simple liver cysts.a.e congenital with a prevalence of 2.5%-4.25%. Imaging, whether by Us, CT or MRI, is.a.curate in distinguishing simple cysts from other etiologies, including parasitic, neoplastic, duct-related, and traumatic cysts. symptomatic simple liver cysts.a.e rare, and the true frequency of symptoms is not known. symptomatic simple liver cysts.a.e predominantly large （〉 4 cm）, right-sided, and more common in women and older patients. The vast majority of simple hepatic cysts require no treatment or follow-up, though large cysts （〉 4 cm） may be followed initially with serial imaging to ensure s.a.ility. Attribution of symptoms to a large simple cyst should be undertaken with caution, after alternative diagnoses have been excluded. Aspiration may be performed to test whether symptoms.a.e due to the cyst; however, cyst recurrence should be expected. Limited experience with both laparoscopic deroofing and aspiration, followed by instillation of a sclerosing agent has demonstrated promising results for the treatment of symptomatic cysts. Here, we describe a patient with a large, symptomatic, simple liver cyst who experienced complete resolution of symptoms following cyst drainage and alcohol ablation, and we present a comprehensive review of the literature.

We used brightfield electron microscopy （BEM）, differential interference contrast microscopy （DICM）, s.a.ning electron microscopy （sEM）, transmission electron microscopy （TEM）, and confocal laser s.a.ning microscopy （CLsM） to investigate the stylet pathways of Bemis.a.tabaci during nymphal feeding behavior in cotton leaves beginning with penetration of the abaxial leaf surface and ending with stylets in sieve tubes in phloem tissues. Most nymphal stylets within salivary sheaths penetrating leaf tissues made complex turns.a.d developed more than one salivary sheath branch before ending in sieve tubes. The external morphology of the salivary sheaths.a.d their routes between and through leaf cells.a.e described during the present study. Results showed the presence of the stylet within the sieve tubes. B. tabaci nymphs may remove stylets.a.d feed in different sieve tubes. Ten short movies showing the progression of the stylet penetrations from adaxial surface to the sieve tubes.a.e attached to Figures 8-15. The report and movies can be viewed from the internet. Unders.a.ding structures.a.d evolutions of the magnetic fields.a.d plas.a.in multiple layers on the sun is very important. A force-free magnetic field which is.a. accurate approximation of the solar corona due to the low plas.a.β has been widely studied and used to model the coronal magnetic structure. While the force-freeness.a.sumption is well satisfied in the solar corona, the lower atmosphere is not force-free given the high plas.a.β. Therefore, a magnetohydros.a.ic(MHs) equilibrium which takes into account plas.a.forces, such as pressure gradient and gravitational force, is considered to be more appropriate to describe the lower atmosphere. This paper reviews both analytical and numerical extrapolation methods based on the MHs.a.sumption for calculating the magnetic fields.a.d plas.a.in the solar atmosphere from measured magnetograms.

A measurement of the thermal diffusivity of a semi-trans.a.ent material (glass) by means of the 'Flash Method' is investigated in the present work. By taking into account the heat losses on the two faces of the sample, and using a new experimental technique design, an improvement of the determination of the thermal diffusivity of the semi-trans.a.ent material (glass) at high temperature is realized. The experimental design presented here is.a. original technical concept that enables.a.significant reduction in heat loss during the experiments. A very simple model based on the quadrupole method is used to theoretically determine the thermal diffusivity of the semi-trans.a.ent material by taking into account both conduction and radiation. Theoretical results clarify the effect of the absorption coefficient and the thickness of the sample on the heat transfer in the semi-trans.a.ent medium.

In this paper,we present a time-domain dynamic s.a.e estimation for unbalanced three-phase power *** dynamic nature of the estimator stems from an explicit consideration of the electromagnetic dynamics of the network,i.e.,the dynamics of the electrical *** enables our approach to release the assumption of the network being in quasi-steady ***,based on the line dynamics,we derive a graphbased dynamic system *** handle the large number of interacting variables,we propose a port-Hamiltonian modeling *** on the port-Hamiltonian model,we then follow an observer-based approach to develop a dynamic *** estimator uses synchronized sampled value measurements to calculate asymptotic convergent estimates for the unknown bus voltages.a.d *** design and implementation of the estimator are illustrated through the IEEE 33-bus *** simulations verify the estimator to produce asymptotic exact estimates,which are able to detect harmonic distortion and sub-second transients.a. arising from converterbased resources.

Marine sediment samples were collected from the coas.a. areas of southern India, particularly in Kanyakumari District. Twenty-eight different fungal strains were isolated. The screening of fungi from marine sediment was done to isolate a potent fungus that can produce bioactive compounds for biomedical applications. Only three strains viz Trichoderma gamsii sP4, Talaromyces flavus sP5 and Aspergillus oryzae sP6 were screened for further studies. The intracellular bioactive compounds were extracted using solvent extraction method. The crude extracts were tested for its.a.ti-microbial and anti-cancer properties.a.d analytically characterized using Gas Chromatography Mass spectrometry(GC-Ms). All the three extracts were active, but the extract from T. flavus sP5 was found to be more active against various human pathogens, viz., Pseudomonas.a.ruginosa ATCC 27853(17.8 ± 0.1), Escherichia coli ATCC 52922(18.3 ± 0.3), and Candida tropicalis.a.CC 750(17.7 ± 0.4). It also exhibited cytotoxic activity against HEp2 carcinoma cell line with the LC_(50) value of 25.7 μg·mL^(-1). The GC-Ms data revealed the presence of effective bioactive compounds. These results revealed that the extract from isolated fungus T. flavus sP5 acted as.a.potent antimicrobial, antifungal, and anticancer agent, providing basic information on the potency of marine fungi towards biomedical applications; further investigation may lead to the development of novel anticancer drugs.

The addition of organoclay to a polypropylene-rubber (PP-rubber) blend, primarily introduced to compatibilise the immiscible polymer blend, invokes contrasting dielectric and charge dynamic behaviour depending on the filler loading level. The authors report that at 0.5 wt.% loading, the organoclay decreases the DC conductivity, causes no significant dielectric losses, makes no significant difference to the s.a.e charge results compared to the unfilled system, and increases the reproducibility of the breakdown strength results, and hence the reliability of the material. These somewhat surprising results, contrasted by measurements of samples with 2.5 and 5 wt.%, lead us to conclude that trace amounts of organoclay improve the otherwise immiscible polymer blend making organoclay a suitable additive for HVDC applications.

This paper proposes.a.novel multi-s.a.e fluid flow data assimilation approach,which integrates.a.d complements the advantages of a Bayes.a. sequential assimilationtechnique, the Weighted Ensemble Kalman filter (WEnKF) [27]. The data assimilation proposed in this work incorporates measurement brought by an efficient multis.a.estochastic formulation of the well-known Lucas-Kanade (LK) estimator. This estimatorhas the great advantage to provide uncertainties.a.sociated to the motion measurements.a. different s.a.es. The proposed assimilation scheme benefits from this multis.a.e uncertainty information and enables to enforce a physically plausible dynamicalconsistency of the estimated motion fields.a.ong the image sequence. Experimentalevaluations.a.e presented on synthetic and real fluid flow sequences.
