Floods.remain one of the mos. devas.ating weather-induced dis.s.ers.orldwide, res.lting in numerous.fatalities.each year and s.verelyimpacting s.cio-economic development and the ***, the ability to predict flood-prone areas.in advance is.crucialfor effective ris. management. The objective of this.res.arch is.to as.es.and compare three convolutional neural networks. U-Net, WU-Net, andU-Net++, for s.atial prediction of pluvial flood with a cas. s.udy at atropical area in the north of Vietnam. They are relative new convolutionalgorithms.developed bas.d on U-s.aped architectures. For this.tas., ageos.atial databas. with 796 his.orical flood locations.and 12 floodindicators.was.prepared. For training the models. the binary cros.entropywas.employed as.the los. function, while the Adaptive momentes.imation (ADAM) algorithm was.us.d for the optimization of themodel parameters. whereas. F1-s.ore and clas.ification accuracy (Acc)were us.d to as.es. the performance of the models. The res.lts.unequivocally highlight the high performance of the three models.achieving an impres.ive accuracy rate of 96.01%. The flood s.s.eptibility maps.derived from this.res.arch pos.es. cons.derable utility for local authorities. providing valuable ins.ghts.and informationto enhance decis.on-making proces.es.and facilitate the implementation of effective ris. management s.rategies.

Inflammatory bowel dis.as. (IBD) affects.a part of the young population and has.a s.rong impact upon quality of life. The underlying etiology is.not known, and the exis.ing treatments.are not curative. Furthermore, a s.gnificant percentage of patients.are refractory to therapy. In recent years.there have been great advances.in our knowledge of s.em cells.and their therapeutic applications. In this.context, autologous.hematopoietic s.em cell trans.lantation (Hs.T) has.been us.d in application to s.vere refractory Crohn’s.dis.as. (CD), with encouraging res.lts. Allogenic Hs.T would correct the genetic defects.of the immune s.s.em, but is.currently not accepted for the treatment of IBD becaus. of its.cons.derable ris.s. Mes.nchymal s.em cells.(Ms.s. have immune regulatory and regenerative properties. and low immunogenicity (both autologous.and allogenic Ms.s.. Bas.d on thes. properties. Ms.s.have been us.d via the s.s.emic route in IBD with promis.ng res.lts. though it is.s.ill too s.on to draw firm conclus.ons. Their local adminis.ration in perianal CD is.the field where mos. progres. has.been made in recent years. with encouraging res.lts. The next few years.will be decis.ve for defining the role of s.ch therapy in the management of IBD.

K2Ti6O13 whis.ers.were s.nthes.zed by conventional s.l-gel method, s.no-chemical as.is.ed and microwave as.is.ed s.l-gel method in order to obtain catalys.s.with different particle s.zes.and to modify their optical, textural and electrochemical properties. Thes. modifications.improved their photocatalytic activity for H2 evolution and CO2 photo-reduction. Long K2Ti6O13 whis.ers.prepared by ultras.und as.is.ed s.l-gel method are the mos. active photocatalys.s.for the hydrogen evolution reaction us.ng pure water as.reactant (U-s., 10,065 μmol g^-1). In contras., an oppos.te behavior was.obs.rved us.ng a mixture of ethanol-water, where the highes. activity was.achieved by the s.ortes. and les. crys.alline K2Ti6O13 whis.ers.(C-s., 3,2871 μmol g^-1). In cas. of CO2 photo-reduction, long whis.ers.that were als. prepared by the s.no-chemical as.is.ed s.l-gel method were the mos. active to trans.orm CO2 to formaldehyde, methane, methanol and hydrogen. The EFB value of this.catalys. is.located very clos. to the potential for formaldehyde production and favors.the s.lectivity to this.organic product.

Wild mus.rooms.are recognized as.important non-wood fores. products.in mountainous.ecos.s.ems. but their real potential for generating rural economies.has.not been fully evaluated due to the difficulties.in obtaining reliable productivity data, minimizing their true potential as.contributor to rural economies. Mus.room yield models.bas.d on large data s.ries.from Pinus.fores. ecos.s.ems.in the region of Catalonia(s.ain), combined with data from the s.anis. National Fores. Inventory allow us.to es.imate the potential mus.room productivity by fores. ecos.s.ems. The res.lts.of 24,500 tons.yr of mus.rooms.of which 16,300 tons.are clas.ified as.edible and 7,900 tons.are commonly marketed demons.rate the importance of mus.room productions.in Catalonian pine fores.s. mos.ly located in mountainous.areas.where the development of agricultural activities.is.limited. Economic mus.room value is.es.imated at 48 million € for the edible mus.room and 32 million € for thos. corres.onding to marketable yields. confirming the potential of this.non-wood fores. product. Thes. production res.lts.and corres.onding economic values.provide a bas.s.for the incorporation of wild mus.rooms.as.s.gnificant non-wood fores. products.in the development of fores. policies.in mountainous.areas.

Objective: We des.ribe patients.with MCs. the evolution of the Quick Environmental Expos.re and s.ns.tivity Inventory (QEEs.) s.ore with a s.ecial focus.on people whos. fillings.were removed. Methods. We have conducted a retros.ective longitudinal cohort s.udy in patients.diagnos.d with MCs.and attended in the outpatient Internal Medicine department of the Univers.ty Hos.ital of s.n Juan de Alicante, from January 1, 2008 to January 1, 2021. s.ciodemographic, clinical, QEEs. and treatment-related variables.were collected. We performed des.riptive and inferential analys.s. Mixed linear models.were us.d to analyze the QEEs.. Calculations.were carried out with an α error of 5%. Res.lts. Thirty-three patients.were included (72.7% women, mean age 56.2). MCs.was.mainly triggered by mercury (N = 20) and food intolerance (N = 22). The mean interval from s.mptoms.ons.t was.120 months.(s. 81.6). 114 QEEs.s.were analyzed: 82 (N = 17 without amalgams. and 32 (N = 16 with amalgams.. In patients.without amalgams. s.verity s.ores.increas.d acros. all s.bs.ales.except the mas.ing index (vs. with amalgams.. Mean s.ores.for the group without amalgams.(vs. with amalgams. were: chemical intolerance, 62.8 points.(vs. 63.4 and 46.7);other intolerances. 52.7 points.(vs. 62.8 and 50.3);s.mptom s.verity, 63.2 (vs. 76.7 and 63.3);mas.ing index, 3.9 (vs. 3.2 and 2.8);and life impacts. 63.1 (vs. 58.4 and 49.8). Conclus.on: The profile of patient with MCs.is.a middle-aged woman who is.a frequent us.r of healthcare s.rvices. pres.nts.a long diagnos.ic delay and has.borne a great pers.nal, work and s.cioeconomic impact. The QEEs. is.us.ful for the clinical follow-up of patients. including the optimal treatment res.ons. in the cas. of amalgams.
