salt stress is one of the major abiotic stress in ***,traditional approaches are not always efficient in conferring salt *** were conducted to understand the role of Trichoderma spp.(*** and ***)in growth,chlorophyll(Chl)synthesis,and proline accumulation of *** exposed to salinity *** were three salt stress(50,100,and 150 mM NaCl)lavels and three different Trichoderma inoculation ***,***,and ***+*** stress significantly declined the growth in terms of the shoot and root lengths;however,it was improved by the inoculation of Trichoderma *** inoculated with Trichoderma exhibited increased synthesis of pigments like chl a,chl b,carotenoids,and anthocyanins under normal *** was interesting to observe that such positive effects were maintained under salt-stressed conditions,as reflected by the amelioration of the salinity-mediated decline in growth,physiology and antioxidant *** inoculation of Trichoderma *** the synthesis of proline,glutathione,proteins and increased the relative water *** addition,Trichoderma inoculation increased membrane stability and reduced the generation of hydrogen ***,Trichoderma *** be exploited either individually or in combination to enhance the growth and physiology of *** under saline conditions.

Chemically Mediated Interactions between Grapevine, Aphid, Ladybird, and Ant in the Context of Insect Chemical Ecology

This study simpliﬁes the complex relationship among grapevine plants,aphids,ladybirds,and ants,which is essential for effective pest management and ecological *** study investigated the impact of aphid attacks and the presence of ants and ladybirds on the volatile compounds proﬁle released into the chemosphere of the community consisting of the common vine Vitis vinifera,the aphid Aphis illinoisensis,the ladybird Cocci-nella undecimpunctata-and the ant Tapinoma *** study aims to analyze the volatile compounds emitted by the grapevine and surrounding insects in response to these intricate *** extraction of volatile organic compounds(VOCs)was carried out using closed-loop stripping(CLs)and then analyzed via gas chromatography-mass spectrometry(GC-Ms)and principles coordinated analysis(PCA)was *** grapevine was exposed to different types and order of treatments,including non-infested,aphid-infested,aphid-infested with ant,aphid-infested with ladybird,and various combinations of ant and *** the aphid attack,the outcomes uncovered massive alterations in the volatile compound proﬁ*** grapevine displayed distinct emissions of germacrene D,an alcohol,and an alkene compared to non-infested *** characteristic VOC proﬁle was the share of infested grapes in the presence of ants,with benzene derivatives and sesquiterpenes dominating the *** coexistence of ladybirds with ants and aphids resulted in a dif-ferent volatile proﬁle characterized by elevated levels of aldehydes,ketones,α-farnesene,and its hydroxy *** was concluded that the emission of VOCs into the chemosphere of the grapevine communities varied qualitatively and quantitatively depending on the level of the relationship complexity within each community in response to the infestation of grapevines by aphids,the presence of ladybirds as natural predators,and the presence of ant as *** grapevine’s status-dependent compounds

Multi-Objective Multi-Dimensional Transportation: A Case study to the Flow of the Commodities of the Main Roads to Main Nodes in the North Western Coastal strip of Egypt

The distribution of merchandises and commodities from source towns to final destinations is a vital issue. The job of transporter’s decisions can be optimized by reformulating the transportation problem as generalization of the classical transportation problems. Multiobjective multi-dimensional transportation network is considered the extension of conventional two-dimensional transportation network and is convenient for dealing with transportation systems with multiple supply nodes, multiple demand nodes, as well as diverse modes of transportation demands or delivering multiple kinds of merchandises. In this study, we implement an improved Biogeography based optimization IBBO to the flow of the commodities of the main roads to main nodes in the North Western Coastal strip of Egypt, where there are four main roads and three nodes. The proposed algorithm incorporates the dominance criteria to handle multiple objective functions which enable the decision maker to cover all the Pareto frontier of the problem which have a large-scale size. Numerical results were reported in order to establish the real computational burden of the proposed algorithm and to assess its convergence performances for solving real geographical problem.

该综述的目的是描述儿童新型冠状病毒肺炎(coronavirus disease 2019,COVID-19)的临床特征,重点探讨儿童不易感染COVID-19的可能原因,以及儿童免疫反应是否比成人更好。为此,确定了以下3个研究问题:(1)为什么儿童COVID-19病例临床症状较成人轻?(2)儿童COVID-19患者的临床表现、诊断和治疗如何?(3)痊愈后病毒排毒期持续多久?我们检索了MEDLINE、Embase、Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials和Cochrane Database of Abstracts of Reviews of Effects等数据库,以及有英文翻译的国外文献。并从谷歌学术和美国微生物学会收集了其他的信息和数据。从收集的文献中,提取患者的年龄、合并症、治疗方法及对病死率、发病率影响的相关信息。该综述表明,与成人相比,儿童不易患COVID-19,若患上COVID-19,其症状较成人轻。儿童COVID-19发病率较低,病情较成人轻,这可能归因于许多理论和原因,然而所涉及的机制尚不完全清楚。

Liver dysfunction-related COVID-19:A narrative review

The coronavirus 2019 disease(COVID-19)is caused by a novel coronavirus,severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus *** disease was designated by the World Health Organization as a pandemic on March 11,2020,which is not seen *** are no classical features among the cases of the disease owing to the involvement of nearly all body tissues by the *** involvement is one of the characteristics of the COVID-19 *** are six possible mechanisms of such involvement:Direct virus injury,drug-induced effect,inflammatory cytokine storm,hypoxia-ischemic destruction,abnormalities in liver function tests,and pre-existing chronic liver *** abnormalities are seen commonly in the severe or critical stage of ***,these abnormalities determine the COVID-19 severity and carry a high rate of morbidity and *** elderly and patients with comorbidities like diabetes mellitus and hypertension are more vulnerable to liver *** issue that needs to be disclosed is the liver manifestations following the COVID-19 vaccination,such as autoimmune *** note,complete vaccination with third and fourth booster doses is necessary for patients with previous chronic liver diseases or those who have been subjected to liver *** review aims to explore the various aspects of liver dysfunction during the COVID-19 course regarding the epidemiological features,predisposing factors,pathophysiological mechanisms,hepatic manifestations due to COVID-19 or following vaccination,role of liver function tests in the assessment of COVID-19 severity,adverse effects of the therapeutic agents for the disease,and prognosis.
