Increasing demands for ultrahigh-strength steels in commercial as well as military applications have raised interest in finding alternatives to the high-cost high-alloyed steel and super-alloys currently used, e.g. the use of economic low-alloy compositions processed via low-cost air induction melting and electroslag refining (ESR). In this work the yield of alloying elements and the removal of the impurities nitrogen, sulphur and phosphorus as a result of electroslag refining (ESR) in a newly developed CrNimoWmnV ultrahigh-strength steel (UHSS) have been studied in relation to their activities in the molten metal pool. Six experimental heats of CrNimoWmnV UHSS with different chemical compositions were designed, melted in an induction furnace (IF) and refined using ESR. this was followed by hot forging of the ingots at 1100°C to 950°C. ESR using a CaF2-CaO-Al2O3 slag system led to a high yield in Cr, Ni, mo, W, mn and V, while the yield of Si is low. the desulphurization of all six UHSS grades was pronounced with most of the sulphur removed either to the slag or by gas reactions. the degree of dephosphorization was only 5% irrespective of the steel composition. On the other hand, denitrification (removal of nitrogen) was achieved. It ranged from 8% to 63% depending on the steel composition. the yield of the alloying elements and removal of impurities from the steel during ESR depends on the chemical and physical properties of the ESR slag and the activity of the elements in the molten state, taking into account elemental interactions.

this present study includes twelve species that represent the Ficus genus,namely;aspera,carica,tinctoria ***,hirta,hispida,neriifolia,palmata,pumila,racemosa,septica,sur,and sycomorus,belonging to the moraceae *** species samples were collected from various locations in *** study focused on the anatomical and molecular characteristics of mature foliage *** the identification and classification of taxa are highly dependent on the anatomical features of leaves,the anatomical characteristics were recorded in the form of a comparison between the examined plants in the data *** study aims to contribute to the identification of the studied species based on the anatomical details of the matured *** characterization includes the variations in upper and lower epidermal layers that are covered by a thin or thick cuticle;the number of palisade and spongy layers;crystals;secretory elements;lithocysts;the midrib zone has parenchyma associated with mechanical tissue,vascular system,and investigation of trichomes;on the other hand,in the current study,the phylogenetic analysis was conducted by using the ItS and 5.8 S *** the analysis of all the available data,it could be stated that there is an overall agreement with the anatomical character dendrogram.

the purpose of this work is to construct a new crossover operator using the properties of DNA and RNA by using topological concepts in constructing flexible mathematical models in the field of biomathematics. Also, we investigate and study topological prop- erties of the constructed operators and the associated topological spaces of DNA and RNA. Finally we use the process of exchange for sequence of genotypes structures to construct new types of topological concepts to investigate and discuss several examples and some of their properties.

BACKGROUND the February 6,2023,twin earthquakes in türkiye caused significant structural damage and a high number of injuries,particularly affecting the spine,which underscores the importance of understanding the distribution and nature of vertebral injuries in disaster *** to investigate the distribution of radiological findings of vertebral injuries in patients referred to a major tertiary center during the February 6,2023 twin earthquakes in tü*** With the approval of the institutional ethics committee,1216 examinations of 238 patients transferred from the region to a tertiary major hospital after the twin earthquakes of February 6,2023,were retrospectively analyzed for spine *** Spine computed tomography(Ct)scans were performed in 192 of 238 patients with a suspected spinal injury,42 of whom also had an magnetic resonance imaging(mRI).In 86 of 192 patients(44.79%;m:F=33:53)a spinal fracture was detected on Ct and in 33 of 42 patients(78.57%;m:F=20:13)a spinal injury was found on *** the 86 patients in whom vertebral injury was detected,fractures were detected in the Denis-B group in 33,Denis-C in 4,Denis-D in 20 and Denis-E in 11 *** the vertebral bodies:40"compression fractures",17"burst fractures",5"translational dislocation fractures",5"flexion-distraction fractures"and 58"prolonged forced fetal posture fractures"were *** addition,isolated transverse or spinous process fractures were found in eighteen *** Our study highlights the prevalence and diverse spectrum of spinal injuries following the February 6,2023 twin earthquakes in turkey underscoring the urgent need for effective management strategies in similar disaster scenarios,and emphasizing the"prolonged forced fetal posture"damage we encountered in earthquake victims who remained under the collapse for a long time.

Assessing the vulnerability of forest ecosystems in the climate change context is a challenging task as the mechanisms that determine this vulnerability cannot be directly *** on the ecological interrelationships between forests and climate,the present review focused on providing current information about vulnerability assessments of cork oak(Quercus suber L.)forests in the mediterranean basin,especially,in the Kroumirie region(northwest tunisia),currently under historic extreme drought *** comparing recent findings in this region,we synthesized data on cork oak decline and mortality collected during the historic drought years 1988–1995 *** change impacts cork forest decline,with special interest shown in elevated temperatures and drought;cork oak forest regeneration,and the adaptation of the Kroumirie forest to climate change,are reviewed *** studied region has been influenced largely by frequent prolonged drought periods,especially from 1988 to *** were found to consistently have a more detrimental impact on the growth and mortality rates of cork oak *** oak mortality was recorded for up to 63,622 *** the future,more research studies and observational data will be needed,which could represent an important key to understand ecosystem processes,and to facilitate the development of better models that project climate change impacts and *** study is useful for researchers and forestry decision makers to develop the appropriate strategies to restore and protect ecosystems,and to help anticipate potential future droughts and climate change.

Osteoarthritis(OA)has been defined as a chronic inflammatory joint disease characterized by progressive articular cartilage *** growing interest in regenerative medicine,using cell therapy and tissue engineering,where cellular components in combination with engineered scaffolds and bioactive materials were used to induce functional tissue *** the present study,nanofibrous scaffold based on chitosan(CS)/poly(vinyl alcohol)(PVA)were used to develop biologically functionalized biomaterial to mimic the extracellular matrix,allowing the human adipose tissue derived mesenchymal stem cells(ADSCs)to proliferate and differentiate to chondrogenic *** morphology of the nanofibrous mat was examined using field emission scanning electron microscope(FE/SEm).the characteristic functional groups and the nature of the chemical bonds between atoms were evaluated using Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FtIR)*** of the seeded cells was morphologically evaluated by scanning electron microscopy and by flow cytometry for the expression of the stem cell surface *** differentiation potential was verified after chondrogenic induction by analyzing the expression of chondrogenic marker genes using real-time(Rt PCR).Current study suggest significant potential for the use of ADSCs with the nanofibrous scaffolds in improving the osteoarthritis pathology.
