Study on the effect and mechanism of the dysfunction of CD4^+ t cells in the disease process of chronic cardiac failure

Objective: to study the effect and mechanism of the dysfunction of CD4+ t cells in the disease process of chronic cardiac failure (CHF).Methods:According to different group technologies, 100 CHF patients were divided into the following groups: ischemia group and non-ischemia group, heart function Ⅰ-Ⅱ group and heart function Ⅲ-Ⅳ group, event group and non-event group, and 50 healthy volunteers were included in the control group. Realtime PCR was used to detect transcription factors t-bet and GAtA-3 of th1 and th2; flow cytometry was applied to determine the ratio of th17 and treg cells; ELISA was employed to test cytokines IFN-γ, IL-4, IL-17 and IL-10 of peripheral blood th1, th2, th17 and treg cells, respectively; ultrasonic cardiogram was used to exploit to LVEF and LVEDd; and electrochemilu minescene immunoassay was used to examine plasma BNP. the differences of all indexes of all groups were analyzed and the correlation between CD4 t cells and clinical indexes was analyzed by Pearson correlation analysis. Results: As compared to the control group, the transcription factors t-bet and GAtA-3 of th1 and th2, the ratio of cytokines th17 and IFN-γ, cytokines IL-17, t-bet/GAtA-3, IFN-γ/IL-4, th17 cells/treg cells, IL-17/IL-10 of the ischemia group and non-ischemia group, heart functionⅠ-Ⅱgroup and heart function Ⅲ-Ⅳ group, event group and non-event group were all increased significantly, while their transcription factor GAtA-3 of th2, cytokines IL4, treg cells ratio, cytokines IL10 were decreased obviously. the differences showed statistical significance (P the increase or decrease of the partial CD4+ t cells of the ischemia group, heart function Ⅲ-Ⅳ group and event group was more distinctly. the results of Pearson correlation analysis showed that IFN-γ and IL-17 were significantly positively correlated with LVEDd and BNP, IL-4 and IL-10 were also significantly positively correlated with LVEF, but correlated negatively with BNP, and IL-17 was negatively corr

A low drift curvature-compensated bandgap reference with trimming resistive circuit

A low temperature drift curvature-compensated complementary metal oxide semiconductor (CMOS) bandgap ref-erence is proposed.A dual-differential-pair amplifier was employed to add compensation with a high-order term of tlnt (t is the thermodynamic temperature) to the traditional 1st-order compensated *** reduce the offset of the amplifier and noise of the bandgap reference,input differential metal oxide semiconductor field-effect transistors (MOSFEts) of large size were used in the amplifier and to keep a low quiescent current,these MOSFEts all work in weak *** voltage reference's temperature curvature has been further corrected by trimming a switched resistor *** circuit delivers an output voltage of 3 V with a low dropout regulator (LDO).the chip was fabricated in taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (tSMC)'s 0.35-μm CMOS process,and the temperature coefficient (tC) was measured to be only 2.1×10 6/°C over the temperature range of 40-125 °C after *** power supply rejection (PSR) was 100 dB @ DC and the noise was 42 μV (rms) from 0.1 to 10 Hz.

Shear and bulk viscosity of high-temperature gluon plasma

We calculate the shear viscosity（η） and bulk viscosity（ζ） to entropy density（s） ratios η/s and ζ/s of a gluon plasma system in kinetic theory, including both the elastic gg←→gg forward scattering and the inelastic soft gluon bremsstrahlung gg←→ggg processes. Due to the suppressed contribution to η and ζ in the gg←→gg forward scattering and the effective g←→gg gluon splitting, Arnold, Moore and Yaffe（AMY） and Arnold, Dogan and Moore（ADM） have got the leading order computations for η and ζ in high-temperature QCD matter. In this paper, we calculate the correction to η and ζ in the soft gluon bremsstrahlung gg←→ggg process with an analytic *** find that the contribution of the collision term from the gg←→ggg soft gluon bremsstrahlung process is just a small perturbation to the gg←→gg scattering process and that the correction is at～ 5% level. then, we obtain the bulk viscosity of the gluon plasma for the number-changing process. Furthermore, our leading-order result for bulk viscosity is the formula ζ∝（αs^2 t^3）/（lnαs^-1） in high-temperature gluon plasma.

A thorough analysis of the effect of surfactant/s on the solubility and pharmacokinetics of (S)-zaltoprofen

Until now, there are no publications about the preformulation studies on(S)-zaltoprofen((S)-ZPF). Hence, we first investigated the solubility of(S)-ZPF, screened solubilizers and performed the pharmacokinetic study of(S)-ZPF in the presence of the solubilizers. the measurement of the solubility of(S)-ZPF in 26 different solvents was carried out, including d-alpha tocopheryl polyethylene glycol 1000 succinate(tPGS), 2-hydroxypropyl-β-cyclodextrin(HPCD), and mixtures of individual solvent. the plasma concentration of(S)-ZPF and the amount of(S)-ZPF retained in stomach were determined after oral(35.0 mg/kg) and intravenous(5.0 mg/kg) administration. the solubility of(S)-ZPF showed an increase of 484-fold in tPGS compared to its aqueous solubility. there was a significant increase of AUC 0-24 h for pure(S)-ZPF in the tPGS group(813.59 ± 64.17 μg h/ml) in comparison with AUC 0-24 h in the HPCD group(595.57 ± 71.76 μg h/ml) and water group(465.57 ± 90.89 μg h/ml). In addition, the t max of(S)-ZPF in the tPGS group was 2 h, much faster than that in the HPCD or water groups(5.50 or 5.67 h, respectively). this suggested that tPGS played a significant role in the increase of solubility and bioavailability of(S)-ZPF.

the continuous detonation wave engine（CDWE）can be considered to reduce the environmental conditions generated by pulsed detonation engine（PDE）while reducing the importance of initiation issue and simplifying some integration *** experimental programs are performed by MBDA and Lavrentiev Institute to study CDWE operating mode and to address some key points for the feasibility of an operational rotating wave engine for space *** is found that such engine can deliver impressive thrust in a very small package（275 daN for internal diameter of 50 mm and length of 100 mm,kerosene-oxygen engine）and that can be increased with the use of a diverging *** to the geometry of the combustion chamber,a plug or aerospike nozzle seems to be the best design,the thrust vectoring capability of this engine（with the local change of the mass flow rate）being a way to solve the problem of attitude *** heat fluxes are very high but located mostly near the injection *** point will help the gasification of the liquid component injected inside the combustion *** preliminary tests are performed to evaluate the capability of C/SiC composite materials to sustain the very severe mechanical environment generated by the rotating detonation *** these first steps,a large scale ground demonstrator allowing to address all issues for a continuous detonation rocket engine using LH2/LOx mixture is designed by *** the first step toward the development of this large scale engine,a small scale demo is tested in Spring 2010.

AIM:to understand retinopathy of prematurity(ROP)screening and treatment preferences among Chinese ***:A Chinese language survey was administered anonymously using Web Q(Catalyst,Seattle,WA,USA)among Chinese ROP screeners from December 2016 to January ***:Among 70 ophthalmologists contacted,65 responded(93%;78%female,mean age 40 y,57%pediatric ophthalmologists and 25%retina specialists).Most used screening criteria of birth weight≤2 kg(62%)with variation in cut-off gestational age(≤37 wk,34%;≤34 wk,22%;≤32 wk,31%).Ret Cam(Natus Medical Incorporated,Pleasanton,CA,USA)wide-field fundus photography assisted most screeners(72%)and was exclusively used by many(29%).Among 55 ophthalmologists treating ROP,anti-vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)was preferred over laser for both zoneⅠ(76%vs 24%)and zoneⅡROP(58%vs 42%).Retina specialists(P=0.004)and ophthalmologists with>3 mo of training(P=0.03)were more likely to use antiVEGF over laser for zoneⅠ*** of laser training(8/20,40%),access(6/20,30%)and anesthesia(4/20,20%)were common barriers to laser ***:Chinese ROP screeners favor antiVEGF injection and Ret Cam imaging for ROP management.A better understanding of ROP screening and treatment informs future research and education efforts in China.

Recent advancements in stem cell technology open a new door for patients suffering from diseases and disorders that have yet to be *** cell-based therapy,including human pluripotent stem cells(hPsCs)and multipotent mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs),has recently emerged as a key player in regenerative *** are defined as self-renewable cell types conferring the ability to differentiate into various cellular phenotypes of the human body,including three germ *** are multipotent progenitor cells possessing self-renewal ability(limited in vitro)and differentiation potential into mesenchymal lineages,according to the International Society for Cell and Gene therapy(ISCt).this review provides an update on recent clinical applications using either hPSCs or MSCs derived from bone marrow(BM),adipose tissue(At),or the umbilical cord(UC)for the treatment of human diseases,including neurological disorders,pulmonary dysfunctions,metabolic/endocrine-related diseases,reproductive disorders,skin burns,and cardiovascular ***,we discuss our own clinical trial experiences on targeted therapies using MsCs in a clinical setting,and we propose and discuss the MSC tissue origin concept and how MSC origin may contribute to the role of MSCs in downstream applications,with the ultimate objective of facilitating translational research in regenerative medicine into clinical *** mechanisms discussed here support the proposed hypothesis that BM-MSCs are potentially good candidates for brain and spinal cord injury treatment,At-MSCs are potentially good candidates for reproductive disorder treatment and skin regeneration,and UC-MsCs are potentially good candidates for pulmonary disease and acute respiratory distress svndrometreatment.
