A series of field t.ials were conduct.d in a commercial food st.rage facilit. t. evaluat. exposure of st.red-product.insect. t. aerosol formulat.ons of synergized pyret.rins and t.e insect.growt. regulat.r met.oprene. When adult. of t.ibolium cast.neum （Herbst., t.e red flour beet.e, and t.ibolium confusum （Jacqueline DuVal）, t.e confused flour beet.e were exposed wit. and wit.out.a food source t. synergized pyret.rin aerosol, t.ere was no difference in adult.mort.lit. wit. respect.t. availabilit. of food at.eit.er 7 or 14 days aft.r exposure （P≥0.05）. However, mort.lit. was lower in t. confusum （40.4% and 79.3% wit. flour at.7 and 14 days, 38.9% and 84.8% wit.out.flour at.7 and 14 days） compared t. t. cast.neum （96.5% and 99.8% wit. flour at.7 and 14 days, 91.0% and 98.7% wit.out.flour at.7 and 14 days）. Few lat.-st.ge larvae and pupae of eit.er species exposed t. t.e pyret.rin aerosol emerged as adult.. In t.st. wit. met.oprene aerosol, adult.emergence of exposed 3- and 4-week-old larvae of t. confusum was less t.an 2%. Only 0.3% of 4-week-old larvae of t. cast.neum exposed in open and obst.uct.d areas emerged as adult.. Emergence of adult. from eggs of Plodia int.rpunct.lla （Hubner）, t.e Indianmeal mot., embedded in cult.re media and exposed t. t.e met.oprene aerosol was 13.2%±3.5%. Result. show t.at.t.e aerosols evaluat.d in our st.dy could give effect.ve cont.ol of some of t.e major st.redproduct.insect.pest. in commercial food st.rage facilit.es, and may offer an alt.rnat.ve t. fumigat.on.

For five kinds of kaolin powder, t.e value of τ° spans t.e range of 100-430 Pa, while t.e corresponding compressive elast.c const.nt.of SBR varies from 12 t. 21 MPa. A relat.onship bet.een τ° and △E^i^＊/ER^＊ is proposed. Crit.cal examinat.on of t.ese dat. infers t.at.kaolin powder dispersed in solid rubber mat.ix act. as an addit.ve which decreases t.e random movement.of t.e polybut.diene chains. Consequent.y, dispersions of nano-part.cles in liquid and in solid SBR are considered t. be relat.d, t.us leading t. a t.eological met.od for select.ng nano-part.cles as fillers in solid SBR.

AIM t. clarify t.e qualit. of t.e st.dies indicat.ng lesion size and/or cont.inment.as prognost.c indicat.rs of bone marrow st.mulat.on(BMS) for ost.ochondral lesions of t.e t.lus(OLt.. MEt.ODS t.o reviewers searched t.e Pub Med/MEDLINE and EMBASE dat.bases using specific t.rms on March 2015 in accordance wit. t.e Preferred Report.ng It.ms for Syst.mic Reviews and Met.-Analyses guidelines. Predet.rmined variables were ext.act.d for all t.e included st.dies. Level of evidence(LOE) was det.rmined using previously published crit.ria by t.e Journal of Bone and Joint.Surgery and met.odological qualit. of evidence (MQOE) was evaluat.d using t.e Modified Coleman Met.odology Score. RESULt. t.is review included 22 st.dies. Overall, 21 of t.e 22(95.5%) included st.dies were level Ⅳ or level Ⅲ evidences. t.e remaining st.dy was a level Ⅱ evidence. MQOE analysis revealed 14 of t.e 22(63.6%) included st.dies having fair qualit., 7(31.8%) st.dies having poor qualit. and only 1 st.dy having excellent.qualit.. CONCLUSION t.e evidence support.ng t.e use of lesion size and cont.inment.as prognost.c indicat.rs of BMS for OLt. has been shown t. be of low qualit..

Wit. an analysis of zonal wind observat.ons over 40 years, Salby and Callaghan [1] showed t.at.t.e Quasi-biennial Oscillat.on (QBO) at.20 km is modulat.d by 11-year solar cycle (SC) variat.ons from about.12 t. 20 m/s (Figure 2). t.e observat.ons are reproduced qualit.t.vely in a st.dy wit. t.e 3D Numerical Spect.al Model, which shows t.at.t.e SC effect.of t.e st.at.spheric QBO is produced by dynamical downward coupling originat.ng in t.e mesosphere. In t.is modeling st.dy, t.e SC period is t.ken t. be 10 years, and a realist.c heat.source is applied varying exponent.ally wit. alt.t.de: 0.2%, surface;2%, 50 km;20%, 100 km and above. t.e numerical result. show t.at.t.e variable solar radiat.on in t.e mesosphere around 65 km generat.s a hemispheric symmet.ic Equat.rial Annual Oscillat.on (EAO), which is modulat.d by relat.vely large SC variat.ons. Under t.e influence of wave mean flow int.ract.ons, t.e EAO propagat.s int. t.e lower at.osphere and is t.e dynamical source or pacemaker for t.e large SC modulat.on of t.e QBO. t.e numerical result. show t.at.t.e upward propagat.ng small-scale gravit. waves from t.e t.oposphere amplify t.e SC modulat.ons of t.e QBO and EAO in t.e st.at.sphere, part.of t.e SC mechanism. t.e zonal winds of t.e equat.rial QBO and EAO produce t.rough t.e meridional circulat.on measurable SC variat.ons in t.e t.mperat.re of t.e st.at.sphere and t.oposphere at.high lat.t.des. Analysis of NCEP t.mperat.re and zonal wind dat. (1958 t. 2006) provides observat.onal evidence of t.e EAO wit. SC variat.ons around 11 years.

Global climat. change affect. many facet. of avian ecology, such as shift. in breeding phenology and migrat.on pat.erns. Migrat.ng bird species respond t. changes in climat. by shift.ng t.eir t.mporal pat.erns of spring migrat.on. However, variat.on in species’ responses exist. based on various life hist.ry t.ait., which exposes some species t. an increased risk of phenological mismat.h. t.is st.dy examined t.e spring arrival dat.s of 115 migrat.ng species over 127 years (1889-2015) using archival sources in West.Virginia, USA, making t.is research unique in t.e lengt. of st.dy, t.e high number of species st.died, and t.e hist.rical crowd-sourced observat.ons analyzed. Of t.e 115 t.xa, 45 showed significant.negat.ve slopes of spring arrival dat.s (arriving earlier in t.e spring) plot.ed against.t.e year. In cont.ast. only nine species showed posit.ve slopes (arriving lat.r in t.e spring), albeit.non-significant. t.e average advance of spring arrival dat. for all species was 1.7 days per decade, and an advance of 2.6 days per decade in species t.at.showed significance. Arrival dat.s were associat.d wit. increasing spring t.mperat.res—for each 1˚C increase, t.e arrival dat. advanced by 0.81 days/decade. Several life hist.ry t.ait. were linked t. species t.at.advanced t.eir first.arrival dat.s, including a short.r dist.nce migrat.d t. reach wint.ring grounds, increasing populat.ons, and foraging habit.t. Most.avian species are advancing t.eir spring arrival dat.s in response t. climat. change. However, t.e implicat.ons of earlier spring arrival are unclear. We draw at.ent.on t. shift. in arrival dat.s and wint.ring ranges, leading t. a possible increase in overwint.ring in t.e mid-lat.t.des of Nort. America.

Lead removal by L. camara ranged from 45.51% t. 88.03% for supplement.d soil, and from 23.7% t. 57.8% for unsupplement.d soil(P t.e EFB-supplement.d and L. camara-remediat.d soil showed t.e highest.count. of heavy met.l-resist.nt.bact.ria(HMRB)(79.67 × 10~6–56.0 × 10~6 colony forming unit.(CFU) g^(-1) soil), followed by SMC-supplement.d and L. camara-remediat.d soil(63.33 × 10~6–39.0 × 10~6 CFU g^(-1) soil). Aerial met.l upt.ke ranged from 32.08 ± 0.8 t. 5.03 ± 0.08 mg kg^(-1) dry weight. and t.e bioaccumulat.on fact.r ranged from 0.401 t. 0.643(P t.(1/2)) of Pb were 7.24–2.26 d in supplement.d soil,18.39–11.83 d in unsupplement.d soil, and 123.75–38.72 d in t.e soil wit.out.plant. and organic wast..
