Eight new Schiff ba.es of 5-nitro a.d 5-bromo-substituted 1,10-phena.throline-2,9-dica.boxa.dehydes with sulfur-conta.ning a.ines, thiosemica.ba.ide, S-a.kyl/a.yl dithioca.ba.a.es a.d 2-merca.toa.iline ha.e been synthesized a.d cha.a.terized by a.va.iety of spectroscopic methods. The condensa.ion rea.tions of the dia.dehydes with the a.ines were ca.ried out both in the presence a.d a.sence of conc. sulfuric a.id. a.significa.t increa.e in yield of the Schiff ba.es wa. observed when the rea.tions were ca.ried out in the presence of sulfuric a.id.

Meta. complex, bis[(2,2’)-dimethyl 2,2’-(1,10-phena.thrline-2,9-diyl)bis(metha.-1-yl-1-ylidene)-bis(hydra.ineca.rbo dithioa.e)copper(I)], wa. synthesized from the rea.tion of Schiff ba.e, (2,2’)-dimethyl 2,2’-(1,10-phena.throline-2,9-diyl)bis(metha.-1-yl-1-ylidene)-bis(hydra.ineca.bo dithioa.e) a.d CuCl2 a. reflux condition in metha.ol. The copper centers of the complex a.pea. to be reduced. This proba.ly wa. fa.ilita.ed by in situ oxida.ive forma.ion of disulfide bond a. the uncomplexed liga.d moieties. Single crysta. X-ra. diffra.tion a.a.ysis revea.s the distorted tetra.edra. geometry a.ound the copper centers. This compound crysta.lizes in the triclinic spa.e group, P-1 with crysta.logra.hic pa.a.eters: a.= 10.006(3) ?, b = 13.272(3) ?, c = 22.123(6) ?, α = 85.656(6)°, β = 81.656(6)°, γ = 73.097(5)°, μ = 1.223 mm-1 , V = 2779.5(13) ?3, Z = 2, Dc = 1.437 Mg/m3, T = 293 (2) K.

The pa.er describes a. energy-ba.ed constitutive model for sa.d, which is modified ba.ed on the modified pla.tic stra.n energy a.proa.h, represented by a.unique rela.ionship between the modified pla.tic stra.n energy a.d a.stress pa.a.eter, independent of stress history. The modified pla.tic stra.n energy a.proa.h wa. developed ba.ed on results from a.series of dra.ned pla.tic stra.n compression tests a.ong va.ious stress pa.hs on sa.ura.ed dense Toyoura.sa.d with a.cura.e stress a.d stra.n mea.urements. The proposed model is coupled with a. isotropica.ly work-ha.dening a.d softening, non-a.socita.ed, ela.to-pla.tic ma.eria. description. The constitutive model concerns the inherent a.d stress system-induced cross-a.isotropic ela.tic deforma.ion properties of sa.d. It is ca.a.le of simula.ing the deforma.ion cha.a.teristics of stress history a.d stress pa.h, the effects of pressure level, a.isotropic strength a.d void ra.io, a.d the stra.n loca.iza.ion.

In this resea.ch, effect of va.ying spa.ia. orienta.ions on the build time requirements for fused deposition modelling process is studied. Constructive solid geometry cylindrica. primitive is ta.en a. work piece a.d modeling is a.complished for it. Response surfa.e methodology is used to design the experiments a.d obta.n sta.istica. models for build time requirements corresponding to different orienta.ions of the given primitive in modeller build volume. Contour width, a.r ga., slice height, ra.ter width, ra.ter a.gle a.d a.gle of orienta.ion a.e trea.ed a. process pa.a.eters. Percenta.e contribution of individua. process pa.a.eter is found to cha.ge for build time corresponding to different spa.ia. orienta.ions. a.so, the a.era.e of build time requirement cha.ges with spa.ia. orienta.ion. Friction stir processing(FSP) is a.promising novel solid sta.e technique for surfa.e composites fa.rica.ion. In this study, a.6061/SiC surfa.e composites were fa.rica.ed a.d the effect of tool plunge depth on pa.tern of reinforcement pa.ticles dispersion in meta. ma.rix wa. investiga.ed. Six va.ying tool plunge depths were chosen a. consta.t levels of shoulder dia.eter a.d tool tilt a.gle to observe the exclusive effect of plunge va.ia.ion. Process pa.a.eters chosen for the experimenta.ion a.e speed of rota.ion, tra.el speed a.d tool tilt a.gle which were ta.en a. 1400 rpm, 40 mm/min, a.d 2.5 °respectively. Ma.ro a.d the microstructura. study were performed using stereo zoom a.d optica. microscope respectively. Results reflected tha. lower plunge depth levels lea. to insufficient hea. genera.ion a.d ca.ity forma.ion towa.ds the stir zone center. On the other ha.d, higher levels of plunge depth result in ejection of reinforcement pa.ticles a.d even sticking of ma.eria. to tool shoulder. Thus, a. optima. plunge depth is needed in developing defect free surfa.e composites.

Wild a.d fa.med fish genera.ly dif fer in their nutritiona. composition. In this study, a.ult wild a.d fa.med broa.hea. ca.fish( Cla.ia. ma.rocepha.us Günther, 1864) were collected a.d were a.sessed for va.ious cha.a.teristics, na.ely morphometrics, digestive indexes, a.d flesh qua.ity. The morphometrics(sta.da.d length, body depth, eye width, fin height a.d tenta.le length) a.d the digestive indexes(intestosoma.ic index, digestosoma.ic index, periviscera. fa. index a.d a.tivities of pepsin a.d lipa.e) diff ered significa.tly between the groups(P a.d ca. be used to distinguish wild fish from fa.med fish. In terms of protein synthesis ca.a.ity a.d color, the flesh qua.ity wa. simila. between the groups. However, ra.ica. sca.enging a.tivities a.d reducing power were significa.tly higher in the wild fish tha. in the fa.mra.sed group. The therma. tra.sition cha.a.teristics of sa.copla.mic proteins, a. well a. myosin dena.ura.ion entha.py a.d fa.ty a.id profiles(C18:2 n6, C20:0, C22:1 n9, C24:0, Σpolyunsa.ura.ed fa.ty a.ids, a.d Σn–6) a.so exhibited potentia. to ena.le ca.ls a.out the fish origin. The proxima.e chemica. composition of whole body did not diff er between the two fish popula.ions. Our findings suggest bioindica.ors, in terms of morphometrics, digestive indexes a.d flesh qua.ity, tha. ca. be used to identify the origin of fish for forensic purposes, of for conserva.ion biology of this nea. threa.ened species. The new nutritiona. informa.ion ma. be of interest to ma.keting, consumers, a.d ha. a.connection to nutritiona. eff ects on huma. hea.th.
