The aim of the current research was to clone and to characterize the partial 66 kDa streptavidin-binding peptide(SBP)found in the germinated embryos of Pisum sativum *** pea(*** ***)embryos possess prominent 66 kDa SBPs that gradually disappeared after few hours of germination in germinated embryos,but not in the *** total RNA was isolated from embryos of *** but could not be isolated from the *** partial nucleotides sequences of 66 kDa SBPs of embryonic stalk(*** ***)were cloned and identified using pMOSBlue vector.66 kDa(SBP)gene from the embryos of *** *** possesses 327 bp having an open reading frame(ORF)region in a part of the gene that encoded for 108 amino *** showed similarity among 66 kDa SBPs *** ***,with *** seed biotinylated protein(SBP65)and *** sbp65a mRNA with DNA distance matrix between 0.0094 to ***-TOF mass spectrometry analysis of 66 kDa(SBP)proteins showed it had similar short peptides to 19 proteins found in different organisms,especially Convicilin precursor,and the seed biotinylated protein in *** alignment results of both nucleotide sequences and amino acid residues either from cloning or MALDI-TOF-MS showed differences with related species,especially *** mRNA was found in the cotyledons during seeds germination,which means no metabolic activities and this part may act only as food reservoirs for growing newly embryos.

Seizures are a common finding in patients with tuberculous meningitis(TBM),and associate with four times increased risk of death and neurological disability,especially in *** has been reported that brain inflammation,diffuse neuronal injury,and reactive gliosis may all contribute to the pathogenesis of seizures in *** seizure onset may be associated with meningeal irritation and cerebral oedema;while,the late seizures are usually due to infarction,hydrocephalus,tuberculoma and paradoxical ***,recurrent uncontrolled seizures can evolve to status epileptics resulting in an increased risk of chronic epilepsy and poor ***,this review aimed to assess the frequency of seizures in patients with TBM,and discuss the etiologies,mechanisms,and characteristics of seizures in ***,we have searched the literature to identify the prognostic factors for chronic epilepsy after TBM.

The effect of tramp elements in the steel was intensively studied. It was found that the solubility of tramp elements decreased as the temperature decreased under normal cooling conditions. The tramp elements （Cu, Pb, and Sn） diffused toward the grain boundaries, and intermetallic compounds or rich phases which have low melting points were formed, causing reduction in ductility and failure during the bending test. Rebars with Cu content which were left to air cooling after the last step showed drop in elongation, up to 32 %. On contrast, the samples with high per- centage of tramp elements （Cu, Pb, and Sn） in the billet, which were rolled and subjected to Tempcore process, did not show drop in elongation or failure in bending test （especially for rebar with diameter less than 32 mm）; however, copper must be less than 0.35 mass% to prevent the precipitation of Cu-rich zones of critical size in 32 mm. When quench- ing was applied, the tramp elements remained in the interstitial supersaturated solid solution positions inside the grains and would not have the chance to diffuse and form precipitates, hindering the copper precipitates from reac- hing the critical size necessary for impairing the properties. This would hinder the occurrence of the harmful effect of the tramp elements on the elongation or the hot shortness after rolling.

A Schiff base L [2-thiophenecarboxylic acid, 2-（2-pyridinylmethylene）hydrazide] with its lanthanide metal complexes was synthesized. These complexes were characterized by elemental analysis, molar conductivity measurements, spectral analysis（NMR, FT-IR, and UV-Vis）, luminescence and thermal gravimetric analysis. The Schiff base ligand was a tridentate chelate and coordinates to the central lanthanide ion with 1：2 metal：ligand ratio. The conductivity data showed a 1：1 electrolytic nature with a general formula [LnL_2（NO_3）_2]NO_3. The luminescence emission properties for Sm, Tb, and eu complexes were observed and showed that the ligand L could absorb and transfer energy to Sm（III）, Tb（III） and eu（III） ions. The complexes possessed a good antibacterial activity against different bacterial strains. In addition, the scavenging activity of the Ln（III） complexes on DPPH was concentration dependant and the complexes were significantly more efficient in quenching DPPH than the free Schiff base ligand.

Case-based surveillance measles data was defined according to World Health Organization （WHO） guidelines. A total of 511 measles cases were studied from 2011 to 2015 in Southern Darfur State, Sudan and 58.1% of cases were confirmed from Nyala city. About 43.4% of cases were males, 56.6% of cases were female, and 47.7% were children under five years old. Similarity, within February to June, the cases increased by 8.0% in children vaccinated through measles campaign, and 5.3% in children that used child vaccination card and 78.7% in unvaccinated one.

The aim of the current study is to review the medicinal properties of the plants found in Brunei Darussalam namely Litsea elliptica, Dillenia suffruticosa, Dillenia excelsa, Aidia racemosa, Vitex pinnata and Senna alata. The known phytochemical constituents of these plants and their ability to bring about a range of biological activities are included in this review. These plants have been used traditionally for a multitude of diseases and illnesses. There is a lot of untapped potential in these medicinal plants which could cure multiple diseases.

Semen parameters in men with spinal cord injury： changes and aetiology

Aim： To assess the changes in semen parameters in men with spinal cord injury （SCI） and the possible causes of these changes. Methods： The study included 45 subjects with SCI. Semen retrieval was done by masturbation （2）, vigorous prostatic massage （n = 13）, penile vibratory stimulation （n = 13） or electroejaculation （n = 17）. Results： The semen of men with SCI showed normal volume （2.3 ± 1.9 mL） and sperm count （85.0 × 10^6 ± 83.8 × 10^6/me） with decreased motility （11.6% ± 10.1%）, vitality （18.5 % ± 15.2%） and normal forms （17.5 ± 13.4%）, and pus cells has been increased （6.0 × 10^6 ± 8.2 × 10^6/mL）. Total （13.4 ± 9.9 vs. 7.1 ± 6.8） and progressive （4.4 ± 3.9 vs. 2.2 ± 2.1） motility were significantly higher in subjects with lower scrotal temperatures. There was no statistical significant difference between electroejaculation and penile vibratory stimulation groups as regards any of the semen parameters. Subjects＇ age, infrequent ejaculation, injury duration and hormonal profile showed no significant effect on semen parameters. Conclusion： The defining characteristics of the seminogram in men with SCI are normal volume and count with decreased sperm motility, vitality and normal forms, and the increased number of pus cells. The most acceptable cause of the deterioration of semen is elevated scrotal temperature.

OBJeCTIVeS： Single nucleotide polymorphisms （SNPs）, genetic background, and epigenetics play important roles in rheumatoid arthritis （RA）. These factors can be useful in RA diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment response evaluation, particularly with the growing trends in personalized medicine. Therefore, categorizing classic genes and SNPs in RA can present an appropriate guideline for RA management. DISCUSSION： Prognostic and diagnostic biomarkers play important roles in RA diagnosis and treatment. Categorizing SNPs is not an easy process yet, but selecting classic SNPs can be useful worldwide, according to basic similarities that exist in genomes. In this review, we compiled some of these RA-associated SNPs and biomarkers in a table, according to newly identified factors. The role of epigenetics in RA is undeniable; using epigenetic biomarkers like histone deacetylase （HDACs） can be useful in RA diagnosis and treatment, miRs such as miR-146a, miR-155, and miR-222 are useful in diagnosis and can be used in treatment by interfering with other factors＇ functions. Interleukins （ILs） seem to be good prognostic and diagnostic markers and can be targeted in RA treatment. CONCLUSION： Using multiple types of biomarkers, such as useful in RA management and treatment. PTPN22, HLA-DR genes, SNPs, and epigenetic biomarkers like HDACs can be polymorphisms, miRs, and HDACs are considerable in RA susceptibility; hence, they can be valuable biomarkers in future studies. This article gathered separate information from approximately 100 articles to present useful biomarkers and polymorphisms in one review.

This paper proposes two optimal designs of single photon avalanche diodes(SPADs) minimizing dark count rate(DCR). The first structure is introduced as p^+/pwell/nwell, in which a specific shallow pwell layer is added between p^+and nwell layers to decrease the electric field below a certain threshold. The simulation results show on average 19.7%and 8.5% reduction of p^+/nwell structure’s DCR comparing with similar previous structures in different operational excess bias and temperatures respectively. Moreover, a new structure is introduced as n+/nwell/pwell, in which a specific shallow nwell layer is added between n+and pwell layers to lower the electric field below a certain threshold. The simulation results show on average 29.2% and 5.5% decrement of p^+/nwell structure’s DCR comparing with similar previous structures in different operational excess bias and temperatures respectively. It is shown that in higher excess biases(about 6 volts), the n+/nwell/pwell structure is proper to be integrated as digital silicon photomultiplier(dSiPM) due to low DCR. On the other hand, the p^+/pwell/nwell structure is appropriate to be utilized in dSiPM in high temperatures(above 50?C) due to lower DCR value.
