Objective Several COVID-19 patients have overlapping comorbidities. The independent role of each component contributing to the risk of COVID-19 is unknown, and how some non-cardiometabolic comorbidities affect the risk of COVID-19 remains *** A retrospective follow-up design was adopted. A total of 1,160 laboratory-confirmed patients were enrolled from nine provinces in china. Data on comorbidities were obtained from the patients’ medical records. Multivariable logistic regression models were used to estimate the odds ratio(OR) and 95% confidence interval(95% CI) of the associations between comorbidities(cardiometabolic or non-cardiometabolic diseases), clinical severity, and treatment outcomes of *** Overall, 158(13.6%) patients were diagnosed with severe illness and 32(2.7%) had unfavorable outcomes. Hypertension(2.87, 1.30–6.32), type 2 diabetes(T2 DM)(3.57, 2.32–5.49),cardiovascular disease(CVD)(3.78, 1.81–7.89), fatty liver disease(7.53, 1.96–28.96), hyperlipidemia(2.15, 1.26–3.67), other lung diseases(6.00, 3.01–11.96), and electrolyte imbalance(10.40, 3.00–26.10)were independently linked to increased odds of being severely ill. T2 DM(6.07, 2.89–12.75), CVD(8.47,6.03–11.89), and electrolyte imbalance(19.44, 11.47–32.96) were also strong predictors of unfavorable outcomes. Women with comorbidities were more likely to have severe disease on admission(5.46,3.25–9.19), while men with comorbidities were more likely to have unfavorable treatment outcomes(6.58, 1.46–29.64) within two *** Besides hypertension, diabetes, and CVD, fatty liver disease, hyperlipidemia, other lung diseases, and electrolyte imbalance were independent risk factors for COVID-19 severity and poor treatment outcome. Women with comorbidities were more likely to have severe disease, while men with comorbidities were more likely to have unfavorable treatment outcomes.

The neutron capture cross sections(n,γ)of bromine were obtained using the time-of-flight technique at the Back-n facility of the china Spallation Neutron ***γ-rays originating from neutron-induced capture events were detected using four C_(6)D_(6) *** pulse-height weighting technique and double-bunch unfolding method based on Bayesian theory were used in the data *** deductions,normalization,and corrections were carefully considered to obtain reliable measurement *** multilevel R-matrix Bayesian code SAMMY was used to extract the resonance parameters in the resolved resonance region(RRR).The average cross sections in the unresolved resonance region(URR)were obtained from 10 to 400 *** experimental results were compared with data from several evaluated libraries and previous experi-ments in the RRR and *** TALYS code was used to describe the average cross sections in the *** astrophysical Maxwell average cross sections(MACSs)of ^(79,81)Br from kT=5 to 100 keV were calculated over a sufficiently wide range of neutron *** a thermal energy of kT=30 keV,the MACS value for ^(79)Br 682±68 mb was in good agreement with the KADoNiS v1.0 recommended *** contrast,the value of 293±29 mb for ^(81)Br was substantially higher than that of the evaluated database and the KADoNiS v1.0 recommended value.

There is little research that focuses on the relationship between the gut,metabolism,nutritional support and *** a group of Chinese physicians,nutritionists and scientists working on the frontline treating COVID-19 patients,we aim to integrate our experiences and the current clinical evidence to address this pressing issue in this *** on our clinical observations and available evidence,we recommend the following ***,the Nutritional Risk Screening 2002 tool should be used routinely and periodically;for patients with a score≥3,oral nutritional supplements should be given ***,for patients receiving the antiviral agents lopinavir/ritonavir,gastrointestinal side effects should be monitored for and timely intervention ***,for feeding,the enteral route should be the first *** patients undergoing mechanical ventilation,establishing a jejunal route as early as possible can guarantee the feeding target being achieved if gastric dilatation ***,we suggest a permissive underfeeding strategy for severe/critical patients admitted to the intensive care unit during the first week of admission,with the energy target no more than 20 kcal/kg/day(for those on mechanical ventilation,this target may be lowered to 10–15 kcal/kg/day)and the protein target around 1.0–1.2 g/kg/*** the inflammatory condition is significantly alleviated,the energy target may be gradually increased to 25–30 kcal/kg/day and the protein target to 1.2–1.5 g/kg/***,supplemental parenteral nutrition should be used with ***,omega-3 fatty acids may be used as immunoregulators,intravenous administration of omega-3 fatty emulsion(10 g/day)at an early stage may help to reduce the inflammatory reaction.

With the digestive endoscopic tunnel technique(DETT), many diseases that previously would have been treated by surgery are now endoscopically curable by establishing a submucosal tunnel between the mucosa and muscularis propria(MP). Through the tunnel, endoscopic diagnosis or treatment is performed for lesions in the mucosa, in the MP, and even outside the gastrointestinal(GI) *** present, the tunnel technique application range covers the following:(1)Treatment of lesions originating from the mucosal layer, e.g., endoscopic submucosal tunnel dissection for oesophageal large or circular early-stage cancer or precancerosis;(2) treatment of lesions from the MP layer, per-oral endoscopic myotomy, submucosal tunnelling endoscopic resection, etc.; and(3) diagnosis and treatment of lesions outside the GI tract, such as resection of lymph nodes and benign tumour excision in the mediastinum or abdominal cavity. With the increasing number of DETTs performed worldwide, endoscopic tunnel therapeutics, which is based on DETT, has been gradually developed and optimized. However, there is not yet an expert consensus on DETT to regulate its indications, contraindications, surgical procedure, and postoperative *** International DETT Alliance signed up this consensus to standardize the procedures of DETT. In this consensus, we describe the definition, mechanism,and significance of DETT, prevention of infection and concepts of DETTassociated complications, methods to establish a submucosal tunnel, and application of DETT for lesions in the mucosa, in the MP and outside the GI tract(indications and contraindications, procedures, pre-and postoperative treatments, effectiveness, complications and treatments, and a comparison between DETT and other operations).

2005年是中国承诺碳减排目标的基准年份,因而也是中国城市碳减排战略制定和近中期低碳转型的基准年份和对照年份。中国城市2005年CO_2排放数据的一致性、全面性和精准性对于中国所有城市和每个具体城市的目标考核和评估都有重要意义。基于中国高空间分辨率网格数据(CHRED 2.0)、城市层面统计数据以及大量现场调研和走访,建立2005年中国城市CO_2排放数据集,包括工业能源排放、工业过程排放、农业排放、服务业排放、城镇生活排放、农村生活排放、交通排放7个部门的直接排放数据和间接排放数据。该数据集的建立汇总了86名研究人员的工作成果,在企业、城市不同行业与部门、城市工业和城市总化石能源等不同层面进行了大量的交叉验证和数据分析,有效保障了数据的精确性和准确性。结果显示,2005年中国城市碳排放呈现出较大的体量差异和空间格局差异。排放前10的城市几乎比排放后10的城市的排放量高出两个数量级。高排放城市基本都是城市群的核心城市。东部城市直接排放占全国直接排放比例最高,达到44.59%,其次是西部城市21.76%,中部城市22.70%,东北城市10.95%。

目的目前关于医疗机构工作人员是否需要戴口罩仍存在较大争议,本研究意在评价和总结针对这一问题的现有最佳证据,以期为临床医务工作人员使用口罩提供参考。方法计算机检索PubMed、Cochrane图书馆、Web of science、CINAHL、中国知网、万方、维普、中国生物医学文献数据库,指南数据库平台及相关专业学会组织,检索时限为建库至2019年10月27日,以获取相关指南、专家共识、系统评价,应用国际公认的质量评价工具对纳入的证据进行质量评价,汇总现有证据对医疗机构人员是否需要戴口罩这一问题的相关推荐内容。结果共纳入35篇文献,其中6篇指南,27篇专家共识,2篇系统评价,证据质量整体较高。现有证据均推荐使用口罩作为个人防护措施之一,且与不使用呼吸防护设备相比,戴口罩在预防院内感染方面具有明显的优势,并根据不同的应用情景如手术区域、实验室区、产科等提出多项推荐意见。结论现有证据充分认可戴口罩作为个人防护措施之一在医疗机构中预防院内感染的重要作用。但本研究纳入的证据质量仍有一定的局限性。临床医务工作人员应当结合自身工作经验、临床实际情况等因素综合考虑,合理、规范使用口罩。
