BPaL/BpaLM regimen:A bright future for drug-resistant tuberculosis

Indonesia is one of the countries with the highest burden of tuberculosis and drug-resistant tuberculosis(DR-TB)across the *** on data from the World Health Organization(WHO)Global TB Report 2023,it is estimated that there are 10000 cases of DR-TB in ***,a novel antitubercular drug,has been implemented to treat DR-TB *** was administered either a shorter(9 months)or individualized treatment regimen(18 months).However,long treatment duration with various adverse events affects patient ***,a short treatment with less medication is urgently *** 2022,the WHO announced an alternative regimen-bedaquiline,pretomanid,linezolid,and moxifloxacin(BPaLM)to treat DR-TB patients for six months without resistance to fluoroquinolones[1].This recommendation is based on previous clinical trials of TB,Zenix TB,and *** introduction of BPaL and BPaLM provided a bright future for treating DR-TB patients.

本文运用引力模型理论,分析了中国与印尼之间的双边贸易流量。此次研究使用了中国与包括印尼在内的35位贸易伙伴进行国际贸易的面板数据。该数据取自世界银行和中华人民共和国国家统计局于2010年至2015年期间的统计结果。研究的主要结果表明,双边贸易流量作为一个定性变,受到中国的GDP、伙伴国的GDP、距离和自由贸易协定的影响。然而,公共语言并没有对贸易流量造成影响,这是因为那些不会用汉语进行交流的国家,仍然可以用英语这种全球性的语言进行交流。此外,研究结果将被指定用于得出结论,并为中国和印尼之间不断增加的贸易额提出建议,从而使国家的经济发展增长。根据引力模型的观点,中国和印尼仍然可以挖掘更多的贸易潜力,以提高两国之间的贸易价值。为了维护和发展两国未来的贸易关系,一些影响贸易的因素或变量也可以列入考虑范围之内。

E-commerce has been increasing rapidly and will obviously be more popular in the future. The growth of internet is believed to have given an impact on e-commerce’s growth in China because approximately thirty percent of Chinese alter to be active internet users. The trend is pointed out to the increase of e- commerce transaction value. This research aims to provide an insight to the Chinese e-commerce market by performing a forecast of internet users. Age, gender, and income, as part of demographic profiles, are selected since they are considered to positively influence the internet user’s online activity. Furthermore, this research also provides an analysis of guidelines for companies that want to enter the China e-commerce market. For the purpose of this research, time series analysis using ARIMA model will be used as the research method. Overall, findings assert Chinese internet users seem to grow rapidly. Male users are still predicted to the dominate market although, surprisingly, the result shows that male internet users are to go down gradually by 2015. In addition, the result shows that internet users who have high income are increasing. Therefore, it is indicated that luxury products become potential products to be marketed. Considering the overall phenomenon, it is likely that China will still continue to be a prospective e-commerce market in the future.

Implementing Virtual Reality Environment for Bicycling in an Eco-Campus Application

This paper reviews virtual reality interface, application and design concept in relation with our experience in implementing a virtual bicycling environment application of the University of Indonesia Green Eco-campus. The implementation of the Virtual Reality VR used 3D-Games Studio with Lite-C software. The authors also experiment with the use of a VR device, i.e. 3D E-Dimensional wireless goggle to improve the feel of presence for the user of our application. The authors created the original elements of UI campus environment, such as, buildings, trees, campus buses, cars, and bike tracks, as well as obstacle in the pathways into 3D virtual shape that resembles the real UI campus environment. The bicycle movement, camera perceptions, and object collision handling have also been implemented. Our application is subsequently tested by the users in terms of the general object condition, user＇s respond to the virtual reality environment and the future development. Some result of implementing the same environment using Alice has also been shown.
