A rational preparation strategy of phase tuned MoO_(3) nanostructures for high-performance all-solid asymmetric supercapacitor

In this work.phase and morphology-tuned MoO_(3) nanostructures are synthesized through a novel modified co-precipitation method,and their electrochemical properties are *** the first time,such a simple surfactant-assisted synthesis process aided by minor temperature variations is reported which results in phase transition of the nanoparticles from h-MoO_(3) nano-rods to a-MoO_(3) *** nanostructures thus developed are highly porous and crystalline with significantly large specific surface area as compared to previous *** theoretical bandgap energy of the optimized sample calculated using Perdew-Zunger local density approximation(LDA) is in good agreement with the experimental *** overall structural,morphological,and surface-behavioural analysis predicts the electrochemical superiority in 2D a-MoO_(3).The cyclic voltammetry and galvano-potentiometry measurements of 2D a-MoO_(3) in the potential window of-0.6 V to +0.2 V present the highest pseudosupercapacitive response with a maximum specific capacitance of 829 F g^(-1)at 2 A g^(-1)as compared to h-MoO_(3) (452 F g^(-1)) and h@a-MoO_(3) (783 F g^(-1)).Thus,the MoO_(3) 2D nanostructures synthesized through our novel synthesis technique display excellent specific capacitance as compared to previous reported ***,a-MoO_(3) exhibits a galvanostatic charging-discharging cyclic stability of about 91%after 2000 cycles,indicating that it can serve as an excellent electrode material for supercapacitors.A solid-state asymmetric supercapacitor device is successfully constructed using a-MoO_(3) which can light up 4 red LEDs for 10 *** specific energy density of the device reaches a maximum value of 36.3 W h k.^(-1)at the power density of 50 W k.^(-1).

Technological advancements in smart grid energy systems (SGESs) are introducing sustainable framework.to meet the demand for the fourth industrial energy revolution. These framework. are planned to be usedin the forthcoming future to maintain the energy network.operation with optimization, energy trading, gridautomation, and so on. Block.hain (BCn), developing after passing a diverse period of the research journey,comes to the mind of researchers and its integration in SGES paves the way to reach the goal of energydemand. However, still of interest is ongoing in the improvement of BCn features which can be regarded asthe next-generation block.hain framework. This paper exhibits the technical framework.of the next-generationBCn framework.and explores its benefits and challenges in performing the emerging aspects of SGES. Thisframework.enables some advanced features for the sustainable operation of SGES lik. smart metering, peer-topeer (P2P) energy trading, self-operation, and transparency. The technical explanation of this BCn technologyestablished on essential features and requisites is also presented in this paper from various points of viewwhich include smart mechanism, intelligent storage system, and interoperability. We also highlight the recentprogress and limitations of the current BCn framework.in SGES. Finally, some challenges towards integratingthe next-generation BCn technology in SGES are reported. This work.can provide extended support for thepractitioner and researcher in the context of BCn technology and SGES.

Oscillatory Shannon entropy in the process of equilibration of nonequilibrium crystalline systems

We present a study of the equilibration process of some nonequilibrium crystalline systems by means of molecular dynamics simulation technique. The nonequilibrium conditions are achieved in the systems by randomly defining velocity components of the constituent atoms. The calculated Shannon entropy from the probability distribution of the k.netic energy among the atoms at different instants during the process of equilibration shows oscillation as the system relaxes towards equilibrium. Fourier transformations of these oscillating Shannon entropies reveal the existence of Debye frequency of the concerned system.

Magnetic and flotation studies of banded hematite quartzite (BHQ) ore for the production of pellet grade concentrate

To identify and establish beneficiation techniques for banded hematite quartzite （BHQ） iron ore, a comprehensive research on BHQ ore treatment was carried out. The BHQ ore was assayed as 38.9wt% Fe, 42.5wt% SiO2, and 1.0wt% Al2O3. In this ore, hematite and quartz are present as the major mineral phases where goethite, martite, and magnetite are present in small amounts. The liberation of hematite particles can be enhanced to about 82% by reducing the particle size to below 63 μm. The rejection of silica particles can be obtained by magnetic and flotation separation techniques. Overall, the BHQ ore can be enriched to 65.3wt% Fe at 61.9% iron recovery. A flowsheet has been suggested for the commercial exploitation of the BHQ ore.

Enhancement of Urinary Elimination of 3-Bromobenzanthrone Metabolites by Oral Supplementation of Ascorbic Acid in Guinea Pigs

Objective 3-Bromobenzanthrone (3-BBA), an anthraquinone intermediate dye, is extensively used in textile industry. Since, our prior studies have shown that 3-BBA caused significant depletion of ascorbic acid (AsA) levels, the effect of exogenous supplementation of AsA on the urinary elimination of 3-BBA metabolites was investigated. Method Guinea pigs were treated with single oral dose of 3-BBA (50 mg/k. b. wt.) in groundnut oil while another group was treated with single oral dose of 3-BBA (50 mg/k. b. wt.) along with 3 day prior and post oral supplementation of AsA. Control groups were either treated with groundnut oil or AsA alone. Urine from individual animals was collected, extracted and analysed on HPTLC. Results The highest elimination of 3-BBA (75 mg) was found to be in 0-24 h urine fraction which decreased to 18 mg and 5 mg in the two subsequent 24 hourly fractions of urine. Exogenous supplementation of AsA increased the total urinary elimination of 3-BBA by almost 77%. A total of 10 fluorescent metabolites excluding the parent compound were eliminated in the urine of guinea pigs treated with 3-BBA. Densitometric scanning of chromatogram showed different peak. at Rf 0.18, 0.22, 0.27, 0.34, 0.40, 0.48, 0.56, 0.66, 0.72, 0.80, and 0.95 which were eliminated and mark.d as urinary metabolite 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, and 11 respectively. AsA not only significantly enhanced the elimination of 3-BBA metabolites but also modified the pattern of metabolites drastically in 0-6 h, 6-24 h and 24-48 h urine fractions. Conclusion These results indicate that AsA may be useful in protecting the toxicity of 3-BBA by fascilitating the urinary metabolite(s) excretion of 3-BBA.

A New Unified Electro-Gravity Theory for the Electron, and the Fundamental Origin of the Fine Structure Constant and the Casimir Effect

A rigorous model for the electron is presented by generalizing the Coulomb’s Law or Gauss’s Law of electrostatics, using a unified theory of electricity and gravity. The permittivity of the free-space is allowed to be variable, dependent on the energy density associated with the electric field at a given location, employing generalized concepts of gravity and mass/energy density. The electric field becomes a non-linear function of the source charge, where the concept of the energy density needs to be properly defined. Stable solutions are derived for a spherically symmetric, surface-charge distribution of an elementary charge. This is implemented by assuming that the gravitational field and its equivalent permittivity function is proportional to the energy density, as a simple first-order approximation, with the constant of proportionality, referred to as the Unified Electro-Gravity (UEG) constant. The stable solution with the lowest mass/energy is assumed to represent a “static” electron without any spin. Further, assuming that the mass/energy of a static electron is half of the total mass/energy of an electron including its spin contribution, the required UEG constant is estimated. More fundamentally, the lowest stable mass of a static elementary charged particle, its associated classical radius, and the UEG constant are related to each other by a dimensionless constant, independent of any specific value of the charge or mass of the particle. This dimensionless constant is numerologically found to be closely related to the fine structure constant. This possible origin of the fine structure constant is further strengthened by applying the proposed theory to successfully model the Casimir effect, from which approximately the same above relationship between the UEG constant, electron’s mass and classical radius, and the fine structure constant, emerges.

The major hindrances in the energy system are ecological consciousness, lack.of clean and sustainableenergy management, insufficient energy distribution–transmission–optimization, expensive power transfercosts, and increased customer k.owledge of energy charges. Thus why, universal access to the grid with highcybersecurity, and reliability is needed to solve all these challenges. The digital twin concept turns a newdimension of technology into the world. Electric Digital Twin grid can perform online analysis of the grid inreal-time and integrates all the past and present data and express the current grid status to the producers andconsumers and also predicts the future grid status. Thus, the power grid transmission loss and location of theoverheated line and power connection missing can be detected in addition decision-mak.ng and self-healingcan possible. The future prediction saves the power grid from small to long accidents such as power outagesand even black.ut problems. The whole consumers and nation feel relief from these types of accidents andsaves from large economic and business loss. The block.hain-enabled digital twin grid provides high securityfor the grid from cyberattack.. The paper conveys the framework.of the electric digital twin grid and theconcept of the DT grid processing and the way of serving the producer, prosumers, consumers even the wholenation in infrastructure, education, research, economic, business, and political development.

Effects of irregularity and initial stresses on the dynamic response of viscoelastic half-space due to a moving load

The present article deals with the stresses developed in an initially stressed irregular viscoelastic half-space clue to a load moving with a constant velocity at a rough free surface. Expressions for normal and shear stresses are obtained in closed form. The substantial effects of influence parameters, viz., depth （from the free surface）, irregularity factor, maximum depth of irregularity, viscoelastic parameter, horizontal and vertical initial stresses, and frictional coefficient, on normal and shear stresses are investigated. Moreover, comparative study is carried out for three different cases of irregularity, viz., rectangular irregularity, parabolic irregulariW and no irregularity, which is manifested through graphs.
