Bile duct epithelial tumours showing papillary neoplasm in the bile duct lumen are present in the intrahepatic and extrahepatic bile *** images of these tumours are distinctive and diverse,including histological images with a low to high grade dysplasia,infiltrating and noninfiltrating characteristics,excessive mucus production,and similarity to intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasm(IPMN)of the *** World Health Organization Classification of Tumours of the Digestive System in 2010 named these features,intraductal papillary neoplasm of the bile duct(IPNB),as precancerous lesion of biliary *** is currently classified into type 1 that is similar to IPMN,and type 2 that is not similar to *** of IPNB spreads superficially,and diagnosis with cholangioscopy is considered mandatory to identify accurate localization and *** of IPNB is said to be better than normal bile duct cancer.

The research article by Li et *** the clinical benefits of hepatic arterial infusion chemotherapy(HAIC)(also known as transarterial infusion chemotherapy)with FOLFOX compared with transarterial chemoembolization(TACE)and sorafenib in advanced hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)patients(1).HAIC was still selected as a common treatment option for advanced HCC mostly in Asian countries even when multi-kinase inhibitors were established as the standard *** is believed that experts in Asia fully understand HAIC’s clinical benefit for advanced HCC due to HAIC was a traditional transarterial treatment method which had evolved in Asia and performed before multi-kinase inhibitor *** biggest reason HAIC had not become the global standard,even with the evidence of high-level efficacy,was the lack of well-designed clinical studies.

By using the rawinsonde data, upper cloud amount data and objective analysis data for global domain which all were produced by Numerical Prediction Division,JMA and by using daily and mean weather map issUed by JMA and daily rainfall data over the Huaihe River Basin from China,an observational study to the early summer seasonal change of large-scale circulation over East Asia and its relation to change of the frontal features and environment for the frontal rainfall has been carried *** reaults have been obtained:(1) The early summer seasonal change of large-scale circulation was occurred during 20-23 May 1991,which was about 10 days earlier than the *** the period the subtropical westerly jet and tropical easterlies abruptly moved northward;(2) The northward movement of the tropical easterlies was not uniform,it was earlier at 100 hpa level and about 24 hrs late at 200 hpa *** phenomenon was associated with earlier disappearence of the subtropical westerly jet at 100 hpa level;(3)During the seasonal change there were two westerly jets in the upper level and changed their intensity with the *** 18 May 1991,the southern one was more intense and then changed to more intense for the northern one and disappearence of the southern one,the phenomenon seemed to be appeared as northward movement of the southernjet;(4) A faster temperature(n rising in the upper level over the Tibetan Plateau was associated with the *** the T rising the T maximum moved onto the plateau,changing the T gradient from positive to negahve to the south flank of the plateau,the effect to leduce and disappear the southern *** the T rising was associated with change of the frontal features over East Asia;(5) The seasonal change type during 1991 was same as that during 1992 and 1993,but different from that during 1990;(6) The environment for the frontal rainfall was change in the season,the differences were in the baroclinity in upper level

This paper describes the fabrication of a waveguide and the analysis of its polarization characteristics by applying light-emitting diode(LED) pumping lights to its *** using double tubed coaxial line(DTCL) microwave plasma chemical vapor deposition(MPCVD) equipment,an a-Si:H/SiN multilayer waveguide was fabricated whose thickness could be controlled at nanometer *** main structural material of the waveguide sample consisted of a combination of layers of amorphous silicon hydrogen and silicon *** the sample was ready,another major objective of the experiment was to analyze the polarization characteristics of the fabricated *** idea of the experiment was to analyze how the waveguide reacts when three types of LED(blue,yellow,and red) are radiated onto its *** results showed that the fabrication of the a-Si:H/SiN sample is *** effective transmission results,which accord with the polarization characteristics analysis,were obtained.

·AIM:To describe a case in which vitrectomy was required for vitreous hemorrhage and fibrovascular proliferation after laser-induced chorioretinal venous anastomosis (LCVA) for non-ischemic central retinal vein occlusion (CRVO).·METHODS:Observational case report.·RESULTS:A 72-year-old man complained of central scotoma in the left eye,and was diagnosed as suffering from non-ischemic *** was performed in another *** favorable visual function was briefly maintained postoperatively,severe vitreous hemorrhage developed in his left eye,necessitating vitrectomy.·CONCLUSION:Considering that LCVA carries a risk of serious complications,we must apply this treatment with caution,especially in ethnic groups,such as the Japanese,in whom pigmentation reacts to photocoagulation excessively.·

Background:The use of image analysis to understand the structure of chromosome and chromatin is critical to the study of genetic evolution and ***,a detailed chromosome map and the structure of chromatin in the nucleus may contribute to the plant breeding and the study of fundamental biology and genetics in ***:In plants with a fully annotated genome project,such as the Leguminosae species,the integration of genetic information,including DNA sequence data,a linkage map,and the cytological quantitative chromosome map could further improve their genetic *** numerical parameters of chromocenters in 3D can provide useful genetic information for phylogenetic studies of plant diversity and heterochromatic markers whose epigenetic changes may explain the developmental and environmental changes in the plant *** DNA fibers combined with fluorescence in situ hybridization revealed the highest spatial resolution of the obtained genome ***,image analysis at the nano-scale level using a helium ion microscope revealed the surface structure of chromatin,which consists of chromatin fibers compacted into plant ***:The studies described in this review sought to measure and evaluate chromosome and chromatin using the image analysis method,which may reduce measurement time and improve ***,we discussed the development of an effective image analysis to evaluate the structure of chromosome and *** effective application study of cell biology and the genetics of plants using image analysis methods is expected to be a major propeller in the development of new applications.

Hepatocellular carcinoma with chronic B-type hepatitis complicated by autoimmune hemolytic anemia:A case report

A 57-year-old man consulted a local hospital because of a persistent slight fever. At the age of 37 years he was diagnosed having B-type hepatitis, but left the liver dysfunction untreated. Twenty years later, he was diagnosed having chronic hepatitis B, hepatocellular carcinoma （HCC） and macrocytic anemia, and referred to our hospital for further investigation. A HCC with a maximum diameter of 5.2 cm was detected in segment 8. Results of blood tests included 1.8 mg/dL serum total bilirubin, 0.9 mg/dL bilirubin, less than 10 mg/dL haptoglobin, 7.9 g/dL hemoglobin, 130 fL MCV, and 14.5% reticuloo/tes. A bone marrow sample showed erythroid hyperplasia. The direct Coombs test gave a positive result. We diagnosed the anemia as autoimmmune hemolytic anemia （AIHA）, for which prednisolone could not be administered due to positivity for HBsAg and HBeAg. After preparation of washed blood cells for later transfusion, the patient underwent systematic resection of segment 8. The cut surface of the resected specimen demonstrated an encapsulated yellow-brownish tumor measuring 52 mmx 40 mm which was diagnosed pathologicaly as moderately differentiated HCC. On the 9th postoperative day, the patient＇s temperature rose to 38℃, and exacerbated hemolysis was observed. The maximum total bilirubin value was 5.8 mg/dL and minimum hemoglobin level was 4.6 g/dL. He tolerated this period without blood transfusion. Currently he is being followed up as an outpatient, and shows no signs of HCC recurrence or symptoms of anemia. AIHA associated with HBV infection has been described in only three previous cases, and the present case is the first in which surgery was performed for accompanying HCC.

Owing to their attractive structure and mechanical properties,high-entropy alloys(HEAs) and mediumentropy alloys(MEAs) have attracted considerable research *** strength of HEAs/MEAs with a single face-centered cubic(FCC) phase,on the other hand,requires ***,in this study,we demonstrate a strategy for increasing the room-temperature strength of FCC-phase HEAs/MEAs by tuning cryo-pre-straining-induced crystal defects via the temperature-dependent stacking fault energyregulated plasticity *** neutron diffraction line profile analysis and electron microscope observation,the effect of the tuned defects on the tensile strength was *** to the cryorolling-induced high dislocation density,mechanical twins,and stacking faults,the room-temperature yield strength of an equiatomic CoCrFeNi HEA was increased by ~290%,from 243 MPa(as-recrystallized)to 941.6 MPa(30% cryo-rolled),while maintaining a tensile elongation of 18%.After partial recovery via heat treatment,the yield strength and ultimate tensile strength decreased slightly to 869 and 936 MPa,***,the elongation increased to 25.6%,The dislocation density and distribution of the dislocations were found to contribute to the strengthening caused by forest dislocations,which warrants further *** study discussed the possibility of developing single-phase high-performance HEAs by tuning pre-straining-induced crystal defects.

Optical near-field excitation using liquid crystals on nanostruc- tured photoreactive molecular thin films

Optical near-field excitations were investigated on the basis of molecular alignment control of liquid crystals (LCs) on an optically rewritable nanostructure of photoreactive molecular thin films. Twisted nematic (TN) cells of LC molecules were constructed utilizing ITO substrates with 260 nm gratings of an azobenzene molecular thin film, fabricated using standing evanescent waves. The polarization changes of light transmitted through the TN cells, which were due to the alignment changes of LC molecules locally rubbed by the azobenzene nanogratings, were observed. Furthermore, we demonstrated local plasmon excitation of Au nanowires deposited on the azobenzene nanogratings using oblique vacuum evaporation, a phenomenon that produced strong anti-optical absorption spectra. The modulation of the local plasmon resonance in metallic nanowires decorated with LC molecules was confirmed.
