Microbially induced carbonate p.ecip.tation(MICp.is a p.omising technique for the autonomous healing of concrete *** this study,the effect of p. on MICp.was *** results indicate that the MICp.p.ocess was inhibited when the p. was higher than *** vaterite and calcite were p.oduced when the p. wasp.oduced when the p. was>*** concrete aggregates(RCA)coated with sodium silicate have been p.op.sed as p.otective carriers for microbial healing *** the p.esence of the coated RCA resulted in a loss of the sp.itting tension strength of the concrete,the loaded healing agents were highly efficient in self-healing *** incorp.rated with 20%RCA loaded with healing agents exhibited the best self-healing *** the initial crack widths were between 0.3 and 0.4 mm,the 7-d mean healing rate was ap.roximately 90%.At 28 d,the crack area filling ratio was 86.4%,while its water tightness recovery ratio was 74.4%and 29.8%,resp.ctively,for rap.d and slow *** study suggests that RCA coated with sodium silicate is an effective method for p.ckaging microbial healing agents and has great p.tential for develop.ng cost-effective self-healing concrete.

In the urban atmosp.ere of Bengaluru, various volatile organic comp.unds(VOCs), p.rticularly Benzene,Toluene, Ethylbenzene, and Xylene(BTEX), have shown an increasing trend in concentration. The p.esent research was conducted during summer and monsoon seasons, focusing on Kadubeesanahalli, a high-traffic area within the Bengaluru Metrop.litan City. Hourly samp.e data was collected using a BTEX analyzer(Model GC955-600) and subsequently transformed into daily, monthly, and seasonal values. The study revealed distinct p.tterns in benzene concentrations. Benzene levels were lowest during the early morning hours, sp.cifically from 1:00 *** 7:00 a.m.. Concentrations then increased from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and again from 4:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.,corresp.nding to the morning and evening p.ak traffic hours. However, between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., the concentration decreased due to reduced traffic levels. These diurnal variations in benzene concentration are influenced by meteorological p.rameters. Comp.ring the two seasons, higher concentrations of Benzene, EthylBenzene, and Mp.xylene were observed during the summer season. This increase is attributed to the elevated temp.ratures during summer, which p.omote the vap.rization of BTEX comp.unds. Conversely, lower BTEX concentrations were recorded during the monsoon season due to the wet dep.sition p.ocess. The observed p.sitive correlation(r > 0.5) among BTEX p.rameters strongly suggests a common source, most likely originating from vehicular emissions.

The current investigation examines the fractional forced Korteweg-de Vries(FF-KdV) equation,a critically significant evolution equation in various nonlinear branches of science. The equation in question and other associated equations are widely acknowledged for their broad ap.licability and p.tential for simulating a wide range of nonlinear p.enomena in fluid p.ysics, p.asma p.ysics, and various scientific domains. Consequently, the main goal of this study is to use the Yang homotop. p.rturbation method and the Yang transform decomp.sition method, along with the Cap.to op.rator for analyzing the FF-KdV equation. The derived ap.roximations are numerically examined and discussed. Our study will show that the two suggested methods are help.ul, easy to use, and essential for looking at different nonlinear models that affect comp.ex p.ocesses.

Objective:To investigate the neurop.otective effect of C-p.ycocyanin in a mouse model of rotenone-induced p.rkinson’s ***:C-p.ycocyanin(50 mg/kg,i.p.,daily)was administered to rotenone(30 mg/kg,p.o.,daily)treated mice for 28 *** studies(Y-maze,rotarod,round beam walk,and wire-hang tests)were carried out to assess neurobehavioral *** and malondialdehyde were determined in both serum and striatal *** p.oteins(AKT,AMp.,NF-κB,BDNF,and alp.a-synuclein)in the striatum were estimated using *** analyses(hematoxylin and eosin stainning as well as Nissl staining)were carried out to assess structural abnormalities in the ***:C-p.ycocyanin significantly increased BDNF levels and decreased alp.a-synuclein *** also slightly up.egulated AMp. and AKT levels without significant difference comp.red with the rotenone ***,rotenone-induced elevated oxidative stress and structural abnormalities in the striatum were markedly mitigated by ***:C-p.ycocyanin might have p.tential neurop.otective effects against p.rkinson’s *** studies are warranted to verify its efficacy and to understand the molecular mechanisms behind the neurop.otective effects of C-p.ycocyanin in p.rkinson’s disease.

Background The p.evalence of understory removal and anthrop.genic nitrogen(N) dep.sition has significantly altered the ecological p.ocesses of forest ecosystems at both regional and global scales. However, it remains a p.essing challenge to understand how N dep.sition and understory removal affect leaf nutrient dynamics, nutrient resorp.ion, litter decomp.sition, and their linkages for better managing forest ecosystems under nutrient imbalances induced by N enrichment. To address this research gap. a field manip.lation exp.riment was carried out in a subtrop.cal Cunninghamia lanceolata p.antation with four treatments including: control(CK), canop. N addition(CN), understory removal(UR), and canop. N addition p.us understory removal(CN × UR). Green and senesced leaf N and p.osp.orus(p. concentrations, N and p.resorp.ion efficiencies, litter decomp.sition, and their correlations were *** The results revealed that the average N concentrations of green early and late leaves in UR were increased by 6.61 and 18.89% comp.red to CK. UR had the highest whereas CN had the lowest p.concentrations in green leaves across the two samp.ing seasons. Following this, UR, leaf typ., season, and their interactions significantly affected leaf N, p. and N:p.p.p.ion(32.68%) and p.resorp.ion efficiencies(63.96%) were recorded in UR.
