迄今,尼泊尔及其南侧邻区元古宙以来的构造-沉积演化尚缺乏系统性研究.为了促进区域地质认识,结合前人研究成果及新的研究发现,对尼泊尔低喜马拉雅带及以南的构造-沉积演化首次进行系统性总结与讨论.结果表明:尼泊尔低喜马拉雅带及以南与印度地盾北缘在地质历史中的构造-沉积演化息息相关,且自元古宙以来,发育了被动大陆边缘→陆内裂谷→被动大陆边缘→前陆盆地等不同构造演化阶段的沉积响应;尼泊尔西部的Dailekh群属于~1.8 Ga以前或前哥伦比亚超大陆之前的被动大陆边缘沉积;Vindhyan超群为下断上坳的陆内裂谷沉积,尼泊尔境内的Lakharpata群相当于下Vindhyan群;Gondwana超大陆裂解导致由北往南形成一系列初始发育时间越来越晚的裂谷盆地;Surkhet群至Siwalik群为被动大陆边缘至前陆盆地沉积,其中,Surkhet群Swat/Subathu组是喜马拉雅南侧地质历史上最后一套海相沉积地层,也是被动大陆边缘向前陆盆地转换期的沉积响应;Siwalik群大规模的磨拉石建造标志着喜马拉雅快速和大幅度隆升,该群沉积成岩后,印度-欧亚板块进一步的挤压作用导致了地质历史上迄今为止最后一次强烈的构造运动,形成MFT与Siwalik褶皱带,并奠定了喜马拉雅带现今构造格局.

采用印度沿海锆石粉与硅线石海滩砂反应烧结,制备含20%(质量分数)氧化锆的莫来石-氧化锆复合材料。添加4%~12%(摩尔分数)的氧化钙作为添加剂。研究了添加剂对压实性能、显微组织、力学性能和热力性能的影响。添加氧化钙可以使压实温度从1600°C降低至1550°C。氧化钙可以形成少量的液相(铝硅酸钙),有利于烧结进行。添加4%氧化钙可使复合材料的晶粒尺寸减小,当添加量大于4%时,材料的晶粒尺寸随氧化钙添加量的增加而增大。添加4%氧化钙样品的弯曲强度约为225MPa,断裂韧度约为6MPa·m^(1/2),且抗热冲击性能得到明显提高。氧化钙可以稳定四方氧化锆,从而提高材料的力学性能。

Objective:To investigate antimicrobial and bronchodialator effect of hydroalcholic extract of polyherbal drug Shirishadi containing Shirisha(Albezzia lebbeck),Nagarmotha(Cyprus ratandus) & Kantakari(Solanum xanthocarpum).Methods:Antimicrobial activity was evaluated by discdiffusion method and MIC,MBC,MFC were calculated by micro dilution *** extract of this preparation was investigated for its phytochemical analysis,phenol and Oavonoid were determined by speclrophotometric method and in vivo bronchodilator effect was analysed by convulsion ***:The phytochemical tests revealed presence of alkaloids, anthraquinones,carbohydrates,flavonoids,saponins and *** antimicrobial result showed the MIC of 6.25 mg/*** Staphylococcus aureus and 12.5 mg/*** Escherichia coli and 12.5 mg/mL against remaining bacteria tested,with strong antifungal *** maximum inhibition zone is found against Pseudomonas aeruginosa with MIC 16 mg/mL Drug showed significant bronchodilator effect with 27.86%& 36.13%increase in preconvulsion time of guinea pigs prebeated with 100 & 200 mg/kg body weight of ***:The study reveals that the extracts possess antibacterial activity and antifungal activity in a dose dependent manner. This antimicrobial property may be due to presence of several saponins,further studies are highly needed for the drug development.

CSF tau and amyloid β<sub>42</sub>levels in Alzheimer’s disease—A meta-analysis

Alzheimer’s disease International (ADI) estimates that there are currently 30 million people with dementia in the world. The main objective was to perform meta-analysis of studies of CSF tau and Amyloid β42 (Aβ42) levels in Alzheimer’s disease (AD) patients and controls. In the present study MEDLINE was reviewed from 1995 to 2009, supplemented by citation analysis from retrieved articles to select case control studies. Descriptive statistics showed that median effect size (raw mean difference) of CSF tau and Aβ42 levels were 301 pg/ml (Range: 22 to 614 pg/ml) and –352 pg/ml (Range: –969 to 203 pg/ml) respectively. The pooled effect size CSF tau and Aβ42 was 289.14 pg/ml (95% CI 253.278 to 325.013 pg/ml) and –329.02 pg/ml (95% CI –387.740 to –270.445 pg/ml) respectively. Heterogeneity in effect size of selected studies was present for both parameters (CSF tau: Q statistics = 1816.596, DF = 40, P = 0.000 and CSF Aβ42: Q-statistics = 1259.358, DF = 24, p 42 levels in AD and controls may be considered as potential biomarker along with the clinical phenotype to perform them during high quality diagnostic testing in dementia.

尼泊尔低喜马拉雅推覆带油气苗来源不清极大地影响了该区油气勘探。在地质-地球物理综合调查的基础上,利用油气地球化学、碳同位素及生烃史模拟对尼泊尔代莱克地区油源和成藏过程进行了研究。结果表明:(1)尼泊尔代莱克地区油苗产于Padukasthan断裂,可分两期,第一期呈含油断层泥产出,氯仿沥青"A"为149~231μg/g,R_(o)为0.81%,氯仿沥青"A"的δ^(13)C相对较重(-26.24‰~-27.10‰),族组分具有正碳同位素序列,发黄绿色荧光,为典型的低熟煤成油,第二期呈液态油产出并遭受微生物降解,金刚烷I_(MD)指数为0.33~0.45,R_(o)为1.24%~1.53%,3,4-DMD含量46%~47%,全油δ^(13)C为-29.50‰~-29.45‰,族组分碳同位素趋于一致,发蓝色荧光,为海相成因高熟油;(2)第一期油来源于Surkhet群的Melpani组和Gondwana群煤系烃源岩,为Ⅲ型有机质低熟阶段的产物,第二期来源于Surkhet群的Swat组浅海陆棚相黑色页岩,为Ⅱ;型有机质生油高峰的产物,两期油与Lakharpata群过成熟黑色泥岩和Siwalik群未熟泥岩没有亲缘关系;(3)尼泊尔低喜马拉雅推覆带具有"多源多期、推覆增熟、砂体控储、披覆控聚"的油气成藏模式,油气成藏过程可划分为沉积浅埋、构造圈闭形成、深埋油藏形成、气藏形成和晚期改造定型5个演化阶段;(4)尼泊尔低喜马拉雅推覆有利于Gondwana群、Surkhet群深埋增温、持续快速生烃和晚期成藏,对比邻区巴基斯坦的含油气盆地,尼泊尔低喜马拉雅推覆带及相邻类似地区具备良好的油气成藏条件。
