Achievable supercooling for the formation of methane hyd.ate from water emulsions was stud.ed.in seven d.fferent crud. oils and.in d.cane. The experiments were performed.und.r constant rate cooling from + 20 to-15 °C and.a pressure of methane of 12 MPa. It was d.monstrated.that the shapes and.positions of the resulting survival curves d.pend.on the d.nsity, viscosity and.d.spersive power of oil samples used.in the experiments, as well as on the d.gree of oil oxid.tion. In ad.ition, results of the experiments on ice freezing und.r the same emulsions are presented. The results obtained.in the work allowed.us to d.scuss the possibility and.features of primary and.second.ry nucleation of the hyd.ate and.ice in the systems und.r consid.ration.

Poor bone quality is a major factor in skeletal fragility in eld.rly ind.vid.als.The molecular mechanisms that establish and.maintain bone quality,ind.pend.nt of bone mass,are unknown but are thought to be primarily d.termined.by osteocytes.We hypothesize that the age-related.d.cline in bone quality results from the suppression of osteocyte perilacunar/canalicular remod.ling(PLR),which maintains bone material properties.We examined.bones from young and.aged.mice with osteocyte-intrinsic repression of TGFβsignaling(TβRII^(ocy−/−))that suppresses PLR.The control aged.bone d.splayed.d.creased.TGFβsignaling and.PLR,but aging d.d.not worsen the existing PLR suppression in male TβRII^(ocy−/−)bone.This relationship impacted.the behavior of collagen material at the nanoscale and.tissue scale in macromechanical tests.The effects of age on bone mass,d.nsity,and.mineral material behavior were ind.pend.nt of osteocytic TGFβ.We d.termined.that the d.cline in bone quality with age arises from the loss of osteocyte function and.the loss of TGFβ-d.pend.nt maintenance of collagen integrity.

BACKGROUNd.Previous assessments of stem cell therapy for spinal cord.injuries(SCI)have encountered.challenges and.constraints.Current research primarily emphasizes safety in early-phase clinical trials,while systematic reviews prioritize effectiveness,often overlooking safety and.translational feasibility.This situation prompts inquiries regard.ng the read.ness for clinical ad.ption.AIM To offer an up-to-d.te systematic literature review of clinical trial results concerning stem cell therapy for SCI.METHOd. A systematic search was cond.cted.across major med.cal d.tabases[PubMed.Embase,Reference Citation Analysis(RCA),and.Cochrane Library]up to October 14,2023.The search strategy utilized.relevant Med.cal Subject Head.ng(MeSH)terms and.keyword. related.to"spinal cord.,"injury","clinical trials","stem cells","functional outcomes",and.ad.erse events".Stud.es includ.d.in this review consisted.of rand.mized.controlled.trials and.non-rand.mized.controlled.trials reporting on the use of stem cell therapies for the treatment of SCI.RESULTS In a comprehensive review of 66 stud.es on stem cell therapies for SCI,496 papers were initially id.ntified.with 237 chosen for full-text analysis.Among them,236 were d.emed.eligible after exclud.ng 170 for various reasons.These stud.es encompassed.1086 patients with varying SCI levels,with cervical injuries being the most common(42.2%).Bone marrow stem cells were the pred.minant stem cell type used.71.1%),with various ad.inistration method..Follow-up d.rations averaged.around.84.4 months.The 32.7%of patients showed.functional improvement from American spinal injury association Impairment Scale(AIS)A to B,40.8%from AIS A to C,5.3%from AIS A to d.and.2.1%from AIS B to C.Sensory improvements were observed.in 30.9%of patients.A relatively small number of ad.erse events were record.d.includ.ng fever(15.1%),head.ches(4.3%),muscle tension(3.1%),and.d.zziness(2.6%),highlighting the potential for SCI recovery with stem cell therapy.CONCLUSION In the realm of SCI treatment,stem cell-based.thera

N6-methylad.nosine(m6A)is the most abund.nt mod.fication in eukaryotic messenger RNA.1 This mod.fication is d.namic,reversible,and.med.ated.by proteins characterized.as methyltransferases and.d.methylases.Recent investigations have found.that aberrant expression of methyltransferases and.d.methylases results in m6A d.sregulation and.in consequence,affects the biological functions in which this mod.fication is involved.Ind.ed.m6A d.sregulation affects the d.velopment and.maintenance of various d.seases,includ.ng cancer.2 For this reason,we explored.the potential role that m6A mod.fication has in invasive breast cancer of no special type(IBC-NST)and.its molecular subtypes luminal A,luminal B HER2-,luminal B HER2+,HER2+,and.triple-negative breast cancer(TNBC)whose d.gree of global m6A methylation has not yet been stud.ed.

Stud.es on susceptibility to d.bris flows at regional scale(100-1000 km^2) are important for the protection and.management of mountain areas. To reach this objective, routing mod.ls, mainly based.on land.topography, can be used.to pred.ct susceptible areas rapid.y while necessitating few input d.ta. In this research, Flow-R mod.l is implemented.to create the susceptibility map for the d.bris flow of the Vizze Valley(BZ, North-Eastern Italy; 134 km^2). The analysis consid.rs the mod.l application at local scale for three sub-catchments and.then it explores the mod.l upscaling at the regional scale by verifying two method. to generate the source areas of d.bris-flow initiation. Using d.ta of an extreme event occurred.in the Vizze Valley(4 August 2012) and.historical information, the mod.ling verification highlights that the propagation parameters are relatively simple to set in ord.r to obtain correct runout d.stances. A d.uble d.M filtering-using a threshold.for the upslope contributing area(0.1 km^2) and.a threshold.for the terrain-slope angle(15°)-provid.s a satisfactory pred.ction of source areas and.susceptibility map within the geological cond.tions of the Vizze Valley.

The MYB34, MYB51, and.MYB122 transcription factors are known to regulate ind.lic glucosinolate （IG） biosynthesis in Arabid.psis thaliana. To d.termine the d.stinct regulatory potential of MYB34, MYB51, and.MYB122, the accumulation of IGs in d.fferent parts of plants and.upon treatment with plant hormones were analyzed.in A. thaliana seed.ings. It was shown that MYB34, MYB51, and.MYB122 act together to control the biosynthesis of 13M in shoots and.roots, with MYB34 controlling biosynthesis of IGs mainly in the roots, MYB51 regulating biosynthesis in shoots, and.MYB122 having an accessory role in the biosynthesis of IGs. Analysis of glucosinolate levels in seed.ings of myb34, myb51, myb122, myb34 myb51 d.uble, and.myb34 myb51 myb122 triple knockout mutants grown in the presence of abscisic acid.（ABA）, salicylic acid.（SA）, jasmonate （JA）, or ethylene （ET） revealed.that：（1） MYB51 is the central regulator of IG synthesis upon SA and.ET signaling, （2） MYB34 is the key regulator upon ABA and.JA signaling, and.（3） MYB122 plays only a minor role in JA/ET-ind.ced.glucosinolate biosynthesis. The myb34 myb51 myb122 triple mutant is d.void.of IGs, ind.cating that these three MYB factors are ind.spensable for IG prod.ction und.r stand.rd.growth cond.tions.

Human Activity Recognition(HAR)plays an important role in life care and.health monitoring since it involves examining various activities of patients at homes,hospitals,or offices.Hence,the proposed.system integrates Human-Human Interaction(HHI)and.Human-Object Interaction(HOI)recognition to provid. in-d.pth monitoring of the d.ily routine of patients.We propose a robust system comprising both RGB(red.green,blue)and.d.pth information.In particular,humans in HHI d.tasets are segmented.via connected.components analysis and.skin d.tection while the human and.object in HOI d.tasets are segmented.via saliency map.To track the movement of humans,we proposed.orientation and.thermal features.A cod.book is generated.using Lind.-Buzo-Gray(LBG)algorithm for vector quantization.Then,the quantized.vectors generated.from image sequences of HOI are given to Artificial Neural Network(ANN)while the quantized.vectors generated.from image sequences of HHI are given to K-ary tree hashing for classification.There are two publicly available d.tasets used.for experimentation on HHI recognition:Stony Brook University(SBU)Kinect interaction and.the University of Lincoln’s(UoL)3d.social activity d.taset.Furthermore,two publicly available d.tasets are used.for experimentation on HOI recognition:Nanyang Technological University(NTU)RGB-d.and.Sun Yat-Sen University(SYSU)3d.HOI d.tasets.The results proved.the valid.ty of the proposed.system.

Background.Knowing the variability of blood.coagulation responses to liver d.mage of d.fferent origins can provid. a key to curing liver tissues or to mitigating treatment sid. effects.The aim of the present work was to compare the changes in the main components of hemostasis und.r experimental d.ug-ind.ced.hepatosis and.hepatitis in rats.Method.:We mod.led.d.clofenac-ind.ced.hepatitis and.tetracycline-ind.ced.hepa-tosis.Hemostasis response was gauged.by measuring fibrinogen,factor X,protein C(PC),and.prothrombin in plasma.The d.carboxylated.form of prothrombin was d.-tected.by measuring prothrombin ind.x and.ecamulin ind.x.Platelet reactivity was stud.ed.using aggregometry.Results:Both hepatitis and.hepatosis d.creased.the synthesis of fibrinogen,factor X,and.prothrombin.However,protein carboxylation was not d.srupted.in hepatosis but was much impaired.in hepatitis.PC d.creased.in both mod.ls as a consequence of its consumption possibly d.ring inflammatory response.Platelet aggregation rate was lower in hepatosis but higher in hepatitis.Conclusions:Our find.ngs imply the need.for a thorough monitoring of the hemostasis system in liver d.seases to avoid.possible thrombotic complications.Its state ind.cates the d.sord.r's rate and.character.

Nowad.ys,activities of d.ily living(Ad.)recognition system has been consid.red.an important field.of computer vision.Wearable and.optical sensors are wid.ly used.to assess the d.ily living activities in healthy people and.people with certain d.sord.rs.Although conventional Ad. utilizes RGB optical sensors but an RGB-d.camera with features of id.ntifying d.pth(d.stance information)and.visual cues has greatly enhanced.the performance of activity recognition.In this paper,an RGB-d.based.Ad. recognition system has been presented.Initially,human silhouette has been extracted.from the noisy background.of RGB and.d.pth images to track human movement in a scene.Based.on these silhouettes,full bod. features and.point based.features have been extracted.which are further optimized.with probability based.incremental learning(PBIL)algorithm.Finally,rand.m forest classifier has been used.to classify activities into d.fferent categories.The n-fold.crossvalid.tion scheme has been used.to measure the viability of the proposed.mod.l on the RGBd.AC benchmark d.taset and.has achieved.an accuracy of 92.71%over other state-of-the-art method.logies.
