In this study,Mg-based composites,by the addition of ZnO,Ca_(2)ZnSi_(2)O_(7),Ca_(2)MgSi_(2)O_(7),and CaSiO_(3)as bioactive agents,were fabricated using friction stir *** microstructure and in vitro assessment of bioactivity,biodegradation rate,and corrosion behavior of the resultant composites were investigated in simulated body fluid(SBF).The results showed that during the immersion of composites in SBF for 28 d,due to the release of Ca^(2+)and PO_(4)^(3-)ions,hydroxyapatite(HA)crystals with cauliflower shaped morphology were deposited on the surface of composites,confirming good bioactivity of *** addition,due to the uniform distribution of bioceramic powders throughout Mg matrix,grain refinement of the Mg matrix,and uniform redistribution of secondary phase particles,the polarization resistance increased,and the biodegradation rate of composites significantly reduced compared to monolithic Mg *** polarization corrosion resistance of Mg-ZnO increased from 0.216 to 2.499 kΩ/cm^(2)compared to monolithic Mg ***,Mg-ZnO composite with the weight loss of 0.0217 g after 28 d immersion showed lower weight loss compared to other samples with increasing immersion ***,Mg-ZnO composite with the biodegradation rate of 37.71 mm/a exhibited lower biodegradation rate compared to other samples with increasing immersion time.

本研究采用搅拌摩擦法制备了添加ZnO、Ca2ZnSi2O7、Ca2MgSi2O7和CaSiO3作为生物活性剂的镁基复合材料。在模拟体液（SBF）中研究了该复合材料的微观结构、体外生物活性、生物降解率和腐蚀行为。结果表明,在SBF中浸泡28 d,由于Ca2+和PO43-离子的释放,材料表面沉积了花椰菜状的羟基磷灰石（HA）晶体,证实了该材料具有良好的生物活性。此外,由于生物陶瓷粉末在Mg基体中均匀分布,超过83%的Mg基体晶粒细化,二次相颗粒均匀分布,极化电阻增加,复合材料的生物降解率较Mg基体显著降低。与镁合金相比,Mg-ZnO的极化腐蚀电阻从0.216提高到2.499 kQ/cm2。此外,MgZnO复合材料在浸泡28 d后的失重0.0217 g,随着浸泡时间的延长,失重仍低于其他样品。Mg-ZnO复合材料的生物降解率为37.71 mm/a,随着浸泡时间的延长,较其他样品其生物降解率更低。

This letter presents two preprocessing techniques for narrow-band interference （NBI） rejection in Time- Division-Duplex （TDD） CDMA systems. In the proposed methods, at the transmitter, by using Karhaunen-Loeve Transform and Discrete Fourier Transform, the transmitted power is set to zero in the directions of the eigenvectors that will be severely contaminated by NBI; and therefore less part of the transmitted energy will be polluted by NBI in channel. The processing is transferred from receiver to transmitter, and thus the complexity of the receiver is significantly reduced. It is assumed that channel state information can be estimated at the transmitter because in symmetric TDD systems each receiver in turn also acts as a transmitter.

A lot of research has been done on multiple-valued logic(MVL) such as ternary logic in these years. MVL reduces the number of necessary operations and also decreases the chip area that would be used. Carbon nanotube field effect transistors(CNTFETs) are considered a viable alternative for silicon transistors(MOSFETs). Combining carbon nanotube transistors and MVL can produce a unique design that is faster and more flexible. In this paper, we design a new half adder and a new multiplier by nanotechnology using a ternary logic, which decreases the power consumption and chip surface and raises the speed. The presented design is simulated using CNTFET of Stanford University and HSPICE software, and the results are compared with those of other studies.

Fiber-reinforced polymers(FRPs)have received considerable research attention because of their high strength,corrosion resistance,and low ***,owing to the lack of ductility in this material and the quasi-brittle behavior of concrete,FRP-reinforced concrete(FRP-RC)beams,even with flexural failure,do not fail in a ductile *** the limited deformation capacity of FRP-RC beams depends on the ductility of their compression zones,the present study proposes using a precast confined concrete block(PCCB)in the compression zone to improve the ductility of the beams.A control beam and four beams with different PCCBs were cast and tested under four-point bending *** control beam failed due to shear,and the PCCBs exhibited different confinements and *** goal was to find an appropriate PCCB for use in the compression zone of the beams,which not only improved the ductility but also changed the failure mode of the beams from shear to *** the employed blocks,a ductile PCCB with low equivalent compressive strength increased the ductility ratio of the beam to twice that of the control *** beam failed in pure flexure with considerable deformation capacity and without significant stiffness reduction.

Discharging untreated wastewater causes environmental *** research examined the efficiency of removal and the adsorption process of Emerging Contaminant nonylphenol(NP)using magnetic Chlorella vulgaris(M-Chlorella vulgaris).The characterization of M-Chlorella vulgaris involved XRD,FESEM,EDS-Mapping,BET,FTIR,and VSM *** impact of four different parametersdpH,MChlorella vulgaris dose,initial concentration of NP,and contact time on the biosorption process was *** model and optimize the study while minimizing costs and the number of experiments,Response Surface Methodology(RSM)with Central Composite Design(CCD)was *** to the findings,the quadratic model with adjusted R^(2)=0.96 was the best fitted among the other *** pH=3.5,dosage=2.5 g/l,NP concentration=4 mg/l,and reaction time=70 min,which are the optimal parameters,the maximum removal effectiveness was about 91%.The Langmuir model(R^(2)=0.998)and pseudo-second-order model(R^(2)=0.997)exhibited the best fits for the adsorption isotherm and kinetic studies,*** characteristics of M-Chlorella vulgaris were determined to facilitate a spontaneous nature,and thermodynamic experiments indicated that the process of adsorption of nonylphenol is *** inexpensiveness and availability of adsorbent,suitable efficiency in the biosorption of pollutant and magnetic collection of pollutant from the aquatic environment can be mentioned as the advantages of this process.

The present study was conducted aiming at investigating the effect of social media-based intervention according to the Theory of Planned Behavior(TPB)to control the academic stress of the *** study comes in two descriptive and quasi-experimental sections in the Academic Year *** order to determine the effect of planned behavioral constructs on stress levels,the descriptive study was conducted on 320 *** quasiexperimental study was organized to determine the effect of a social media-based educational intervention on the TPB on 180 *** collection was conducted through questionnaires of personal information,Gadzella’s Student-Life Stress Inventory,and researcher-made questionnaire based on the TPB,with a confirmed validity and *** predicted 15.1%of the variance of academic stress among students and the perceived behavioral control construct had the most significant effect(p<0.001).The mean score of knowledge and subject norms in the experimental group was significantly increased during the study(p<0.05).The social media intervention could reduce the students’academic stress to some extent and lead to the student’s subject norms development.

Salmonellosis outbreaks caused by Salmonella Enteritidis are usually linked to the consumption of eggs and egg products. To assure egg safety, High Voltage Atmospheric Cold Plasma (HVACP) has demonstrated its efficacy in achieving higher than 105 CFU/egg reduction of this bacteria on the egg's surface. Although no quality changes were found immediately after treatment, there was a lack of knowledge on how the quality of HVACP-treated eggs could evolve during their shelf life, and a six-week quality study was performed in this work. Eggs were treated under two sets of conditions, 0.5 min of treatment within 24 h post treatment and 8.5 min of treatment and no post treatment time were the selected ones. No significant differences were found between untreated and treated eggs regarding albumen and yolk pH, Haugh unit, yolk color, vitelline membrane strength or shell strength. The changes detected during the six weeks of storage at 4 degrees C were attributed to the natural aging of the eggs and not to the effect of HVACP treatments. These results prove HVACP technology as an effective alternative to current techniques to assure both the safety and quality of eggs during their shelf life.
