Diabetic retinopathy(DR)is one of the most common complications of diabetes and major cause of blindness among people over 50 years *** studies showed that the vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)played a central role in the pathogenesis of DR,and application of anti-VEGF has been widely acknowledged in treatment of DR targeting retinal ***,anti-VEGF therapy has several limitations such as drug *** is essential to develop new drugs for future clinical *** vitreous takes up 80%of the whole globe volume and is in direct contact with the retina,making it possible to explore the pathogenesis of DR by studying related factors in the *** article reviewed recent studies on DR-related factors in the vitreous,elaborating the VEGF upstream hypoxia-inducible factor(HIF)pathway and downstream pathways phosphatidylinositol diphosphate(PIP2),phosphoinositide-3-kinase(PI3 K),and mitogenactivated protein kinase(MAPK)***,factors other than VEGF contributing to the pathogenesis of DR in the vitreous were also summarized,which included factors in four major systems,kallikrein-kinin system such as bradykinin,plasma kallikrein,and coagulation factor XII,oxidative stress system such as lipid peroxide,and superoxide dismutase,inflammation-related factors such as interleukin-1β/6/13/37,and interferon-γ,matrix metalloproteinase(MMP)system such as MMP-9/***,we also introduced other DR-related factorssuch as adiponectin,certain specific amino acids,noncoding RNA and renin(pro)receptor in separate studies.

基于不同商业运营模式的分布式电源/微电网综合效益评价方法

鉴于近年来光伏的迅速发展,以及分布式电源及微电网项目面临的成本及运营问题,建立基于不同分布式电源/微电网并网方式和不同商业运营模式的项目综合效益评价模型,提出分布式发电/微电网项目的综合效益分析流程图,并进行实际工程的算例分析。该方法弥补了分布式发电经济性分析较为粗犷的缺点,考虑全寿命周期内项目的收益和成本,综合考虑复杂电价体系下采用不同运营主体的收益,以及初始投资、运行维护、投资回收期等成本因素对分布式发电项目经济性的影响,并优选出最优的运营模式。实证分析结果表明,该方法在分布式发电项目经济性评价中是有效的且准确的。结果表明采用由分布式发电商进行电源投资,由电网企业负责用户配电网或微电网的运行、维护和售电的运营模式是盈利水平最高的运营模式。

Effect of scanning speed during PTA remelting treatment on the microstructure and wear resistance of nodular cast iron

The surface of nodular cast iron （NCI） with a ferrite substrate was rapidly remelted and solidified by plasma transferred arc （PTA） to induce a chilled structure with high hardness and favorable wear resistance. The effect of scanning speed on the microstructure, micro-hardness distribution, and wear properties of PTA-remelted specimens was systematically investigated. Microstructural characterization in-dicated that the PTA remelting treatment could dissolve most graphite nodules and that the crystallized primary austenite dendrites were transformed into cementite, martensite, an interdendritic network of ledeburite eutectic, and certain residual austenite during rapid solidifica-tion. The dimensions of the remelted zone and its dendrites increase with decreased scanning speed. The microhardness of the remelted zone varied in the range of 650 HV0.2 to 820 HV0.2, which is approximately 2.3-3.1 times higher than the hardness of the substrate. The wear re-sistance of NCI was also significantly improved after the PTA remelting treatment.

DETERMINATION OF ROCK-BREAKING PERFORMANCE OF HIGH-PRESSURE SUPERCRITICAL CARBON DIOXIDE JET

In this study, a well-designed experimental setup is used to determine the rock-breaking performance of a high-pressure supercritical carbon dioxide （SC-CO2） jet. Its rock-breaking performance is first compared with that of a high-pressure water jet under the same operation conditions. The effects of five major factors that affect the rock-breaking performance of the high-pressure SC-CO2 jet, i.e., the nozzle diameter, the standoff distance, the jet pressure, the rock compressive strength and the jet temperature are experimentally determined. The experimental results indicate that the rock-breaking performance of the SC-CO2 jet is significantly improved over the high-pressure water jet. It is also found that the rock-breaking performance of the SC-CO2 jet is improved with the increase of the nozzle diameter or the standoff distance, until the nozzle diameter or the standoff distance reaches a certain critical value and after that it begins to deteriorate. The rock-breaking performance of the SC-CO2 jet improves monotonically with the increase of the jet pressure, while it shows a monotonic deterioration with the increase of the rock compressive strength. In addition, it is found that, under the same working conditions, the SC-CO2 jet can always provide a better rock-breaking performance than the subcritical liquid CO2 jet.

Application of plant DNA metabarcoding of lake sediments for monitoring vegetation compositions on the Tibetan Plateau

Benefiting from the rapid development of environmental DNA(eDNA) technologies, sedimentary DNA(sedDNA)emerges as a promising tool for monitoring plant compositions in remote regions. The Tibetan Plateau(TP), renowned for its harsh environment and numerous ponds and lakes, presents a potentially demanding region for the application of sedDNA on vegetation investigations. Here, we used the g and h universal primers for the P6 loop region of the chloroplast trn L(UAA)intron to amplify plant DNA in surface sediments from 59 ponds and small lakes on the southwestern TP. The applicability and limitations of using plant DNA metabarcoding for modern vegetation monitoring and palaeo-vegetation reconstructions have been assessed by comparing sedDNA, pollen, and vegetation survey data. Our results showed that plant DNA metabarcoding recorded 186 terrestrial taxa, of which 30.1% can be identified at the species level. The plant sedDNA approach can effectively disclose the dominant plant taxa(including Asteraceae, Cyperaceae and Poaceae) and significant vegetation assemblages in the vicinity of the investigated sites. The number of taxa and taxonomic resolution of plant sedDNA exceeded that of pollen analysis(75 taxa detected, 5.3% can be identified at species level). Unlike pollen that retains a broad spectrum of regional plant signals(including Pinus and Artemisia), plant sedDNA mirrors very local plants, underscoring its utility in local vegetation monitoring and reconstructions. To conclude, plant DNA metabarcoding of(small) lake sediments warrant increased attention in the future for local vegetation monitoring and reconstructions on the TP.
