Advancing Wound Filling Extraction on 3d Faces:An Auto-Segmentation and Wound Face Regeneration Approach

Facial wound segmentation plays a crucial role in preoperative planning and optimizing patient outcomes in various medical *** this paper,we propose an efficient approach for automating 3d facial wound segmentation using a two-stream graph convolutional *** method.leverages the Cir3d-FaIR dataset and addresses the challenge of data imbalance through extensive experimentation with different loss *** achieve accurate segmentation,we conducted thorough experiments and selected a high-performing model from the *** selectedmodel demonstrates exceptional segmentation performance for complex 3d facial ***,based on the segmentation model,we propose an improved approach for extracting 3d facial wound fillers and compare it to the results of the previous *** method achieved a remarkable accuracy of 0.9999993% on the test suite,surpassing the performance of the previous *** this result,we use 3d printing technology to illustrate the shape of the wound *** outcomes of this study have significant implications for physicians involved in preoperative planning and intervention *** automating facial wound segmentation and improving the accuracy ofwound-filling extraction,our approach can assist in carefully assessing and optimizing interventions,leading to enhanced patient ***,it contributes to advancing facial reconstruction techniques by utilizing machine learning and 3d bioprinting for printing skin tissue *** source code is available at https://***/SIMOGroup/WoundFilling3d.

This paper develops a discrete-time sliding mode controller with a power rate exponential reaching law approach to enhance the performance of a pneumatic artificial muscle system in both reaching time and chattering *** proposed method dynamically adapts to the variation of the switching function,which is based on an exponential term and a power rate term of the sliding ***,the controlled system can achieve high tracking performance while still obtain chattering-free ***,the effectiveness of the proposed method is validated through multiple experimental tests,focused on a dual pneumatic artificial muscle ***,experimental results show the effectiveness of the proposed approach in this paper.

Using the calculation of phase diagrams approach and Scheil solidification modeling,the Al-2.5Mg-1.0Ni-0.4Sc-0.1Zr alloy was designed,intentionally with an extraordinarily high cracking susceptibility,making it prime for solidification cracking during laser powder bed *** study demonstrates the ability to mitigate even the most extreme solidification cracking tendencies in aluminum alloys with only minor alloying additions of Sc and Zr,0.5 wt.%***,by employing a simple direct ageing heat treatment,good tensile mechanical properties were observed with a yield strength of 308 MPa,an ultimate tensile strength of 390 MPa,and a total elongation of 11%.

The mechanical properties of unidirectional natural fiber-reinforced composites are generally affected by several processing parameters during compression *** study investigates the effects of processing temperature,time,and pressure on the tensile and flexural properties of acrylonitrile butadiene styrene reinforced by banana fibers.X-ray CT imaging was employed to find the relationship between the mechanical properties and structure of the processed ***,the water absorption of composites was observed and the way in which the mechanical properties evolved after water absorption was *** tensile and flexural properties of the unidirectional banana fiber-reinforced composite were found to be inversely proportional to the *** addition,high-pressure compression molding might result in cracks and floating fibers that would significantly reduce its mechanical *** composite with the highest strength,smallest porosity and lowest water absorption was optimally prepared at T=170℃,t=20 min,and P=100 kg cm^-2.

Mollusks Resources in Western Coast of the Tonkin Gulf

It has been classed 856 species of the mollusks which belong to 120 families and five classes living in western coast of the Tonkin Gulf. The class Gastropod was the most abundant, with 449 species, the Bivalve with 368 species, the Scaphopoda with 10 species, the Cephalopods with 19 species and the Amphineura with eight species. Standing stock was estimated about 366,749 tons, that annually caught 80,000 tons. The causes of the resource depletion were human and natural, but the human factors played a key role. The fundamental orientations for developing the resources include： exploiting during harvest seasons, planning suitable aquaculture, moderate exploitation so the resources can restore themselves, combining exploitation and conservation.

To the Editor:Recent randomized controlled trials,as well as high-quality systematic reviews and meta-analyses,strongly support the use of corticosteroids in patients with coronavirus disease 2019(COVId-19)who require oxygen support.[1]The use of pulse cor-ticosteroid therapy has been reported in case series and studies,showing significant improvement in patients and a reduction in mortality rate.[2]In this letter,we report the mortality rate among patients with severe COVId-19 receiving pulse corticos-teroids with methylprednisolone(500 mg/day)for≥3 days and≥24 h before intubation(median duration of therapy:3 days)compared with standard of care.

Role of bile acids in colon carcinogenesis

Bile acids(BAs)are cholesterol derivatives synthesized in the liver and then secreted into the intestine for lipid *** are numerous scientific reports describing BAs,especially secondary BAs,as strong carcinogens or promoters of colon ***,BAs act as strong stimulators of colorectal cancer(CRC)initiation by damaging colonic epithelial cells,and inducing reactive oxygen species production,genomic destabilization,apoptosis resistance,and cancer stem cells-like ***,BAs promote CRC progression via multiple mechanisms,including inhibiting apoptosis,enhancing cancer cell proliferation,invasion,and *** are diverse signals involved in the carcinogenesis mechanism of BAs,with a major role of epidermal growth factor receptor,and its down-stream signaling,involving mitogen-activated protein kinase,phosphoinositide 3-kinase/Akt,and nuclear factor kappa-light-chain-enhancer of activated B *** regulate numerous genes including the human leukocyte antigen class I gene,p53,matrix metalloprotease,urokinase plasminogen activator receptor,Cyclin d1,cyclooxygenase-2,interleukin-8,and miRNAs of CRC cells,leading to CRC *** evidence suggests that targeting BAs is an efficacious strategies for CRC prevention and treatment.

Liver transplant(LT)is the curative treatment for patients with hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).Bridge therapies are local treatments given to patients on the LT waitlist,to prevent tumor progression and to reduce the dropout *** presentation:We reported a 40-year-old man diagnosed with Barcenola-Clinic Liver Cancer BCLC intermediate stage HCC and Child-Pugh A5 hepatitis B virus cirrhosis who underwent combined bridge therapies to ***,the patient received transarterial chemoembolization(TACE)for two times and showed a partial *** he underwent stereotactic body radiation therapy(SBRT)with a total dose of 45 Gy in 3 *** months later,the tumor size and serum protein induced by Vitamin K absence or antagonists-II,alpha fetoprotein levels decreased *** June 2019 a suitable donor was found and his LT was successfully ***:We propose that a combination of TACE and SBRT was feasible as bridge therapy for HCC patients on the LT waitlist.

Responses of Native Tree Species to Soil Water Stress in a Tropical Forest on Limestone,Vietnam

Forests over limestone in the tropics have received little attention and limestone forests in Vietnam have been overlooked to an even greater extent in terms of tree physiology. In Ba Be National Park, Vietnam, soil water availability in limestone forests seems to be the most limiting factor in the dry season. Therefore, in order to enhance the preliminary knowledge of choosing native tree species for enrichment planting in the restoration zone, characteristics of the 20 native tree species to soil water stress were investigated in a limestone forest. One-ha plot each consisting of twenty-five 20 m × 20 m plots was established in undisturbed forests. All trees ≥ 10 cm dBH were measured in 20 m × 20 m plots, while twenty-five 5 m × 5 m subplots were established in order to sample the regeneration of tree species with a dBH der apparatus and freezing point osmometry were used in order to measure the leaf water potential (Ψw) and.leaf osmotic potential (Ψπ) of the 20 native tree species, respectively in this study. 61 species belonging to 34 families of all trees with a dBH ≥ 10 cm were recorded in one ha, while 31 species representing 18 families of trees dBH were identified in 625 m2. The 20 species’ leaf water and osmotic potential values revealed significant differences among species. The maximum leaf water potential was not affected by any anticipated sources of variation, while the minimum water potential, however, showed significant variation to soil water stress. The results in the study area emphasized the importance of water factors in influencing tree species distribution;it could be concluded that native species with wide water potential ranges would be better able to withstand water changes and might be thus good candidates for reforestation (enrichment planting) in limestone areas.

Optical Trap 2d Array by Acoustic Modulation

In this artilce a new optical trap 2d array by the acoustic modulation is proposed. Based on the ＂called＂ acoustic-elasticity of the fluid embedding trapped microparticle, the expression describing the refractive index induced by cross-interference of two perpendicular ultrasonic waves is approximately derived. By simulation, the 2d array of the Graded-refractive index lenses appeared in the fluid layer with certain strain-acoustic constant and thickness. The trapping capability of the plane-wave laser beam propagating through those lenses is shown out, and the appearance of the optical trap 2d array has been affirmed.
