Rutile germanium oxide(rutile GeO_(2)),a semiconductor,can act as a half-metallic compound and is a promising material for spintronic and optoelectronic *** were performed using the Korringa–Kohn–Rostoker(KKR)approach and the coherent potential approximation(CPA),which were further combined with two approximations,the local density approximation(LDA)and the self-interaction corrected LDA approximation(LDA-SIC),to study the electronic structure of bulk rutile GeO_(2) doped and co-doped with three transition-metal impurities:Fe,Co,and *** doping value was set to 10%,while the co-doping level was set to 5%for each *** main findings of this work are:(1)a direct ultrawide bandgap of4.80 eV is observed and the rutile GeO_(2) exhibits an N-type semiconducting property.(2)Doped and co-doped GeO_(2) acquire a magnetic behavior and exhibit half-metallicity.(3)The mechanism responsible for these properties is also studied.(4)The critical temperature can reach 334 K when GeO_(2) is doped with Fe,while it rises to 398 K when it is co-doped with Fe and Co.(5)The spin polarization can be improved by *** can be inferred that rutile GeO_(2) doped or codoped with(Co,Fe)transition metals can be considered to be potential candidates for spintronic and optoelectronic applications.

为了预测某裂缝性气藏在18年规划周期内的累计产量,建立了3种元模型,并结合数值模拟累计产量预测结果对各模型进行了验证和对比。估算了气藏的基本参数(孔隙度、渗透率及含水饱和度)并对气藏进行了数值模拟。将气藏内某井18年内的累计产量表示为各气藏参数的函数,采用储量计算经验函数排除了研究空间内的低潜力点,并基于最大熵准则选取25个高潜力点作为设计点。建立了二次模型、乘性模型和RBF模型3种元模型,基于各模型预测了25个设计点和7个试验点处的累计产量。预测结果表明:各模型均能比较准确地预测累计产量;RBF模型的累计产量预测准确性优于另外2种模型;与数值模拟方法相比,元建模方法的计算时间大幅缩短。

Understanding the thermal dynamics of host-parasitoid interactions is crucial to predicting how biological control of pest insects by parasitoids might be affected by geographic location and climate *** compared performance traits of Plutella xylostella(Lepidoptera:Plutellidae)and its solitary endo-larval parasitoid Diadegma semiclausum(hymenoptera:Ichneumonidae),over a wide range of constant rearing temperatures(10-30℃).Parasitoids reared at 30℃ experienced reductions in pupation rate,pupal mass,egg load,and adult life span when compared with those reared at lower *** analyses of the fate of parasitoids and their hosts and intergenerational population growth at different rearing temperatures show that *** and *** respond differently to temperature,leading to divergent outcomes under different temperature *** parasitoid larvae could not complete development at 30℃,the temperature at which the host biomass was least and the metabolic demands of the parasitoid could be high,suggesting that parasitoid development might be constrained by lack of host resources at higher *** discuss the potential mechanisms of parasitoid susceptibility to elevated temperatures,which likely explain the pronounced seasonal dynamics of *** in subtropical regions and its failure to establish in lowland tropical regions,where *** is a serious *** interactions in other host-parasitoid associations would constrain the efficacy of parasitoids as biological control agents as global temperatures increase.

Background: highly Active Antiretroviral Therapy (hAART) has changed the clinical picture of hIV infection by reducing morbidity and mortality rates in the population. however, alterations in lipid metabolism leading to hypertriglyceridemia, hypercholesterolemia, insulin resistance, hyperglycemia and redistribution of body fat, which are risk factors for cardiovascular diseases, have emerged. Metabolic Syndrome (MS) is a complex disorder represented by a set of cardiovascular risk factors commonly associated with central adiposity and insulin resistance. Aim: Current paper evaluates the prevalence of MS in patients with hIV/AIDS using hAART from a reference Center in southern Brazil. Methods: Samples comprised patients who had the infection for at least five years and were undergoing antiretroviral therapy. Metabolic syndrome was identified according to the National Cholesterol Education Program Expert Panel on Detection, Evaluation, and Treatment of high Blood Cholesterol in Adults (NCEP-ATPIII). A physical examination was performed by evaluating percentage of body fat by bio-impedance and measuring blood pressure, determination of Body Mass Index and Waist-hip Ratio, glycaemia, total cholesterol, hDL cholesterol, LDL cholesterol and triglycerides. Results: 184 patients were evaluated. MS prevalence was 30% (55 patients), with 30 (16.3%) males and 25 (13.7%) females. Conclusions: Brazil was among the first country profoundly impacted by the hIV/AIDS epidemic but today, Brazil has less than 1% adult hIV prevalence, implemented treatment and prevention programs early in the epidemic. Whereas there is currently a significant increase in the survival of hIV patients by hAART, the patients reveal a higher prevalence of Metabolic Syndrome in this specific population requiring political strategy of care to this population.

DLC super-hard films have been deposited on the substrates of single crystalline Si, pure Ti and stainless steel 18-8 by a method of vacuum cathode arc deposition (VCAD). The composition, microstructure and micro-hardness of the films have been studied in this paper. The results indicate that hardness of the DLC films is different on the different substrates. hardness of the films increases with decreasing in surface roughness of the films. The maximum value of micro-hardness belongs to the DLC films deposited under the hydrogen pressure of 0.35Pa and the negative bias of 100V.

CeO2 nanocrystals were synthesized by a simple precipitation method and calcination at 600℃.(Nh4)2Ce(NO3)6 and ammonia were used as *** CeO2 nanoparticles were characterized by X-ray diffraction,Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy,transmission electron microscopy,and N2 *** photodegradation of methylene blue catalyzed by CeO2 nanoparticles was studied under UV and sunlight *** highest degradation was obtained with 1.0 g/L CeO2 at ph 11 within 125 *** pseudo first order rate constants of dye bleaching were calculated as 16.2×10-3 and 15.7×10-3 min-1 under UV and sunlight irradiation,*** effect of iso-PrOh,iodide ion,and h2O2 was studied to predict the pathway of dye *** obtained results indicate the effect of photogenerated holes in the degradation mechanism of the ***,the photocatalytic activity of the prepared photocatalyst was studied in the presence of several negative ions.
