Effect of thermal load on performance parameters of solar concentrating photovoltaic:High-efficiency solar cells

The triple-junction solar cell is designed to exploit a wide range of the solar spectrum *** triple-layers consisting of GaInP/GaInAs/Ge,it is monolithically stacked,leading to high conversion *** describe and understand it’s operating behaviour,this paper presents a performance analysis of a triple-junction solar cell,based on estimation modelling.A model was developed to determine the performance characteristic of the solar ***,the J-V curve is characterising the performance of solar cells,which used to optimise and improve the design of the *** has been discussed the effects of thermal load related to cell temperature increases on the cell’s operating performance *** temperature increases from 25 to 125℃ have resulted variances,which causes a significant decrease in efficiency to approximately−17%,open circuit voltage by−15%and fill factor by−4.5%.on the other hand,the current density slightly increased by+5.5%.Finally,ought to consider the thermal management while designing and developing solar CPV technology;therefore,it’s significant to improve cell efficiency and to maintain cell integrity from thermal damage.

Investigation of Particle Breakdown in the Production of Composite Magnesium Chloride and Zeolite Based Thermochemical Energy storage Materials

Composite thermochemical energy storage(TCEs)represents an exciting field of thermal energy storage which could address the issue of seasonal variance in renewable energy ***,there are open questions about their performance and the root cause of some observed *** researchers have observed the breakdown of particles in their production phase,and in their *** study seeks to investigate the underlying cause of this *** and EDX analysis have been conducted on MgCl2 impregnated 13X zeolite composites of differing diameters,as well as LiX *** was done in order to study the level of impregnation of salt into the zeolite matrix,as well as the effect this impregnation process has on the morphology of the *** was conducted using ImageJ software to study the effect of the impregnation process on the diameter of the *** has been found that a by weight impregnation concentration of magnesium chloride of 11.90%for the LiX zeolite,and 7.59%and 5.26%for the large diameter 13X zeolite and the small diameter 13X zeolite respectively has been *** has been found that the impregnation process significantly affects themorphology of 13X zeolite particles,causing large fissures to form,and eventually resulting in the previously found breakdown of these *** has been verified that a primary factor influencing the breakdown of the 13X zeolite particles is the efflorescence and sub-fluorescence phenomena,which leads to a build-up of crystals in the zeolite *** has also been found that prolonged impregnation times and the use of high concentration salt solutions in the soaking process can induce significant crystal growth which also leads to the breakdown of these *** demonstrate that LiX zeolite is the optimum host matrix choice in these *** results will allow for the design of more resilient composite TCEs particles.

A thin si nanowire network anode for high volumetric capacity and long-life lithium-ion batteries

silicon nanowires(si NWs)have been widely researched as the best alternative to graphite anodes for the next-generation of high-performance lithium-ion batteries(LIBs)owing to their high capacity and low discharge ***,growing binder-free si NW anodes with adequate mass loading and stable capacity is severely limited by the low surface area of planar current collectors(CCs),and is particularly challenging to achieve on standard pure-Cu substrates due to the ubiquitous formation of Li+inactive silicide ***,the growth of densely-interwoven In-seeded si NWs is facilitated by a thin-film of copper-silicide(Cs)network in situ grown on a Cu-foil,allowing for a thin active NW layer(oading(≈1.04 mg/cm^(2))binder-free electrode *** electrode exhibits an average Coulombic efficiency(CE)of>99.6%and stable performance for>900 cycles with≈88.7%capacity *** significantly,it delivers a volumetric capacity of≈1086.1 m A h/cm^(3)at *** full-cell versus lithium manganese oxide(LMo)cathode delivers a capacity of≈1177.1 m A h/g at 1C with a stable rate *** electrode architecture represents significant advances toward the development of binder-free si NW electrodes for LIB application.
