Exosomes,the smallest extracellular vesicles,have gained significant attention as key mediators in intercellular communication,influencing both physiological and pathological processes,particularly in cancer progression.A recent review article by Wang et al was published in a timely manner to stimulate future research and facilitate practical developments for targeted treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma using exosomes,with a focus on the origin from which exosomes *** information about the mechanisms for delivering exosomes to specific cells is incorporated,the concept of targeted therapy for hepatocellular carcinoma using exosomes could be more comprehensively understood.

Status and challenges of global antimicrobial resistance control: A dialogue between Professors Yonghong Xiao and takeshi Nishijima

＜正＞The "Kune" , trimmed high hedge, is distributed along Edogawa-River of Chiba prefecture. The site of farmhouse has been banked because of prevention of floods. That is a type of landscape for the natural disaster prevention. It shows the feature of cultural landscape of this region. This study aims to find the types of form and composing trees of Kune. The site of the research （7 ha） is the agricultural and residential area with high-rise buildings where has been cultivated since 18th century as rice field. Before that time it had been marsh area along Edogawa-River. The tree species used for Kune are Mochinoki （llex integra）, Yabutsubaki （Camellia japonica） and Inumaki （Podocarpus macrophyllus）. By comparing with the other cases of Kune in Japan it will be found out the local feature of the Kune of this area.

Tree-ring width(RW),density,elemental com-position,and stable carbon and oxygen isotope(δ^(13)C,δ^(18)O)are widely used as proxies to assess climate change,ecology,and environmental pollution;however,a specific pretreat-ment has been needed for each ***,we developed a method by which each proxy can be measured in the same ***,the sample is polished for ring width *** obtaining the ring width data,the sample is cut to form a 1-mm-thick wood *** sample is then mounted in a vertical sample holder,and gradually scanned by an X-ray ***,the count rates of the fluorescent photons of elements(for chemical characteriza-tion)and a radiographic grayscale image(for wood density)are obtained,*** density and the element content are ***,cellulose is isolated from the 1-mm wood plate by removal of lignin,and *** producing this cellulose plate,cellulose subsamples are separated by knife under the microscope for inter-annual and intra-annual stable carbon and oxygen isotope(δ^(13)C,δ^(18)O)*** on this method,RW,density,elemental composition,δ^(13)C,and δ^(18)O can be measured from the same sample,which reduces sample amount and treatment time,and is helpful for multi-proxy comparison and combination research.

＜正＞This study focused on urban and its fringe areas of Japan,China and South Korea,and compared the organizations of civic activities for the purpose of conservation and creation of green space and related law system from the viewpoint of the partnership between public,private and voluntary sectors at wide spatial scale in urban and its fringe *** a result,it was cleared that green space conservation,development and management activities at wide spatial scale largely depends on not only administrative support but also civic or voluntary sector’s activities,and the collaborative relations between each citizen’ s group have been getting significant in both three *** will become important not only to make collaboration between municipalities and intermediate bodies （to connect municipalities and civic groups） but also to enhance horizontal collaboration between each civic group for developing wide- scale green space management by the partnership with public and private sectors in future.

Understanding aerosol-vegetation interactions is vital in ***,the interactions remain elusive partly due to the lack of suitable plant growth chamber ***,deposition of submicron particles on leaf surfaces is challenging due to its low deposition velocities compared to larger *** this work,we present a plant-growth chamber that was used to study the effect of sub-micron black carbon(BC)particles on the growth and photosynthesis of *** chamber system simultaneously enables the growth of multiple plants in pots and the deposition of submicron particles onto *** spraying methods assisted by ultrasonic and electrostatic forces were employed as aerosol generators to realize the particle *** flow regime inside the chamber was numeri-cally calculated to predict the transportation of aerosol particles,suggesting the optimal operating conditions of the *** gas-phase particle size distribution measurements showed that gener-ated BC particles were suspended in submicron diameter *** aerosol generators were examined in the chamber using three conductor and insulator substrates as a model of plant *** observations and spectroscopic analysis ascertained that submicron BC particles generated from our generators were deposited on all substrate *** the developed chamber system,systematic studies can be performed to advance the fundamental understanding of aerosol-vegetation interactions.

＜正＞Tree-shaded areas caused significantly cooling effect to support human activity in the tropics. The spatial variations of tree-shaded areas were classified into shade coverage of full shade （FS）, not-full shade （NFS） and no shade （NS）. This research aims to study the tree pattern of the tree-shaded areas in the green space of Yogyakarta, Indonesia and to analyze the relation to the spatial usage of human activity. The observation of human activity and interview were conducted to investigate the usage relation to tree pattern in tree-shaded areas. The six spots of observation were sketched and the tree patterns were analyzed. Human activities in the tree-shaded areas were movable in the morning and afternoon, and the tree-shaded area with full-shade was a centre of activity at noon. Canopy models of overlap-touch-spread and shade models of dark-slightly dark-light were considered to be a design concept for the tree-shaded areas of full shade-not full shade-no shade. The intensity of spatial usage of human activity in tree-shaded areas was identified in to intensive-semi intensive-not intensive.

Cell adhesion plays pivotal roles in the morphogenesis of multicellular *** cells form several types of cell-to-cell adhesion,including zonula occludens(tight junctions),zonula adhaerens(adherens junctions),and macula adhaerens(desmosomes).Although these adhesion complexes are basically observed only in epithelial cells,cadherins,which are the major cell adhesion molecules of adherens junctions,are expressed in both epithelial and non-epithelial tissues,including neural tissues(Kawauchi,2012).The cadherin superfamily consists of more than 100 members,but classic cadherins.
