Deep oil and gas reservoirs are under high-temperature conditions, but traditional coring methods do not consider temperature-preserved measures and ignore the influence of temperature on rock porosity and permeability, resulting in distorted resource assessments. the development of in situ temperaturepreserved coring(ItP-Coring) technology for deep reservoir rock is urgent, and thermal insulation materials are key. therefore, hollow glass microsphere/epoxy resin thermal insulation materials(HGM/EP materials) were proposed as thermal insulation materials. the materials properties under coupled hightemperature and high-pressure(HtHP) conditions were tested. the results indicated that high pressures led to HGM destruction and that the materials water absorption significantly increased; additionally,increasing temperature accelerated the process. High temperatures directly caused the thermal conductivity of the materials to increase; additionally, the thermal conduction and convection of water caused by high pressures led to an exponential increase in the thermal conductivity. High temperatures weakened the matrix, and high pressures destroyed the HGM, which resulted in a decrease in the tensile mechanical properties of the materials. the materials entered the high elastic state at 150.C, and the mechanical properties were weakened more obviously, while the pressure led to a significant effect when the water absorption was above 10%. Meanwhile, the tensile strength/strain were 13.62 MPa/1.3%and 6.09 MPa/0.86% at 100.C and 100 MPa, respectively, which meet the application requirements of the self-designed coring device. Finally, K46-f40 and K46-f50 HGM/EP materials were proven to be suitable for ItP-Coring under coupled conditions below 100.C and 100 MPa. to further improve the materials properties, the interface layer and EP matrix should be optimized. the results can provide references for the optimization and engineering application of materials and thus technical su

A large language model-powered literature review for high-angle annular dark field imaging

High-angle annular dark field(HAADF)imaging in scanning transmission electron microscopy(StEM)has become an indispensable tool in materials science due to its ability to offer sub-°A resolution and provide chemical information through *** study leverages large language models(LLMs)to conduct a comprehensive bibliometric analysis of a large amount of HAADF-related literature(more than 41000 papers).By using LLMs,specifically ChatGPt,we were able to extract detailed information on applications,sample preparation methods,instruments used,and study *** findings highlight the capability of LLMs to provide a new perspective into HAADF imaging,underscoring its increasingly important role in materials ***,the rich information extracted from these publications can be harnessed to develop AI models that enhance the automation and intelligence of electron microscopes.

Understanding the physiological adaptations of non-treeline trees to environmental stress is important to understand future shifts in species composition and distribution of current treeline *** aim of the present study was to elucidate the mechanisms of the formation of the upper elevation limit of non-treeline tree species,Picea jezoensis,and the carbon allocation strategies of the species on Changbai *** employed the^(13)C in situ pulse labeling technique to trace the distribution of photosynthetically assimilated carbon in Picea jezoensis at different elevational positions(tree species at its upper elevation limit(tSAUE,1,700 m a.s.l.)under treeline ecotone;tree species at a lower elevation position(tSALE,1,400 m a.s.l.).We analyzed^(13)C and the non-structural carbohydrate(NSC)concentrations in various tissues following *** findings revealed a significant shift in carbon allocation in tSAUE compared to *** was a pronounced increase inδ^(13)C allocation to belowground components(roots,soil,soil respiration)in tSAUE compared to ***,the C flow rate within the plant-soil-atmosphere system was faster,and the C residence time in the plant was shorter in *** trends indicate enhanced C sink activity in belowground tissues in tSAUE,with newly assimilated C being preferentially directed there,suggesting a more conservative C allocation strategy by *** at higher elevations under harsher *** a strategy,prioritizing C storage in roots,likely aids in withstanding winter cold stress at the expense of aboveground growth during the growing season,leading to reduced growth of tSAUE compared to *** results of the present study shed light on the adaptive mechanisms governing the upper elevation limits of non-treeline trees,and enhances our understanding of how non-treeline species might respond to ongoing climate change.

Zebrafish serve as a valuable model organism for studying germ cell biology and reproductive *** AB strain of zebrafish is proposed to exhibit a polygenic sex determination system,where most males initially develop juvenile ovaries before committing to male *** species with chromosomal sex determination,gonadal somatic cells are recognized as key determinants of germ cell ***,the loss of germ cells in zebrafish leads to masculinization,implying that germ cells harbor an intrinsic feminization ***,the specific signal triggering oogenesis in zebrafish remains *** the present study,we identified foxl2l as an oocyte progenitor-specific gene essential for initiating oogenesis in germ *** showed that foxl2l-knockout zebrafish bypassed the juvenile ovary stage and exclusively developed into fertile *** analysis revealed that loss of foxl2l hindered the initiation of oocyte-specific meiosis and prevented entry into oogenesis,leading to premature spermatogenesis during early gonadal ***,while mutation of the pro-male gene dmrt1 led to fertile female differentiation,simultaneous disruption of foxl2l in dmrt1 mutants completely blocked oogenesis,with a large proportion of germ cells arrested as germline stem cells,highlighting the crucial role of foxl2l in ***,this study highlights the unique function of foxl2l as a germ cell-intrinsic gatekeeper of oogenesis in zebrafish.

Investigating the Effects of V2C MXene on Improving the Switching Stability and reducing the Operation Voltages of tiO2-Based Memristors

three-atoms-type V2C MXene, an emerging class of transition metal carbides, has attracted tremendous attention in the fabrication of advanced memristive devices due to its excellent electrochemical properties. However,the inserted effects and corresponding physical mechanisms of inserting V2C on traditional tiO2-based memristors have not been clearly explored. In this work, exhaustive electrical characterizations of the V2C/tiO2-based devices exhibit enhanced performance（e.g., improved switching stability and lower operating voltages） compared to the tiO2-based counterparts. In addition, the advantaged influences of the inserted V2C have also been studied by means of first-principles calculations, confirming that V2C MXene enables controllable internal ionic process and facilitated formation mechanism of the Ag conductive filaments. this work demonstrates a way to combine experimental and theoretical investigations to reveal the positive effects of introducing V2C MXene on memristor, which is beneficial for fabricating performance-enhanced memristors.
