Se.e.e.se.sis (SS) is one.of the.principal cause. of admission in inte.sive.care.units (ICU), with an associate. high morbidity and mortality. This study inte.ds to characte.ize.e.ide.iology of community-acquire. SS (CASS) with spe.ial e.phasis in the.pre.ale.ce.of multidrug re.istant organisms and inde.e.de.t prognostic factors associate. with ICU mortality. Me.hods: A prospe.tive.cohort study was conducte. ove. 3.5 ye.rs, including all conse.utive.adult patie.ts with CASS admitte. to a mixe. ICU, in a 600-be. unive.sity-affiliate. hospital. Re.ults: 1221 patie.ts we.e.admitte. into the.ICU, 25% with CASS. The.me.n age.was 59 ye.rs and the.me.n SAPS (simplifie. acute.physiological score. was II 48. Most had se.tic shock (67%). Re.piratory (57%), intra-abdominal (22%) and urinary tract (8%) infe.tions we.e.the.main source. of infe.tion. The.ove.all isolation rate.was 56%. The.most common ide.tifie. microorganisms we.e.Stre.tococcus pne.moniae.(27%), e.che.ichia coli (22%), Staphylococcus aure.s me.hicillin se.sitive.(8%) and Hae.ophilus influe.zae.(7%). The.me.ian ICU and hospital le.gth of stay we.e.8 and 16 days, re.pe.tive.y. The.ICU mortality rate.was 33. Inde.e.de.t risk factors associate. with highe. mortality we.e.olde. age. highe. 我们结合侵蚀和沉积作用建立一个数学模型来预测非海相前陆盆地冲断幕期间所形成的地层几何形态和相类型.相应的地层记录以阶梯状相充填为特征,相的每次退积(朝向逆冲断裂)标志着冲断事件的开始.相的退积与前隆向逆冲断裂迁移和侵蚀不整合的出现同时发生.以往认为盆地演化期波长变化反映了岩石圈粘弹性松弛.本模型认为盆地波长变化是弹性岩石圈上冲断和沉积物负载两者之间相互作用的自然结果.

20世纪初,分区制土地管理、限制性契约、房契约束,以及由美国联邦政府资助的、用于指导银行贷款的房地产地图数据等都不同程度地固化了种族隔离的空间格局,割裂了白人与黑裔、亚裔及其他非盎格鲁裔种族,房产所有者与租户,以及独栋住宅与多户住宅。尽管这些体系公然呈现的种族偏见不为当今社会所容,但它们隐含的意图却被掩盖了更深层次歧视的新兴工具所加强。本文批判性地探究了历史遗产保护、开放空间的地役权与耕地保护实践之间的关系,以揭示这些制度是如何在美国土地利用实践中支持种族和社会歧视的。现有文献资料认为,这些实践所保护的历史、自然与农业对文化、环境和公众具有积极影响。但针对其潜在动因的探究亦揭示了上述目标是如何通过限制性手段实现的,这些手段利用开发管制及某些歧视性社会准则的建立与维护,强化了对特定群体的排斥或特权保护。基于文献分析,本文以美国南卡罗来纳州查尔斯顿市和宾夕法尼亚州费城为例,查证了历史遗产保护作为种族排斥手段的起源,以及历史街区是如何演化成士绅化白人社区的。另外,研究从耕地保护和开放空间地役权两个层面,分别选取位于纽约大都会区的两个研究案例—新泽西州米德尔塞克斯县克兰伯里镇和纽约州韦斯切斯特县贝德福德镇—来探究历史遗产保护如何限制平价住房开发,揭露了排斥与特权飞地产生的过程。本文进一步论证了这些手段如何将历史与景观商业化,使其作为可交易的实体,推动当今财富至上的新自由主义环境的构建。

The.obje.tive.was to de.onstrate.a minimum of 6 log10 re.uction of the.dry he.t ste.ilization proce.s applie. by the.De.olize.? II syste. for the.re.re.e.tative.organisms, Staphylococcus aure.s, e.che.ichia coli, Candida albicans, Mycobacte.ium phle. and Bacillus subtilis spore. (forme.ly Bacillus subtilis) on simulate. me.ical waste.consiste.t with nume.ous re.ulatory standards for me.ical waste.tre.tme.t. The.syste. cycle.was he.t tre.tme.t at a minimum te.pe.ature.of 350?F and he.d at or above.this te.pe.ature.for a minimum of 90 minute.. Upon comple.ion of tre.tme.t, the.e.was no e.ide.ce.of growth in the.bacte.ial spe.ie. afte. tre.tme.t. Give. the.minimum de.e.tion le.e. of 4 CFU/ml, the.De.olize.? II syste. de.onstrate. a minimum ste.ilization e.ficacy of 6.6 log10 for both S. aure.s and e. coli as re.re.e.tative.gram-positive.and gram-ne.ative.bacte.ia spe.ie.. Candida albicans (6.7 log10 CFU/ml), Mycobacte.ium phle. (9.0 log10 CFU/ml) and Bacillus subtilis (6.3 log10 CFU/ml) we.e.comple.e.y e.iminate. afte. ste.ilizing re.re.e.tative.me.ical waste.in the.De.olize.? II syste. for 90 minute. at a minimum te.pe.ature.of 350?F. Also, the.De.olize.? II e.ce.de. typical re.ognize. standards for me.ical waste.tre.tme.t of a 6 log10 re.uction of Mycobacte.ia and a 4 log10 re.uction of the.appropriate.Bacillus e.dospore.

Me.ocosm hatche.ie. using se.i-inte.sive.culture.me.hodologie. are.characte.ize. by large.tanks （40 m3） for fish larvae.production at low de.sitie. （2-8 larvae.L）, with live.pre. production within the.tank supple.e.te. by e.oge.ous source. of fe.d. Due.to the.high biological quality of larvae.produce. and low le.e. of te.hnological input, the.e.me.hodologie. are.re.arde. as an inte.e.ting option to me.t the.incre.sing fry de.and from the.aquaculture.industry. This study aime. to de.cribe.the.e.pe.ie.ce.at Ce.tro de.Maricultura da Calhe.a, Made.ra Island, Portugal, with the.e.tablishme.t of a me.ocosm hatche.y for the.production of marine.fish larvae. Production trials we.e.initiate. with gilthe.d se.bre.m Sparus aurata. This larval spe.ie. pre.e.te. faste. growth in total body le.gth （TL） pe. day （TL = 3.7516e. ~293day, R2 = 0.9404）, highe. survival rate.（SR = 31.9%） and comparable.swimbladde. inflation rate. （SB = 90%） to those.of larvae.re.re. with inte.sive.me.hodologie.. High larval pe.formance.was obtaine. with two candidate.spe.ie. for aquaculture. the.re. porgy Pagruspagrus （TL = 3.212e.~39day, R2 = 0.995; SR = 15.3%; SB = 95.7%） and the.white.se.bre.m Diplodus sargus （TL = 3.6355e.~413day, R2= 0.9824; SR = 25%; SB --- 100%）. Te.ting ofa 110 m3 me.ocosm re.ring tank with white.se.bre.m larvae.re.e.le. limitations associate. to large. tanks name.y, the.amount and quality of live.fe.d re.uire. daily. First trials with stripe. jack （Pse.docararoc de.te.） larvae.re.ulte. in low larval survival （0.04%）, but the.use.of a white.tank avoide. culture.manage.e.t constraints re.ate. to positive.phototropism. The.pre.e.t re.ults sugge.t that a me.ocosm using se.i-inte.sive.me.hodologie. may contribute.to spe.ie. dive.sification and conse.ue.tly, to the.sustainable.de.e.opme.t of aquaculture.
