Worldwide,a majority of routine endoscopic procedures are performed under some form of sedation to maximize patient ***,benzodiazepines and opioids continue to be widely ***,in recent years,Remimazolam is gaining immense popularity for procedural sedation in gastrointestinal(GI)*** is an ultra-short-acting benzodiazepine sedative which was approved by the Food and Drug Administration in July 2020 for use in procedural *** has shown a favorable pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic profile in terms of its non-specific metabolism by tissue esterase,volume of distribution,total body clearance,and negligible drug-drug *** also has satisfactory efficacy and has achieved high rates of successful sedation in GI ***,studies have demonstrated that the efficacy of Remimazolam is non-inferior to Propofol,which is currently a gold standard for procedural sedation in most parts of the ***,the use of Propofol is associated with hemodynamic instability and respiratory *** contrast,Remimazolam has lower incidence of these adverse effects intra-procedurally and hence,may provide a safer alternative to Propofol in procedural *** this comprehensive narrative review,highlight the pharmacologic characteristics,efficacy,and safety of Remimazolam for procedural *** also discuss the potential of Remimazolam as a suitable alternative and how it can shape the future of procedural sedation in gastroenterology.

Generation of endurance time excitation functions using spectral representation method

In this study,application of the spectral representation method for generation of endurance time excitation functions is *** this method,the intensifying acceleration time series is generated so that its acceleration response spectrum in any desired time duration is compatible with a time-scaled predefined acceleration response *** this purpose,simulated stationary acceleration time series is multiplied by the time dependent linear modulation function,then using a simple iterative scheme,it is forced to match a target acceleration response *** is shown that the generated samples have excellent conformity in low frequency,which is useful for nonlinear endurance time *** the second part of this study,it is shown that this procedure can be extended to generate a set of spatially correlated endurance time excitation *** makes it possible to assess the performance of long structures under multi-support seismic excitation using endurance time analysis.

Inforence: effective fault localization based on information-theoretic analysis and statistical causal inference

In this paper, a novel approach, Inforence, is proposed to isolate the suspicious codes that likely contain faults. Inforence employs a feature selection method, based on mutual information, to identify those bug-related statements that may cause the program to fail. Because the majority of a program faults may be revealed as undesired joint effect of the program statements on each other and on program termination state, unlike the state-of-the-art methods, Inforence tries to identify and select groups of interdependent statements which altogether may affect the program failure. The interdependence amongst the statements is measured according to their mutual effect on each other and on the program termination state. To provide the context of failure, the selected bug-related statements are chained to each other, considering the program static structure. Eventually, the resultant causeeffect chains are ranked according to their combined causal effect on program failure. To validate Inforence, the results of our experiments with seven sets of programs include Siemens suite, gzip, grep, sed, space, make and bash are presented. The experimental results are then compared with those provided by different fault localization techniques for the both single-fault and multi-fault programs. The experimental results prove the outperformance of the proposed method compared to the state-of-the-art techniques.

Dynamic Stability of Passive Bipedal Walking on Rough Terrain： A Preliminary Simulation Study

A simplified 2D passive dynamic model was simulated to walk down on a rough slope surface defined by deterministic profiles to investigate how the walking stability changes with increasing surface roughness. Our results show that the passive walker can walk on rough surfaces subject to surface roughness up to approximately 0.1% of its leg length. This indicates that bipedal walkers based on passive dynamics may possess some intrinsic stability to adapt to rough terrains although the maxi- mum roughness they can tolerate is small. Orbital stability method was used to quantify the walking stability before the walker started to fall over, It was found that the average maximum Floquet multiplier increases with surface roughness in a non-linear form. Although the passive walker remained orbitally stable for all the simulation cases, the results suggest that the possibility of the bipedal model moving away from its limit cycle increases with the surface roughness if subjected to additional perturbations. The number of consecutive steps before falling was used to measure the walking stability after the passive walker started to fall over. The results show that the number of steps before falling decreases exponentially with the increase in surface roughness. When the roughness magnitude approached to 0.73% of the walker＇s leg length, it fell down to the ground as soon as it entered into the uneven terrain. It was also found that shifting the phase angle of the surface profile has apparent affect on the system stability. This is probably because point contact was used to simulate the heel strikes and the resulted variations in system states at heel strikes may have pronounced impact on the passive gaits, which have narrow basins of attraction. These results would provide insight into how the dynamic stability of passive bipedal walkers evolves with increasing surface roughness.

CVIP-Net: A Convolutional Neural Network-Based Model for Forensic Radiology Image Classification

Automated and autonomous decisions of image classification systems have essential applicability in this modern age ***-based decisions are commonly taken through explicit or auto-feature engineering of *** forensic radiology,auto decisions based on images significantly affect the automation of various *** study aims to assist forensic radiology in its biological profile estimation when only bones are left.A benchmarked dataset Radiology Society of North America(RSNA)has been used for research and ***,a locally developed dataset has also been used for research and experiments to cross-validate the results.A Convolutional Neural Network(CNN)-based model named computer vision and image processing-net(CVIP-Net)has been proposed to learn and classify image *** have also been performed on state-of-the-art pertained models,which are alex_net,inceptionv_3,google_net,Residual Network(resnet)_50,and Visual Geometry Group(VGG)-*** proved that the proposed CNN model is more accurate than other models when panoramic dental x-ray images are used to identify age and *** specially designed CNN-based achieved results in terms of standard evaluation measures including accuracy(98.90%),specificity(97.99%),sensitivity(99.34%),and Area under the Curve(AUC)-value(0.99)on the locally developed dataset to detect *** classification rates of the proposed model for gender estimation were 99.57%,97.67%,98.99%,and 0.98,achieved in terms of accuracy,specificity,sensitivity,and AUC-value,respectively,on the local *** classification rates of the proposed model for age estimation were 96.80%,96.80%,97.03%,and 0.99 achieved in terms of accuracy,specificity,sensitivity,and AUC-value,respectively,on the RSNA dataset.

Dependency of Deformation Behavior of Retained Austenite in TRIP Steels on Microstructural and Chemical Homogeneity

The room-temperature stability of the retained austenite against strain-induced martensitic transformation, its deformation behavior, the response to the bainitic isothermal treatment, the appearance of yield point elongation and other peculiarities of plastic flow, and the mechanical properties of transformation-induced plasticity（TRIP） steel were tailored based on the chemical homogeneity and the relative distribution of the retained austenite, bainite, and ferrite in the microstructure. The presence of ferritic-pearlitic banded structure in the initial microstructure resulted in an inhomogeneous TRIP microstructure, in which the retained austenite and bainite were confined to some bands and it was found to be responsible for the resultant inferior mechanical properties. The appearance of discontinuous yielding for the chemically inhomogeneous material was related to the martensitic transformation of unstable retained austenite at the initial stage of tensile deformation. These results are essential for better understanding of the behavior of advanced high-strength steels and their applications.

It is shown that if ExtR^J（N,HI^i,J（M）） ∈ S for all i 〈 t and all j 〈 t - i, then Ha^i（M） ∈ S for all i 〈 t. Let S be the class of all R-modules N with divmR N ≤ k, where k is an integer. It is proved that if Ha^i（M） ∈ S for all i 〈 t and all a ∈ W（I, J）, then HI^i,j（M） ∈ S for all i 〈 t. It follows that inf{i ： HI^i,j（M） S} = inf（inf{i ： Ha^i（M） S）： a ∈W（I,J）}.

Bipolar fuzzy soft mappings with application to bipolar disorders

Bipolar disorder is a neurological disorder that consists of two main factors,*** and *** are two main drawbacks in clinical diagnosis of the bipolar ***,bipolar disorder is mostly wrongly diagnosed as unipolar depression in clinical *** is,because in clinical diagnosis,the first factor is often neglected due to its approach toward ***,the element of bipolarity vanishes and the disease becomes ***,the types of bipolhr disorder are mostly misdiagnosed due to similar *** overcome these problems,the bipolar fuzzy soft set(BFS-set)and bipolar fuzzy soft mappings(BFS-mappings)are useful to tackle bipolarity and to construct a strong mathematical modeling process to diagnose this disease *** technique is extensive but simple as compared to existing medical diagnosis methods.A chart(relation between different types and symptoms of bipolar disorder)is provided which contains different ranges over the interval[-1,1].A process of BFS-mappings is also provided to obtain correct diagnosis and to suggest the best ***,a generalized BFS-mapping is introduced which is helpful to keep patient's improvement *** case study indicates the reliability,efficiency and capability of the achieved theoretical ***,it reveals that the connection of soft set with bipolar fuzzy set is fruitful to construct a connection between symptoms which minimize the complexity of the case study.

Uniform and Homogeneous Growth of Copper Nanoparticles on Electrophoretically Deposited Carbon Nanotubes Electrode for Nonenzymatic Glucose Sensor

The multiwalled carbon nanotubes thin-film-based electrode was fabricated by electrophoretic deposition and modified with copper （Cu） nanoparticles to fabricate Cu/CNTs nanocomposite sensor for nonenzymatic glucose detection. The expensive glassy carbon electrode was replaced by fluorine-doped tin oxide glass containing CNTs film to confine the Cu nanoparticles growth by electrodeposition through cyclic voltammetry （CV）. The ultraviolet visible and X-ray diffraction analysis revealed the successful deposition of Cu nanoparticles on the CNTs-modified electrode. The atomic force microscopy images confirrqed the morphology of electrodeposited Cu on CNTs film as uniformly dispersed particles. The electrocatalytic activity of electrode to the glucose oxidation was investigated in alkaline medium by CV and amperometric measurements. The fabricated sensor exhibited a fast response time of less than 5 s and the sensitivity of 314 μA rnM^-1 cm^-2 with linear concentration range （0.02-3.0 mM） having detection limit 10.0 μM. Due to simple preparation of sensor, Cu/CNTs nanocomposite electrodes are a suitable candidate for reliable determination of glucose with good stability.

A planar honeycomb monolayer of siligraphene （SIC7） could be a prospective medium for clean energy storage due to its light weight, and its remarkable mechanical and unique electronic properties. By employing van der Waals- induced first principles calculations based on density functional theory （DFT）, we have explored the structural, electronic, and hydrogen （H2） storage characteristics of SiC7 sheets decorated with various light metals. The binding energies of lithium （Li）, sodium （Na）, potassium （K）, magnesium （Mg）, calcium （Ca）, scandium （Sc）, and titanium （Ti） dopants on a SiC7 monolayer were studied at various doping concentrations, and found to be strong enough to counteract the metal clustering effect. We further verified the stabilities of the metallized SiC7 sheets at room temperature using ab initio molecular dynamics （MD） simulations. Bader charge analysis revealed that upon adsorption, due to the difference in electronegativity, all the metal adatorns donated a fraction of their electronic charges to the SiC7 sheet. Each partially charged metal center on the SiC7 sheets could bind a maximum of 4 to 5 H2 molecules. A high H2 gravimetric density was achieved for several dopants at a doping concentration of 12.50%. The H2 binding energies were found to fall within the ideal range of 0.2-0.6 eV. Based on these findings, we propose that metal-doped SiC7 sheets can operate as efficient H2 storage media under ambient conditions.
