the relationship of Imp2 and dR3 genes with susceptibility to type Ⅰ diabetes mellitus in south China Han population

AIN to study the relationship of Imp2 and dR3genes with type Ⅰ diabetes *** Imp2 genotypes and dR3 wereidentified in 68 patients with type Ⅰ diabetesmellitus(Ⅰ-dM)and 71 healthy ***,Ⅰ-dM patients and controls were respectivelyallocated into dR3-positive and *** frequencies of Imp2 and dR3 genein random subjects,and Imp2 genotypes in dR3-matched subjects were compared between Ⅰ-dMpatients and *** the same time,Ⅰ-dMpatients were divided into 3 groups based on theonset age of diabetics:group A≤14 years,group b 15-30 years and group C≥31 *** the frequency of dR3 in Ⅰ-dMpatients was significantly higher than that incontrols(47% vs 21%,P<0.005),and it wassignificantly higher in group A than that in groupb+C(70% vs 36%,x^2=7.07,P<0.01).therewas a significant difference among groups withdifferent onset age of diabetics(x^2=8.19,rp=0.33,P<0.05).In random subjects,thefrequency of Imp2.R/R in Ⅰ-dM patients waslower(43% vs 61%,P<0.05)and Imp2.R/Hhigher(53% vs 28%,P<0.05)than that incontrols,and there was no significant differenceamong groups with different onset age *** dR3-positive subjects,thefrequency of Imp2.R/R in Ⅰ-dM patients waslower(47% vs 87%,P<0.05)and Imp2-R/H higher(47% vs 13%,P<0.05)than that *** dR3-negative subjects,thefrequency of Imp2.R/H in Ⅰ-dM patients washigher than that in controls(58% vs 32%,P<0.01),but the frequency of Imp2-R/R and Imp2H/H was not significantly different betweenthese two *** dR3 gene may be one of thesusceptible genes of Ⅰ-dM,and significantlyrelated to the onset age of diabetics,and thepersons with dR3 may have an younger onsetage of *** Imp2-R/R may be theprotective genotype of Ⅰ-dM,and Imp2-R/H thesusceptible *** were not affectedby dR3 ***-2 genotypes were not relatedwith the onset age of diabetics.

background: the present work aims to characterize the profile of patients with stroke treat at a hospital located in the Region of the Mata of Minas Gerais, brazil, considering the findings of the clinical vocal tract, kind of stroke, age and gender of such patients. Methodology: to obtain data, the clinical profile of 133 patients with a clinical or tomography diagnosis of stroke was analyzed, and the results were presented in percentage. For quantitative data average and analysis the tests were done with associations that held χ2 test, and for significance it was considered p Results: From the total of patients, 63 were women, accounting for 47.4% and the other 52.6% were males. Clinically, they were characterized with the highest percentage for ischemic stroke (89.4%) compared to the hemorrhagic type (10.6%). Most of them were referred for computed tomography (86.5%) and remained hospitalized for an average of 6.496 ± 7.372 days. similar percentages were obtained in the analysis of the population in question, when considering if they had (54.1%) or not (49.6%) any damage in their speech, language skills or swallowing. there were different types of disabilities in patients with stroke. Men with an average age of 69.8 ± 13.9 presents mostly ischemic stroke, and the majority of patients with stroke had hemiplegia and abnormalities of the vocal tract, dysphasia, and aphasia. While older patients had an ischemic stroke and were presented with left hemiplegia, the younger ones suffered from hemorrhagic strokes that caused a disability characterized as right hemiplegic. Conclusion: Our results show important conclusions regarding the clinical evolution of the vocal tract of patients who suffered strokes during the period of the analysis, being useful for better comprehension of how the vocal tract from these patients evolved according to the kind of stroke, sex and age also allowing a contraposition with other future statistics periods available in literature. It is pointed out that, owing to the similarity existing between the electromagnetic interaction and the vector part of the weak interaction proposed by Feynman and Gell-mann, the contribution of the vector part of the weak interaction to μ-capture by proton is closely related to the electromagnetic form factors of the nucleon. Formula for the capture probability calculated with the renormalized V-A weak interaction is given. the correction to the contribution of the vector part of the weak interaction due to the charge and magnetic moment distribution of the nucleon is estimated on the basis of the data of electron-nucleon scattering experiment.

Multimodal separation for ultrasonic Lamb wave using independent component analysis in the time-frequency domain

目的探讨电针治疗慢性非细菌性前列腺炎的效应机制,为电针介入慢性非细菌性前列腺炎治疗提供实验依据。方法将Wistar健康雄性大鼠80只随机分为4组:空白组、模型组、普通针刺组、电针组,每组20只。前列腺背叶内注入25%消痔灵注射液0.2 mL制作大鼠慢性前列腺炎模型,造模14天后开始治疗。电针双侧肾俞、会阳穴,每日1次,5日为1疗程,共进行4个疗程后处死动物,观察对慢性非细菌性前列腺炎大鼠前列腺组织病理学及血清内IL-2、tNF-α含量的影响。结果电针后,前列腺炎性反应减轻或消失,模型组大鼠血清中IL-2水平明显降低,tNF-α含量明显升高,与空白组比较,差异具有统计学意义PtNF-α水平,与模型组比较,PtNF-α水平,起到抗炎免疫调节的作用。

A field investigation was conducted to determine the survival and growth rate of eucalyptus (Eucalyptus camaldulensis dehn.) and guava (Psidium guajava L.) saplings planted in salt-affected soils. the field used was highly saline-sodic in nature with a wide variation in electrical conductivity of the saturated soil extract (ECe), pHs, sodium adsorption ratio (sAR) and gypsum requirement (GR). A randomized complete block design was utilized with three treatments, i.e. t1 = plastic container bags totally removed, t2 = only the plastic container bag's base removed and t3 = plastic container bags un-removed. there were 34 and 8 plants in each block for eucalyptus and guava, correspondingly. the survival rates of eucalyptus and guava saplings were greater than 90%. In addition, gain in eucalyptus height was significantly higher in the t1 treatment where the bags were totally removed while for guava height the treatments were not *** gain in girth was not significant for both eucalyptus and guava saplings. With eucalyptus the taproot length was greater than the lateral roots while for guava the lateral roots were longer than the *** was a decrease in the salinity-sodicity of the soils for the upper 30 cm depth under both types of vegetation, indicating that the salts had leached down to the b-horizon.

strong>Introduction:strong> Pain control during Manual Vacuum Aspiration is one of the most important aspects of postabortion care. This study assessed the analgesic efficacy, requirement for additional analgesia, and overall satisfaction using Paracervical blocks of 1% lignocaine compare with normal saline as placebo among women undergoing manual vacuum aspiration for incomplete abortion in OAUTHC, Ile-Ife. b>Methods: b>This was a double blind randomized controlled trial that occurred between January 2019 and February 2020. We randomized one hundred and twenty eligible women equally into 2 groups. Group A received paracervical block using 1% lignocaine while those in group B received paracervical block using normal saline as placebo. We obtained ethical clearance from the Ethics and Research Committee of the hospital. Preoperatively, we obtained relevant data and evaluated the degree of anxiety and pain on a visual analog scale (VAS). Intraoperative pain was evaluated from 2 viewpoints: that of the external observer on a 0 - 4 scale and that of the patient scale of 0 - 10 in the immediate postoperative period, followed by overall satisfaction at the point of discharge. 本文报道了基于聚合物胆甾相液晶的、可电场调控的红外反射器件的制备,并系统研究了器件厚度对器件性能的影响.即施加直流电场后,厚度较小的器件的反射带宽仅发生红移;厚度较大的器件的反射带宽增宽.这种现象是由于不同厚度的胆甾相液晶薄膜中不同的螺距梯度导致的.本工作的研究结果表明在制备基于聚合物胆甾相液晶的电控红外反射器件时,厚度是决定反射性能的重要因素.由于该红外反射器件具有较快的响应时间和较好的工作稳定性,在建筑和汽车等的节能窗领域有较好的应用前景.

Evaluation of 1-Chloroacetophenone (CN) and dibenz (b, f)-1, 4 oxazepine (CR) Induced Respiratory tract sensory Irritation Following a simple Inhalation Exposure Method in Mice

sensory irritation of the upper respiratory tract was induced in mice by inhalation of vapors, generated under thermal stress of two tear gases viz. 1-chloroacetophenone (CN) and dibenz (b, f)-1, 4 oxazepine (CR) following a simple exposure technique. A known quantity of the irritant was kept in an adapter fitted with glass exposure chamber, heated, and the vapor thus generated was purged into the chamber. the restrained mouse inhaled the vapor, and the resultant depression of respiratory rate was recorded on a polygraph. Fifty percent depression of the respiration rate and the corresponding air concentration of the irritant was determined by obtaining the linear curve fitting equation and putting the value of Y=50. It was concluded that inhalation of CR vapor was 2. 66 times more irritating than that of CN in mice. the employed exposure method also proved to be simple, sensitive, easy t0 operate,and may also prove useful in evaluating irritation of upper respiratory tract fOllowing the inhalation of vapors of various chemicals.
