Effect of nb addition on the microstructural,mechanical and electrochemical characteristics of AlCrFeniCu high-entropy alloy

AlCrFeniCunbx(x=0.05,0.15,and 0.26)high-entropy alloys(hEAs)were successfully fabricated using the laser metal deposition *** laser power of 1600 W and scanning speed of 1.2 m/min were used during laser processing of the *** microstructural,mechanical,and electrochemical characteristics of the alloys were evaluated using various advanced characterization *** showed that the alloys exhibited a dual-phase structure with dendritic *** inclusion of nb in the AlCrFeniCu alloy matrix promoted the formation of fine eutectic structures and changed the shape of the grains from columnar to *** Cu content decreased with the increase in the content of nb,whereas the Al content increased with the increase in the content of *** findings indicated that the presence of nb in the alloy promoted the formation and enhanced the stability of the body-centered cubic(bcc)*** of the alloys that contained nb also exhibited high hardness,compressive strength,and wear ***,the low current density and positive shift in potential exhibited by hEAs with appropriate addition of nb highlighted the superior anticorrosive properties.

Biopolymer composite has gained huge attention for its beneficial properties such as biodegradable and less impact to the *** consequently would diminish the dependency on the petroleum-based *** of studies have been done on the development and characterization of biopolymer composite materials for food packaging application,but work on the conceptual design of biopolymer composite packaging product is hardly *** the Kano Model,Quality Function Deployment for Environment(QFDE),morphological map,and Analytic hierarchy Method(AhP)framework combination,this paper presents the conceptual design of a natural fibre reinforced biopolymer composites take-out food *** understand customer satisfaction with the current use of takeout food containers,the Kano model was applied,and the findings were integrated into *** highest weight of voices of customer and environment(VOCE)as the solution parameters for the design characteristics were later refined using the aid of morphological chart(MC)to systematically develop conceptual ***,AhP was utilized to pick the final concept *** concept design with the highest score(8.3%)was chosen as the final conceptual design.

We report an experimental route for synthesizing perovskite-structured strontium titanate （srtiO3） nanocubes using an alkali hydrothermal process at low temperatures without further heating. Furthermore, we studied the influence of heating time （at 180℃） on the crystallinity, morphology, and perovskite phase formation of srtiO3. the srtiO3 powder, which is formed via nanocube agglomeration, transforms into cubic particles with a particle size of 120--150 nm after 6 h of hydrothermal sintering. the crystallinity and percentage of the perovskite phase in the product increased with heating time. the cubic particles contained 31.24at% anatase tiO2 that originated fi＇om the precursor. By varying the weight ratio of anatase tiO2 used to react with the strontium salt precursor, we reduced the anatase-tiO2 content to 18.8at%. however, the average particle size increased when the anatase-tiO2 content decreased.

here we demonstrate the fabrication, electrochemical performance and application of an asymmetric supercapacitor (As) device constructed with ss-ni(Oh)(2)/MWCnts as positive electrode and KOh activated honeycomb-like porous carbon (K-PC) derived from banana fibers as negative electrode. Initially, the electrochemical performance of hydrothermally synthesized ss-ni(Oh)(2)/MWCnts nanocomposite and K-PC was studied in a three-electrode system using 1 M KOh. these materials exhibited a specific capacitance (Cs) of 1327 Fig and 324 F/g respectively at a scan rate of 10 mV/s. Further, the As device i.e., ss-ni(Oh)(2)/MWCnts// K-PC in 1 M KOh solution, demonstrated a Cs of 156 F/g at scan rate of 10 mV/s in a broad cell voltage of 0-2.2 V. the device demonstrated a good rate capability by maintaining a Cs of 59 F/g even at high current density (25 A/g). the device also offered high energy density of 63 Wh/kg with maximum power density of 5.2 kW/kg. the As device exhibited excellent cycle life with 100% capacitance retention at 5000th cycle at a high current density of 25 A/g. two As devices connected in series were employed for powering a pair of LEDs of different colors and also a mini fan. A tunable and optically modulated fiber laser utilizing a multi-walled carbon nanotube based saturable absorber is demonstrated for operation in the O-band region.A praseodymium-doped fluoride fiber is used as the gain medium and the system is capable of generating modulated outputs at 1300 *** output is observed at pump powers of 511 mW and above,with repetition rates and pulse widths that can be tuned from 41 khz and 3.4μs to 48 khz and 2.4μs,respectively,at the maximum pump power available.A maximum average output power of 100μW with a corresponding single pulse energy of 2.1 nJ is measured,while the tunability of the proposed laser is from 1290 nm to 1308 *** output is stable,with peak power fluctuations of^4 dB from the average value.

the hydration of quick lime and the sulfation of hydrated lime were carried out for verification of relationship between the reactivity of quick lime and the properties of hydrated lime as a sorbent. the effect of reactivity of quick lime was investigated with the change of calcination temperature and time. Results obtained showed that the temperature rise during the hydration of quick limes varied from 31 to 69℃ with the variation of calcination temperature and time. the specific surface area and the sulfation ability of hydrated lime prepared by hydration of quick lime showed a proportional relationship with the reactivity of quick lime. the hydrated lime which was prepared by hydration of quick lime calcined at 1100℃ had the highest reactivity and showed 41.53 m^2/g of the specific surface area, 0.16 cm^3/g of the pore volume and 87% of the removal efficiency for sO2 removal,

the power output of the photovoltaic(PV) system having multiple arrays gets reduced to a great extent when it is partially shaded due to environmental hindrances. the maximum power trackers which are conventionally used may not be competent enough to find the maximum power point(MPP) during partially shaded conditions. the sensible reason for the failure of conventional trackers is during partial shaded conditions the PV arrays exhibit multi peak power curves, thereby making simple maximum power point tracking(MPPt) algorithms like perturb and observe(P&O) to get stuck with local maxima instead of capturing global ***, global search MPPt aided by evolutionary and swarm intelligence algorithms will be conducive to find global power point during partially shaded conditions. this work suggests a unified controller which feeds control signal to its power electronic conditioner placed at each module. the evolutionary algorithm which is taken into consideration in this work is differential evolution(DE).the performance of the proposed method is compared to the classical un-dimensional search controller and it is evident from the Matlab/simulink results that the unified controller prevails over the distributed counterpart.

this study investigates the effect of aluminium oxide nanoparticlesaddition to biodiesel blends made from dairy milk scum on performance and combustion characteristics of the diesel *** dispersion of Al2O3nanoparticles in B20 blends at different concentrations was done with the help of *** number of blends were prepared for the *** Machine learning algorithms(Random Forest（RF）and CatBoost) was used for the *** results show that in comparison to biodiesel blends without nanoparticles,the kinematic viscosity and density is higher for fuel blends with *** these Fuel blends have higher calorific *** blends exhibited reduced Brake specific Fuel Consumption（BsFC） of2.85% than the blends without nano particles(Dairy scum Methyl Ester Biodiesel 20%+neat Diesel 80%（in volume）,DsMEB20),57.14% less CO,40.8% less hydrocarbon,and increased nOxemissions compared to conventional diesel,contributing to the development of environmentally friendly and renewable biofuel blends with *** B20nP30 is the optimal blend for performance and emission *** study concludes with findings on enhanced Brake thermal Efficiency（BtE） of 26.29% in 3×10-5（in volume） Al2O3nanoparticle-blended DsME B20 and other DsME B20 fuel blends,emphasizing the importance of optimal nanoparticle *** correlation matrix shows how engine load,efficiency measures（BtE,BsFC）,and emissions（CO,CO2,nOx,smoke） are connected in complex *** results help us understand the complicated dynamics of engine performance and emission characteristics ***'s diagram for BtE and BsFC shows that CatBoost-based BtE models perform superior to RF-based models during the training as well as testing *** results were obtained for CO and CO2emission results.
