In this study,the spatiotemporal variability of trends in extreme precipitation events in ho Chi Minh City during the period 1980–2017 was analyzed based on several core extreme precipitation indices(Rx1 day,Rx5 day,CDD,CWD,R20 mm,R25 mm,R95 p,and SDII).The nonparametric Mann–Kendall and Sen’s slope methods were used to compute the statistical strength,stability,and magnitude of trends in annual rainfall,as well as the extreme precipitation *** found that 64%of the stations had statistically significant upward trends in yearly rainfall,with high magnitudes frequently observed in the northern and southern regions of the *** the extreme precipitation indices,only SDII and R25 mm showed dominantly significant ***,there were increasing trends in the frequency and duration at the southern and central regions of the city during the study ***,El Ni?o-Southern Oscillation and Pacific Decadal Oscillation positively correlated with the duration and negatively correlated with the intensity and frequency of extreme ***,water management plans should be adjusted appropriately to reduce the severe impacts of precipitation extremes on communities and ecosystems.

Background:The aim of this study was to assess the health literacy of adult Vietnamese population in relation to common eye conditions and identify factors associated with respondents never having had an eye ***:Four hundred households from two districts of Ba Ria-Vung Tau(BRVT) province were selected by multistage cluster random *** adult from each household was administered a pre-tested knowledge,attitude and practices toward eye health ***-square test and logistic regression were used for statistical ***:Of the 400 subjects interviewed(mean age:51.5±14.5 years;range,30-90 years),53.5%reported never having had an eye examination and 38.0%had *** of eye conditions ranged from7.0%for glaucoma to 52.8%for red *** awareness of these conditions was significantly associated with rural habitation(odds ratio ranged from 1.65 to 2.78),lower educational attainment(odds ratio ranged from 1.78 to 2.59) and non-spectacle wear(odds ratio ranged from 1.88 to 4.55).Significant barriers to eye examination included lower educational attainment,reported absence of eye problems,non-spectacle wear,lack of affordability,and lack of health ***:Knowledge of and attitude or practices to eye health is low within the general public in Vietnam,especially among those who have never had an eye examination,are less educated and live in rural *** health promotion activities are warranted for the population and specific factors that influence eye examination visits should be addressed.

Prediction of BRIC Stock Price Using ARIMA,SutteARIMA,and holt-Winters

The novel coronavirus has played a disastrous role in many countries *** outbreak became a major epidemic,engulfing the entire world in lockdown and it is now speculated that its economic impact might be worse than economic deceleration and *** paper identifies two different models to capture the trend of closing stock prices in Brazil(BVSP),Russia(***),India(BSESN),and China(SSE),i.e.,(BRIC)*** predict the stock prices for three daily time periods,so appropriate preparations can be undertaken to solve these ***,we compared the ARIMA,SutteARIMA and holt-Winters(H-W)methods to determine the most effective model for predicting *** stock closing price of BRIC country data was obtained from Yahoo *** data dates from 01 November 2019 to 11 December 2020,then divided into two categories-training data and test *** data covers 01 November 2019 to 02 December *** days(03December 2020 to 11December 2020)of datawas tested to determine the accuracy of the models using training data as a *** measure the accuracy of the models,we obtained the means absolute percentage error(MAPE)and mean square error(MSE).Prediction model holt-Winters was found to be the most suitable for forecasting the Brazil stock price(BVSP)while MAPE(0.50)and MSE(579272.65)with holt-Winters(smaller than ARIMA and SutteARIMA),model SutteARIMA was found most appropriate to predict the stock prices of Russia(***),India(BSESN),and China(SSE)when compared to ARIMA and *** andMSE with SutteARIMA:Russia(MAPE:0.7;MSE:940.20),India(MAPE:0.90;MSE:207271.16),and China(MAPE:0.72;MSE:786.28).Finally,holt-Winters predicted the daily forecast values for the Brazil stock price(BVSP)(12 December to 14 December 2020 i.e.,115757.6,116150.9 and 116544.1),while SutteARIMA predicted the daily forecast values of Russia stock prices(***)(12 December to 14 December 2020 i.e.,3238.06,3241.54 and 3245.01),India stock price(BSESN)(

We prepare CdS/CdSe/ZnS thin films by successive ionic layer adsorption and reaction method. Results show a wider photoresponse range of TiO2 mesopores from the ultraviolet region to the visible light region. Sequentially assembled CdS/CdSe/ZnS quantum and photocurrent efficiency. A high efficiency of dots exhibit significantly improved light-harvesting ability 1.059354% is obtained.

We in this paper exploit time series algorithm based deep learning in forecasting damage mechanics *** methodologies that are able to work accurately for less computational and resolving attempts are a significant demand *** on learning an amount of information from given data,the long short-term memory(LSTM)method and multi-layer neural networks(MNN)method are applied to predict *** examples are implemented for predicting fracture growth rates of L-shape concrete specimen under load ratio,single-edge-notched beam forced by 4-point shear and hydraulic fracturing in permeable porous media problems such as storage-toughness fracture regime and fracture-height growth in Marcellus *** predicted results by deep learning algorithms are well-agreed with experimental data.

In this study,mechanical characteristics of tensile strength ratio(TSR)were evaluated by comparing it to other methods in evaluating moisture sensitivity of asphalt *** types of asphalt mixtures with and without anti-stripping additives were prepared and tested in the *** compressive strength(UCS)and indirect tensile(IDT)testing were conducted to determine the mixture’s tensile strength ratio and cohesion ratio(CR).Determining TSR alone was found to be insufficient when evaluating moisture *** is a need to consider both TSR and wet IDT strength to properly evaluate moisture behavior of asphalt ***,it was found that the cohesion and the IDT strength have a good relation in which the minimum condition of the slope,must be ***,it was observed thatβvalues change depending on material type and ***,there is a need to evaluate theseβvalues for varying material and testing *** addition,it was found that the TSR and CR results are highly correlated with an average difference of 1.5%.Furthermore,other tests such as Marshall stability and dynamic immersion were also *** was found that Marshall stability ratio(MSR)and Marshall stability to flow ratio(MSFR)values are less sensitive to moisture effect when measuring moisture resistance compared to TSR ***,the 48 h testing result of the dynamic immersion test showed better correlation with TSR values.

Religion is one of the social entities that has had a significant impact on the *** study’s goals are to investigate the relationship between well-being and fear of COVID-19,as well as to test whether religious beliefs mediate the effect of wellbeing on fear of *** sample comprised of 433 participants in *** Sample t-Test,One-way ANOVA,mediation analysis were used to analyze the *** the levels of well-being,individuals who engage in religious services daily have higher levels than those hardly and never attend,and people from the age of 18 to 30 have higher levels than individuals from 31 to above 60 *** addition,people aged from 51 to above 60 have higher levels of religious beliefs than people aged from 18 to *** experience more fear of COVID-19 compared to *** latter illustrates that religious beliefs mediate the effect of well-being on fear of *** workers and clinicians must prioritize older adults and people with chronic diseases for early mental interventions,and they should be aware of the role of religion in psychological treatment integration.

The dual role of reactive oxygen and nitrogen species(RONS)in physiological and pathological processes in biological systems has been widely *** has been recently suggested that the regulation of RONS levels under physiological and pathological conditions is a potential therapy to promote health and treat diseases,*** hydrogels have been emerging as promising biomaterials for RONS-related biomedical applications owing to their excellent biocompatibility,three-dimensional and extracellular matrix-mimicking structures,tunable properties and easy *** hydrogels have been developed as advanced injectable platforms for locally generating or scavenging RONS,depending on the specific conditions of the target *** this review article,the design principles and mechanism by which RONS are generated/scavenged from hydrogels are outlined alongside a discussion of their in vitro and in vivo ***,we highlight the advantages and recent developments of these injectable RONS-controlling hydrogels for regenerativemedicines and tissue engineering applications.
