像木星和土星这样的冷巨行星对类地行星的形成和宜居性起到了关键作用,因此,对像太阳系这样具有多个冷巨行星的系统的搜寻具有重要意义.Kepler以及TEss (Transiting Exoplanet survey satellite)太空望远镜成功地通过凌星的方法发现了大量短周期行星,然而这些巡天项目的观测基线不足以发现更长周期的行星.为此,天语计划将部署两台1m望远镜(天语一号和天语二号),用于结合天语和其他计划的数据通过凌星法来发现冷巨行星及其他行星,并最终发现类太阳系.天语一号具有约10平方度的视场以及高速CMOs (complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor)科学相机,将对超过1000万颗恒星每小时进行一次高精度测光采样,并通过天语二号的多波段测光、光谱仪以及高分辨率成像对天语一号发现的候选行星进行确认.天语望远镜将放置于海拔约4000m的中国青海冷湖,是目前中国境内最好观测台址之一.天语对亮于14等星的测光精度为0.1%,对亮于18等星的测光精度优于1%,天语预计在5yr内将在类太阳周期发现超过300颗凌星行星,其中包括约17颗冷巨行星.基于系统轨道共面以及孪生地球发生率为10%的假设,天语预计将发现1-2个类太阳系,并可被未来的地球2.0计划所证实.此外,天语还将通过多种巡天观测模式测量从亚秒到周时标的光变,探测不同时标的时域现象,包括超新星早期光变、稀有变星和双星、潮汐瓦解事件、Be星、彗星活动以及系外小行星等.这些发现不仅将深化我们对宇宙的理解,还将为公众科学和科普提供重要平台.

The last decades have represented an important season in the re-conceptualization of brain plasticity,especially in extending the concept at events occurring beyond the developmental stage and in demonstrating the profound impact of these changes on so-called spontaneous recovery after central nervous system(CNs)*** study of the cellular,molecular,functional and structural mechanisms involved in brain plasticity has clearly emphasized the multitude of players engaged in this phenomenon,leading to the conceptualization that non-neuronal cells and non-neuronal mechanisms intervene in these changes and orchestrate some of the responses observed(Werner and stevens,2015).Among the different non-neuronal cells and non-neuronal substrates of injury-induced plasticity is becoming increasingly recognized that microglia drive a series of intrinsic CNs responses after damage(sandvig et al.,2018;Bisicchia et al.,2019).

structural,optical and magnetic properties are reported for new synthesized perovskite ***_(0.3)La_(0.7)Ti_(0.3)Fe_(0.7)O_(3) and Ba_(0.1)La_(0.9)Ti_(0.1)Fe_(0.9)O_(3) compositions were prepared via solid state reaction.X-ray analysis confirms that both compositions show feature of perovskite *** refinement method was used to confirm the phase formation and investigate the structure and space *** study demonstrates the formation of orthorhombic structure with Pnma space group for Ba_(0.3)La_(0.7)Ti_(0.3)Fe_(0.7)O_(3) while the composition Ba_(0.1)La_(0.9)Ti_(0.1)Fe_(0.9)O_(3) structure adopts Pbnm ***–vis spectroscopy measurements show very broad and intense UV–visible light absorption,the estimated band gap ranges between 2.07 and 2.15 *** measurements were carried out for the compositions Ba_(0.3)La_(0.7)Ti_(0.3)Fe_(0.7)O_(3) and Ba_(0.1)La_(0.9)Ti_(0.1)Fe_(0.9)O_(3).The hysteresis loops of both samples at 300 and 10 K show a strong ferromagnetic *** temperature dependent magnetization at 0.05 T under field-cooled(FC)and zero field cooled(ZFC)modes shows magnetic frustration or spin glass-like behavior.

Ten palm leaf impressions are documented from the latest Maastrichtian(late Cretaceous) to early Danian(earliest Paleocene) sediments(K-Pg,c.66-64 Ma) of the Mandla Lobe of the Deccan Intertrappean Beds,Madhya Pradesh,central *** palmate leaf shape along with a definite wellpreserved costa support their placement in the subfamily Coryphoideae of the family *** place all recovered palm leaf specimens in the fossil genus sabalites,report seven species of coryphoid palms and describe two new species namely,sabalities umariaensis *** sabalites ghughuaensis *** fossils indicate that coryphoid palms were highly diverse in central India by the latest *** and earlier reported coryphoid palm fossils from the same locality indicate that they experienced a warm and humid tropical environment during the time of *** discoveries confirm the presence of a diversity of Coryphoideae in Gondwana prior to the India-Eurasia collision and provide information about coryphoid biogeographical history over geological *** on megafossil remains,we trace coryphoid palm migration pathways from India to mainland southeast(sE) Asia and other parts of Asia after the docking of the Indian subcontinent with Eurasia early in the Paleogene.

Epigenetic mechanisms are potential mediators of the physiological response to abuse by altering the genetic predisposition of the cellular response to the environment,leading to changes in the regulation of multiple organ *** study was established to review the epigenetic mechanisms associated with childhood abuse as well as the long-term deter-minants that these epigenetic changes may have on future *** retrospectively ana-lysed the effect of exposure to adverse childhood experiences(ACEs,specifically those relating to childhood maltreatment)between the ages of 0 and 16years on the human epi-genome,as well as possible clinical *** meeting inclusion and exclusion crite-ria,36 articles were included in this systematic *** of these studies did not find a relationship between childhood maltreatment and DNA *** the remaining 28 studies,nine were genome-wide association studies,whereas the rest were candidate gene studies,mainly studying effects on neuroendocrine,serotoninergic and immunoregulatory ***-analysis of correlation coefficients from candidate gene studies estimated an association of childhood adversity and DNA methylation variation at r=0.291(Psis of two epigenome-wide association studies(EWAss)identified 44 differen-tially methylated CpG *** conclusion,childhood maltreatment may mediate epigenetic mechanisms through DNA methylation,thereby affecting physiological responses and con-ferring a predisposition to an increased risk for psychopathology and forensic *** evidence for somatic illnesses is not yet available.

Electrical tomography(ET) imaging,developed in the 1980s,has attracted much industrial and research attentions owing to its low cost,quick response,lack of radiation exposure,and non-intrusiveness compared to other tomography ***,to date applications thereof have been limited owing to its low imaging *** issue with space resolution in existing ET imaging reconstruction methods is that they employ a mathematical approach based on an ill-posed equation with inconsistent *** this paper,we propose a novel ET imaging method based on a data-driven *** recovering the cluster structures hidden in the ET imaging process followed by the application of a fuzzy clustering algorithm to identify the cluster structures,there is no need to study the ill-posed mathematical *** proposed method has been tested by means of three experiments,including image reconstructions of a human lung image and plastic rode shape,as well as two simulations executed on the Comsol *** results show that the proposed method can reconstruct ET images with much higher space resolution more quickly than the existing algorithms.

streams and rivers, particularly smaller ones, often do not maintain steady flow rates for long enough to reach equilibrium conditions for sediment transport and bed topography. In particular, streams in small watersheds may be subject to rapidly changing hydrographs, and relict bedforms from previous high flows can cause further disequilibrium that complicates the prediction of sediment transport rates. In order to advance the understanding of how bedforms respond to rapid changes in flow rate, a series of flume experiments were performed where the flow was reduced rapidly from equilibrium *** transport rates and bed elevation data across the flume and over a 15-meter-long test section were collected during the experiments to allow detailed examination of evolving bedform dynamics. It was found that relict bedforms stopped moving completely after flow reductions, and the mode of sediment transport was shifted to small bedforms that arose rapidly over dune stoss sections throughout the test section. The changes in sediment transport with time as the sand bed adjusted to the new flow rate was found to agree with predictions based on the relations proposed in Wren et al.(2020). Wavelet analysis is used to visualize changes in length and amplitude scales during the bed transition process.

We sought to examine how the impact of revocable behavioral interventions,e.g.,shelterin-place,varies throughout an epidemic,as well as the role that the proportion of susceptible individuals had on an intervention's *** estimated the theoretical impacts of start day,length,and intensity of interventions on disease transmission and illustrated them on COVID-19 dynamics inWake County,North Carolina,to inform how interventions can be most *** used a susceptible,Exposed,Infectious,and Recovered(sEIR)model to estimate epidemic curves with modifications to the disease transmission parameter(β).We designed modifications to simulate events likely to increase transmission(e.g.,long weekends,holiday seasons)or behavioral interventions likely to decrease it(e.g.,shelter-in-place,masking).We compared the resultant curves'shape,timing,and cumulative case count to baseline and across other modified *** led to changes in COVID-19 dynamics,including moving the peak's location,height,and *** proportion susceptible,at the start day,strongly influenced their *** interventions shifted the curve,while interventions near the peak modified shape and case *** some scenarios,in which the transmission parameter was decreased,the final cumulative count increased over *** showed that the timing of revocable interventions has a strong impact on their *** same intervention applied at different time points,corresponding to different proportions of susceptibility,resulted in qualitatively differential *** estimation of the proportion susceptible is critical for understanding an intervention's *** findings presented here provide evidence of the importance of estimating the proportion of the population that is susceptible when predicting the impact of behavioral infection control *** emphasis should be placed on the estimation of this epidemic component in intervention design and decision-makin
