Naringenin suppresses NLRP3 inflammasome activation via the mRNA-208a signaling pathway in isoproterenol-induced myocardial infarction

Objective:To investigate the cardioprotective effect of naringenin against isoproterenol(ISO)-induced cardiotoxicity in ***:Rats were divided into five groups:the normal group,the ISO group(85 mg/kg b.w.);the ISO+naringenin(50 mg/kg b.w.)group,the ISO+naringenin(100 mg/kg b.w.)group and the ISO+propranolol(10 mg/kg b.w.)*** creatine kinase-MB(CK-MB),cardiac troponin T,lactate dehydrogenase,brain natriuretic peptide(BNP),and IL-10,as well as cardiac transforming growth factor-β1(TGF-β1),vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)and malondialdehyde(MDA)were *** addition,NLRP3 and mRNA-208a expressions were evaluated by RT-PCR *** examination was also performed to assess cardiac ***:Naringenin treatment significantly decreased plasma lactate dehydrogenase,CK-MB,cardiac troponin T,BNP,and IL-10,as well as cardiac TGF-β1,VEGF,and MDA while increasing p-Akt and superoxide dismutase in ISO-administered *** also reduced NLRP3 and mRNA-208a gene expression ***,naringenin improved ISO-induced cardiac ***:Naringenin attenuates myocardial dysfunction in ISO-treated rats by decreasing oxidative stress and increasing cardiac endogenous antioxidant system,which may be modulated partly by improvement of NLRP3 and mRNA-208a gene expression.

The proliferation of textual data in society currently is overwhelming, in particular, unstructured textual data is being constantly generated via call centre logs, emails, documents on the web, blogs, tweets, customer comments, customer reviews, *** the amount of textual data is increasing rapidly, users ability to summarise, understand, and make sense of such data for making better business/living decisions remains challenging. This paper studies how to analyse textual data, based on layered software patterns, for extracting insightful user intelligence from a large collection of documents and for using such information to improve user operations and performance.

Analytical Approach to Exact Solutions for the Wick-Type Stochastic Space-Time Fractional KdV Equation

This study is devoted to giving an analytical approach to exact solutions for the Wick-type stochastic spacetime fractional KdV equation. By means of Hermite transform, white noise theory, and the fractional Riccati equation method, we derive white noise functional solutions for the Wick-type stochastic space-time fractional KdV equations. Exact traveling wave solutions for the variable coefficients space-time fractional KdV equations are given by using the fractional Riccati equation method. The obtained results include soliton-like, periodic, and rational solutions.

Recently, renewable energy sources such as wind power and photovoltaic （PV） are receiving a wide acceptance because they are inexhaustible and nonpollut- ing. Renewable energy sources are intermittent ones because of climate changes in wind speed and solar irradiance. Due to the continuous demand growth and the necessity for efficient and reliable electricity supply, there is a real need to increase the penetration of gas technologies in power grids. The Canadian government and stakeholders are looking for ways to increase the reliability and sustainability of power grid, and gas-power technologies may provide a solution. This paper explores the integration of gas and renewable generation technol- ogies to provide a qualified, reliable, and environmentally friendly power system while satisfying regional electricity demands and reducing generation cost. Scenarios are evaluated using four key performance indicators （KPIs）, economic, power quality, reliability, and environmental friendliness. Various scenarios outcomes are compared based on the defined performance indices. The proposed scenario analysis tool has three components, the geo- graphic information system （GIS） for recording transmis- sion and distribution lines and generation sites, the energy semantic network （ESN） knowledgebase to store informa- tion, and an algorithm created in Matlab/Simulink for evaluating scenarios. To interact with the scenario analysis tool, a graphical user interface （GUI） is used where users can define the desired geographic area, desired generation percentage via gas technology, and system parameters. To evaluate the effectiveness of the proposed method, the regional zone of the province of Ontario and Toronto are used as case studies.

Experimental and parametrical investigation of pre-stressed ultrahigh-performance fiberreinforced concrete railway sleepers

In this study,ultrahigh-performance fiber-reinforced concrete(UHPFRC)used in a type B70 concrete sleeper is investigated experimentally and *** main parameters investigated are the steel fiber volume fractions(0%,0.5%,1%,and 1.5%).Under European standards,35 UHPFRC sleepers are subjected to static bending tests at the center and rail seat sections,and the screw on the fastening system is pulled *** first cracking load,failure load,failure mode,crack propagation,load–deflection curve,load–crack width,and failure load from these tests are measured and compared with those of a control sleeper manufactured using normal concrete *** accuracy of the parametric study is verified ***,the results of the study are applied to UHPFRC sleepers with different concrete volumes to investigate the effects of the properties of UHPFRC on their *** and parametric study results show that the behavior of UHPFRC sleepers improves significantly when the amount of steel fiber in the mix is *** manufactured using UHPFRC with a steel fiber volume fraction of 1%and a concrete volume less than 25%that of standard sleeper B70 can be used under the same loads and requirements,which contributes positively to the cost and surrounding environment.

Effective Control of Smart Hybrid Power Systems:Cooperation of Robust LFC and Virtual Inertia Control Systems

A modern power system is expected to consist primarily of renewables,which either lack or have less rotating masses(i.e.,source of inertia)compared to the traditional generation ***,the growth of renewables generation,based on power electronics,can substantially decrease the inertia levels of renewable power grids,which can create several frequency stability issues,resulting in power system *** address this issue,this paper presents a recent virtual inertia scheme predicated on electric vehicles(EVs)to mimic the necessary inertia power in low-inertia smart hybrid power systems(SHPSs),thus regulating the system frequency and avoiding system ***,to guarantee robust performance and more stability for SHPSs against multiple perturbations,system uncertainties,and physical constraints,this paper also proposes a robust control strategy relying on a coefficient diagram method(CDM)for the load frequency control(LFC)of SHPSs considering high renewables penetration and *** efficacy of the proposed system(i.e.,robust LFC with the proposed VIC strategy)is validated by comparison with a conventional LFC with/without the proposed VIC *** addition,the simulation outcomes show that the proposed system can considerably support smart low-inertia hybrid power systems for many different contingencies.

Abundant solutions of Wick-type stochastic fractional 2D KdV equations

A modified fractional sub-equation method is applied to Wick-type stochastic fractional two-dimensional （2D） KdV equations. With the help of a Hermit transform, we obtain a new set of exact stochastic solutions to Wick-type stochastic fractional 2D KdV equations in the white noise space. These solutions include exponential decay wave solutions, soliton wave solutions, and periodic wave solutions. Two examples are explicitly given to illustrate our approach.

We deal with the Wick-type stochastic fractional Korteweg de–Vries(KdV) equation with conformable *** the aid of the Exp-function method, white noise theory, and Hermite transform, we produce a novel set of exact soliton and periodic wave solutions to the fractional KdV equation with conformable derivatives. With the help of inverse Hermite transform, we get stochastic soliton and periodic wave solutions of the Wick-type stochastic fractional KdV equation with conformable derivatives. Eventually, by an application example, we show how the stochastic solutions can be given as Brownian motion functional solutions.

High-grade pancreatic intraepithelial neoplasia is a challenging diagnosis and itdoes not exhibit mass lesions. It is suspected based on changes in the mainpancreatic duct in magnetic resonance cholangiopancreatography. Sometimesonly an unclear duct shows in magnetic resonance cholangiopancreatographywith no focal strictures and upstream dilatation of the main pancreatic duct. Serialpancreatic juice cytology is valuable in diagnosis of those patients.
