In this paper,we present a WItness based Data priority mEchanism(WIDE)for vehicles in the vicinity of an accident to facilitate liability *** evaluates the integrity of data generated by these vehicles,called witnesses,in the event of an accident to assure the reliability of data to be used for making liability decisions and ensure that such data are received from credible *** achieve this,WIDE introduces a two-level integrity assessment to achieve end-to-end integrity by initially ascertaining the integrity of data-producing sensors,and validating that data generated have not been altered on transit by compromised road-side units(RSUs)by executing a practical byzantine fault tolerance(pBFT)protocol to reach consensus on data ***,WIDE utilises a blockchain based reputation management system(BRMS)to ensure that only data from highly reputable witnesses are utilised as contributing evidence for facilitating liability ***,we formally verify the proposed framework against data integrity requirements using the Automated Verification of Internet Security Protocols and Applications(AVISPA)with High-Level Protocol Specification Language(HLPSL).Qualitative arguments show that our proposed framework is secured against identified security attacks and assures the reliability of data utilised for making liability decisions,while quantitative evaluations demonstrate that our proposal is practical for fully autonomous vehicle forensics.

For square contingency tables with ordered categories, the present paper gives several theorems that the symmetry model holds if and only if the generalized linear diagonals-parameter symmetry model for cell probabilities and for cumulative probabilities and the mean nonequality model of row and column variables hold. It also shows the orthogonality of statistic for testing goodness-of-fit of the symmetry model. An example is given.

HsfAld, a Protein Identified via FOX Hunting Using Thellungiella salsuginea cDNAs Improves Heat Tolerance by Regulating Heat-Stress-Responsive Gene Expression

In recent years, stronger interest has been focused on the development of field application of polymer impregnation for the purpose of improving the durability of various reinforced concrete structures. Field polymer impregnation system is applied as the surface treatment of old or new cast-in-place reinforced concrete structures. The conventional field polymer impregnation system generally consists of base concrete drying, impregnant penetration and polymerization processes. The authors have developed a new labor- and energy-saving system in which the impregnant is penetrated immediately after the drying of the base concrete, and then the polymerization is accomplished by the heat or thermal energy remaining in the dried concrete in a short time. The purpose of this investigation is to establish the practical procedures for such a rapid field polymer impregnation system. In the laboratory tests, base concrete slabs are dried under various conditions by use of an LPG (liquefied petroleum gas) torch burner and a far infrared heater, and penetrated with methyl methacrylate-based impregnant by ponding method, subsequently polymerized by the remaining thermal energy. The behavior of the impregnant under heating conditions and the effects of the impregnant formulations and working life, base concrete temperature and remaining thermal energy on polymer penetration depth are examined. As a result, it is concluded that the polymer penetration depth can be controlled by the working life of the impregnant and the drying temperature-time product of the base concrete regardless of the drying methods and conditions of the base concrete. The temperature-time product expresses the approximate level of the remaining thermal energy. The practical procedures for the rapid field polymer impregnation system is proposed on the basis of the laboratory test results. Thellungiella salsuginea （formerly T. halophila）, a species closely related to Arabidopsis （Arabidopsis thali-ana）, is tolerant not only to high salt levels, but also to chilling, freezing, and ozone. Here, we report that T. salsuginea also shows greater heat tolerance than Arabidopsis. We identified T. salsuginea HsfAld （TsHsfAld） as a gene that can confer marked heat tolerance on Arabidopsis. TsHsfAld was identified via Full-length cDNA Over-eXpressing gene （FOX） hunt-ing from among a collection of heat-stress-related T. salsuginea cDNAs. Transgenic Arabidopsis overexpressing TsHsfAld showed constitutive up-regulation of many genes in the Arabidopsis AtHsfA1 regulon under normal growth tempera-ture. in Arabidopsis mesophyll protoplasts, TsHsfAld was localized in both the nucleus and the cytoplasm. TsHsfAld also interacted with AtHSP90, which negatively regulates AtHsfAls by forming HsfA1-HSP90 complexes in the cytoplasm. It is likely that the partial nuclear localization of TsHsfAld induced the expression of the AtHsfAld regulon in the transgenic plants at normal temperature. We also discovered that transgenic Arabidopsis plants overexpressing AtHsfAldwere more heat-tolerant than wild-type plants and up-regulated the expression of the HsfAld regulon, as was observed in TsHsfAld-overexpressing plants. We propose that the products of both TsHsfAld and AtHsfAld function as positive regulators of Arabidopsis heat-stress response and would be useful for the improvement of heat-stress tolerance in other plants.

一、前言近年来用纤维增强剂来改善通用建材水泥和混凝的力学性能如抗张强度,延伸度,抗衡击性能等引起了人们极大的注意。多种多样的纤维包括钢丝、耐碱玻璃纤维、维尼纶、聚丙烯纤维、芳纶以及碳纤维等已被用于此途,并在建材工业中已经商品化了。这些增强纤维中,碳纤维尽管其价高,由于其高比强度及杨氏模量以及在高碱性环境下的化学惰性,还是吸引人们选它来增强水泥基脆性基体。它们在钢筋表面不像钢丝那样产生锈污染问题。

AIM:To establish novel intestinal myofibroblast (IMF) cell lines from mouse colonic mucosa and investigate their biological characters. METHODS:Primary IMFs were isolated from mucosal tissues of mouse colon that was denuded of epithelial cells and smooth muscle layer. For immortalization, primary IMFs were transfected with simian virus 40 large T antigen (designated as LmcMF). We also isolated some primary IMFs that spontaneously became immortalized without transfection (designated as SmcMF). To check immortality and normality of these cells, we examined their proliferative ability and contact inhibition. Moreover, the expression levels of proteins characterizing IMFs [including α-smooth muscle actin (α-SMA), vimentin, desmin, and type Ⅰ collagen] and proteins associated with the immune response [such as toll-like receptor 4 (TLR-4), CD14, MD2, IκBα, and p-p38] were determined by Western blotting. The localization of several myofibroblast protein markers was also detected by immunofluorescence staining. RESULTS:The cell growth assay results show that both LmcMF and SmcMF cells proliferated logarithmically at least up to passage 20. In addition, the contact inhibition assays show that LmcMF and SmcMF stopped growing after the cells reached confluence. These data suggest that these 2 types of cells were immortalized without losing contact inhibition of growth. Moreover, both LmcMF and SmcMF, like primary IMFs, showed spindle-shaped appearance. The expression levels of key myofibroblast protein markers, including α-SMA, vimentin, and desmin, were also examined by the Western blotting and immunofluorescence analyses. Our results show that these cells were positive for α-SMA and vimentin, but not desmin, as well as that both LmcMF and SmcMF expressed type Ⅰ collagen at a lower level than primary IMFs. 广泛应用石棉纤维作为石棉水泥制品的增强材料已有很久的历史。由于高品位长纤维石棉资源的耗尽和石棉纤维对人体健康带来的隐患,近年来,人们十分期望发展能代替石棉纤维的代用纤维,代用纤维显示出很好的发展前景,聚合物纤维也被考虑为这样的代用纤维。本研究的目的是弄清聚合物纤维增强水泥强度性能。本论文中,用硅灰和减水剂使聚合物纤维在水泥砂浆中均匀分散。用聚酰胺、聚丙烯腈和聚乙烯醇纤维制备聚合物纤维增强水泥,其水灰比为30％、硅灰比为40％、减水剂用量为水泥重量的4％、纤维的体积含量为0,2.5,和5.0％。用聚合物纤维增强水泥制作棱柱体试件的尺寸为40×40×160mm,试件首先在温度20℃、相对湿度80％的湿空气中养护一天,然后在60℃水中养护六天。养护后的试件进行抗弯强度试验,记录弯曲荷载—挠度曲线以计算弯曲韧性及等效弯曲强度。将经抗弯试验破坏后的部分试件进行抗压强度试验,从试验结果得到的结论概括如下: (1)除聚乙烯醇纤维增强水泥以外,聚合物纤维增强水泥的强度性能如抗弯和抗压强度、弯曲韧性和等效弯曲强度随纤维含量的增加有显著的改善; (2)聚乙烯醇纤维增强材料对聚合物纤维增强水泥的强度性能几乎没有什么影响; (3)除聚乙烯醇纤维外,聚酰胺和聚丙烯腈等聚合物纤维可用作石棉纤维的代用纤维。
