCC are complex and have heterogeneous tumor genomic profiles contributing to complexity in diagnosis and *** infection with hepatitis B virus(HBV),hepatitis delta virus(HDV),and hepatitis C virus(HCV)are the greatest etiological risk factors for *** to the significant role of chronic viral infection in HCC development,it is important to investigate direct(viral associated)and indirect(immune-associated)mechanisms involved in the pathogenesis of *** mechanisms used by HBV,HCV,and HDV that drive hepatocarcinogenesis include persistent liver inflammation with an impaired antiviral immune response,immune and viral protein-mediated oxidative stress,and deregulation of cellular signaling pathways by viral *** integration to promote genome instability is a feature of HBV infection,and metabolic reprogramming leading to steatosis is driven by HCV *** current review aims to provide a brief overview of HBV,HCV and HDV molecular biology,and highlight specific viral-associated oncogenic mechanisms and common molecular pathways deregulated in HCC,and current as well as emerging treatments for HCC.

Numerical Analysis of Unsteady Natural Convection Flow and Heat Transfer in the Existence of Lorentz Force in Suddenly Expanded Cavity Using OpenFOAM

The present study reveals the significance of the magnetic field or Lorentz force on the unsteady natural convection flow and heat transfer in the suddenly expanded *** Lorentz force based magnetohydrodynamics(MHD)solver using electric potential formulation coupled with the energy equation by the means of Boussinesq approximation is developed in the open-source CFD tool *** unsteady flow is generated by the buoyancy force keeping the rayleigh number(ra)at 109,at the fixed Prandtl number(Pr)of *** effects of the magnetic field on the flow and heat transfer are explained for various orientations of magnetic field(Bx,B45,and By)in terms of Hartmann number(Ha=0,50,100,300 and 500).The increase in the magnetic field increases the strength of the Lorentz force,which regulates the flow pattern and suppresses down the unsteady nature of flow and heat transfer into the *** is perceived that the average Nusselt number decreases as the intensity of Bx and B45 magnetic field ***,for By magnetic field the average Nusselt number increases up to Ha of 100 as compared to the non-MHD case(Ha=0).The distribution of Lorentz force in the domain plays a significant role in the governing of the fluid flow and heat transfer.

A comprehensive transcriptome assembly for pigeonpea has been developed by analyzing 128.9 million short Illumina GA IIx single end reads, 2.19 million single end FLX/454 reads, and 18 353 Sanger expressed sequenced tags from more than 16 genotypes. The resultant transcriptome assembly, referred to as CcTA v2, comprised 21 434 transcript as- sembly contigs （TACs） with an N50 of 1510 bp, the largest one being -8 kb. Of the 21 434 TACs, 16 622 （77.5%） could be mapped on to the soybean genome build 1.0.9 under fairly stringent alignment parameters. Based on knowledge of intron junctions, 10 009 primer pairs were designed from 5033 TACs for amplifying intron spanning regions （ISrs）. By using in silico mapping of BAC-end-derived SSr loci of pigeonpea on the soybean genome as a reference, putative mapping posi- tions at the chromosome level were predicted for 6284 ISr markers, covering all 11 pigeonpea chromosomes. A subset of 128 ISr markers were analyzed on a set of eight genotypes. While 116 markers were validated, 70 markers showed one to three alleles, with an average of 0.16 polymorphism information content （PIC） value. In summary, the CcTA v2 transcript assembly and ISr markers will serve as a useful resource to accelerate genetic research and breeding applications in pigeonpea.

The high effectiveness of the third dose of BNT162b2 in healthy adolescents against Omicron BA.1 has been reported in some studies,but immune responses conferring this protection are not yet *** this analysis,our study(NCT04800133)aims to evaluate the humoral and cellular responses against wild-type and Omicron(BA.1,BA.2 and/or BA.5)SArS-CoV-2 before and after a third dose of BNT162b2 in healthy *** 5 months after 2 doses,S IgG,S IgG Fc receptor-binding,and neutralising antibody responses waned significantly,yet neutralising antibodies remained detectable in all tested adolescents and S IgG avidity increased from 1 month after 2 *** antibody responses and S-specific IFN-γ^(+)and IL-2^(+)CD8^(+)T cell responses were significantly boosted in healthy adolescents after a homologous third dose of *** to adults,humoral responses for the third dose were non-inferior or superior in *** S-specific IFN-γ^(+)and IL-2^(+)CD4^(+)and CD8^(+)T cell responses in adolescents and adults were comparable or ***,after 3 doses,adolescents had preserved S IgG,S IgG avidity,S IgG FcγrIIIa-binding,against Omicron BA.2,as well as preserved cellular responses against BA.1 S and moderate neutralisation levels against BA.1,BA.2 and *** from 100 and 96%of adolescents tested at 1 and 5 months after two doses could also neutralise *** study found high antibody and T cell responses,including potent cross-variant reactivity,after three doses of BNT162b2 vaccine in adolescents in its current formulation,suggesting that current vaccines can be protective against symptomatic Omicron disease.
