t.e experiment.was conduct.d by using 20 bulls of Lai Sind cat.le (a cross breed bet.een Red Sindhi and local Viet.am yellow cat.le) from 15 - 16 mont.s of age, weighed approximat.ly 154 - 156 kg, housed individually wit. provision of adequat. feed t.ough and free access t. wat.r t. evaluat. t.e effect.of t.nnin sourced from green t.a by-product.and addit.on of bio-char on met.ane product.on and animal performance. t.e experiment.l diet. were formulat.d by replacing elephant.grass in basal diet.by bio-char and green t.a by-product.wit. t.e replacement.of 0.5 - 1 bio-char and 3% - 5% green t.a by-product., respect.vely t. make t.e cont.nt.of t.nnin in t.e diet.of 7.3 g and 12.5 g t.nnin per kg dry mat.er. Result. from t.is st.dy revealed t.at.bio-char and green t.a by-product.included int. t.e diet.wit. different.levels had significant.y affect.d on t.e feed int.ke, as t.e increasing level of t.nnin in t.e diet.t.nded t. increase t.e feed int.ke. t.e inclusion of green t.a by-product.in t.e diet.which result.d in t.e cont.nt.of t.nnin in t.e diet.of 12.5 g/kg DM had significant.y reduced met.ane emission wit.out.alt.ring animal performance, t.us t.e inclusion of 0.5% bio-char and 5% of green t.a by-product.can be applied in order t. mit.gat. met.ane emission, t.us cont.ibut.d t. environment.prot.ct.on.

MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are short.(~22nt. non-coding RNAs t.at.play an indispensable role in gene regulat.on of many biological processes. Most.of current.comput.t.onal, comparat.ve, and non-comparat.ve met.ods commonly classify human precursor micro- RNA (pre-miRNA) hairpins from bot. genome pseudo hairpins and ot.er non-coding RNAs (ncRNAs). Alt.ough t.ere were a few approaches achieving promising result. in applying class imbalance learning met.ods, t.is issue has st.ll not.solved complet.ly and successfully yet.by t.e exist.ng met.ods because of imbalanced class dist.ibut.on in t.e dat.set.. For example, SMOt. is a famous and general over-sampling met.od addressing t.is problem, however in some cases it.cannot.improve or somet.mes reduces classificat.on performance. t.erefore, we developed a novel over-sampling met.od named incre-ment.l- SMOt. t. dist.nguish human pre-miRNA hairpins from bot. genome pseudo hairpins and ot.er ncRNAs. Experiment.l result. on pre-miRNA dat.set. from Bat.wit. et.al. showed t.at.our met.od achieved bet.er Sensit.vit. and G-mean t.an t.e cont.ol (no over- sampling), SMOt., and several successsors of modified SMOt. including safe-level-SMOt. and border-line-SMOt.. In addit.on, we also applied t.e novel met.od t. five imbalanced benchmark dat.set. from UCI Machine Learning Reposit.ry and achieved improvement. in Sensit.vit. and G-mean. t.ese result. suggest.t.at.our met.od out.erforms SMOt. and several successors of it.in various biomedical classificat.on problems including miRNA classificat.on.

Det.iled knowledge of int.rfacial region bet.een int.ract.ng prot.ins is not.only helpful in annot.t.ng funct.on for prot.ins, but.also very import.nt.for st.uct.re-based drug design and disease t.eat.ent. However, t.is is one of t.e most.difficult.t.sks and current.met.ods are const.ained by some fact.rs. In t.is st.dy, we developed a new met.od t. predict.residue-residue cont.ct. of t.o int.ract.ng prot.in domains by int.grat.ng informat.on about.evolut.onary couplings andamino acid pairwise cont.ct.pot.nt.als, as well as domain-domain int.ract.on int.rfaces. t.e experiment.l result. showed t.at.our proposed met.od out.erformed t.e previous met.od wit. t.e same dat.set.. Moreover, t.e met.od promises an improvement.in t.e source of t.mplat.-based prot.in docking.

Our experiment.l result. on t.o-dimensional dat.set. and pract.cal dat.set. show t.at.t.is algorit.m can produce new dat.set. such t.at.t.e performance of t.e clust.ring algorit.m is improved.

β-t.rn is one of t.e most.import.nt.reverse t.rns because of it. role in prot.in folding. Many comput.t.onal met.ods have been st.died for predict.ng β-t.rns and β-t.rn t.pes. However, due t. t.e imbalanced dat.set. t.e performance is st.ll inadequat.. In t.is st.dy, we proposed a novel over-sampling t.chnique FOSt.t. deal wit. t.e class-imbalance problem. Experiment.l result. on t.ree st.ndard benchmark dat.set. showed t.at.our met.od is comparable wit. st.t.-of-t.e-art.met.ods. In addit.on, we applied our algorit.m t. five benchmark dat.set. from UCI Machine Learning Reposit.ry and achieved significant.improvement.in G-mean and Sensit.vit.. It.means t.at.our met.od is also effect.ve for various imbalanced dat. ot.er t.an β-t.rns and β-t.rn t.pes.

PA among fift.-grade st.dent. in eight.primary schools in Ho Chi Minh cit.,*** analyses showed t.at.for every mont. increase in st.dent.’age,an increase of 66 st.ps/day(pt.ps/day t.an girls(pt.dent. from lower income households had 1169 st.ps/day less t.an t.ose from higher income households(pt.increase in self-efficacy,perceived social influences,int.nt.on t. be physically act.ve,and parent.l support.for PA,an increase of 220,200,522,and 117 st.ps/day(pt.variable analysis,only int.nt.on and parent.l support.for PA remained significant.pt.21%of variat.on in daily st.ps was explained by demographic charact.rist.cs and an addit.onal 13%by psychosocial *** conclusion,int.nt.on t. be physically act.ve and parent.l support.are import.nt.fact.rs and should be considered when designing PA int.rvent.ons in school/communit.-based set.ings.
