Scrub typhus is a neglected disease and one of the most serious health problems in the Asia-Pacific *** disease is caused by an obligate intracellular bacteria Orientia tsutsugamushi,which is transmitted by chigger bites or larval mite *** typhus is a threat to billions of people worldwide causing different health complications and acute encephalitis in infants and growing *** disease causes multiple organ failure and mortality rates may reach up to 70%due to a lack of appropriate *** available genome and proteome databases,and bioinformatics methods are valuable tools to develop novel therapeutics to curb the *** review discusses the state-of-the-art of information about Orientia tsutsugamushi-mediated scrub typhus and delineates the role of omics technologies to develop drugs against the *** role of proteome-wide in silico approaches for the identification of therapeutic targets is also highlighted.

This article explores the drilling behavior of polymer nanocomposites reinforced by Graphene oxide/Carbon fiber using a hybrid method of Grey theory and Principal component analysis(GR-PCA).An online digital dynamometer was employed for the evaluation of Thrust Force and *** image processing technique computes the *** surface methodology(RSM)considers the parameters,namely,drilling speed(S),feed rate(F),Graphene Oxide wt.%(G)in designing the experimentation *** component analysis(PCA)was used to tackle the response priority weight during the combination of multiple *** of variance(ANOVA)scrutinized the influence of parameters and intended the regression models to predict the ***-PCA evaluated the optimal parametric setting and remarked that feed rate acts as the most predominant *** higher feed rate and wt.%of G is responsible for surface damages like fiber pull-out,fiber fracture and cracks.A significant improvement in drilling responses has been obtained and also validates through confirmatory test and microstructure investigations.

Open Air Interface(OAI)alliance recently introduced a new disaggregated Open Radio Access Networks(O-RAN)framework for next generation telecommunications and *** disaggregated architecture is open,automated,software defined,virtual,and supports the latest advanced technologies like Artificial Intelligence(AI)Machine Learning(AI/ML).This novel intelligent architecture enables programmers to design and customize automated applications according to the business needs and to improve quality of service in fifth generation(5G)and Beyond 5G(B5G).Its disaggregated and multivendor nature gives the opportunity to new startups and small vendors to participate and provide cheap hardware software solutions to keep the market *** paper presents the disaggregated and programmable O-RAN architecture focused on automation,AI/ML services,and applications with Flexible Radio access network Intelligent Controller(FRIC).We schematically demonstrate the reinforcement learning,external applications(xApps),and automation steps to implement this disaggregated O-RAN *** idea of this research paper is to implement an AI/ML enabled automation system for software defined disaggregated O-RAN,which monitors,manages,and performs AI/ML-related services,including the model deployment,optimization,inference,and training.

A Cocktail of Natural Compounds Holds Promise for New Immunotherapeutic Potential in Head and Neck Cancer

Objective: To obtain detailed understanding on the gene regulation of natural compounds in altering prognosis of head and neck squamous cell carcinomas(HNSC). Methods: Gene expression data of HNSC samples and peripheral blood mononuclear cells(PBMCs) of HNSC patients were collected from Gene Expression Omnibus(GEO). Differential gene expression analysis of GEO datasets were achieved by the GEO2R tool. Common differentially expressed gerres(DEGs) were screened by comparing DEGs of HNSC with those of PBMCs. The combination was further analyzed for regulating pathways and biological processes that were affected. Results: Totally 110 DEGs were retrieved and identified to be involved in biological processes related to tumor regulation. Then 102 natural compounds were screened for a combination such that the expressions of all 110 commonly DEGs were altered. A combination of salidroside, ginsenoside Rd, oridonin, britanin, and scutellarein was chosen. A multifaceted, multi-dimensional tumor regression was showed by altering autophagy, apoptosis, inhibiting cell proliferation, angiogenesis, metastasis and inflammatory cytokines production. Conclusions: This study has helped develop a unique combination of natural compounds that will markedly reduce the propensity of development of drug resistance in tumors and immune evasion by tumors. The result is crucial to developing a combinatorial natural therapeutic cocktail with accentuated immunotherapeutic potential.

Optimal generation scheduling in power system using frequency prediction through ANN under ABT environment

In a competitive and deregulated power scenario, the utilities try to maintain their real electric power generation in balance with the load demand, which creates a need for the precise real time generation scheduling （GS）. In this paper, the GS problem is solved to perform the unit commitment （UC） based on frequency prediction by using artificial neural network （ANN） with the objective to minimize the overall system cost of the state utility. The introduction of availability-based tariff （ABT） signifies the importance of frequency in GS. Under- prediction or over-prediction will result in an unnecessary commitment of generating units or buying power from central generating units at a higher cost. Therefore, an accurate frequency prediction is the first step toward optimal GS. The dependency of frequency on various parameters such as actual generation, load demand, wind power and power deficit has been considered in this paper. The proposed technique provides a reliable solution for the input parameter different from the one presented in the training data. The performance of the frequency predictor model has been evaluated based on the absolute percentage error （APE） and the mean absolute percentage error （MAPE）. The proposed predicted frequency sensitive GS model is applied to the system of Indian state of Tamilnadu, which reduces the overall system cost of the state utility by keeping off the dearer units selected based on the predicted frequency.

Slip status of drill string is system generated binary value computed by comparison of sensor generated real time hook load value with a minimum threshold value of hook load stored in measurement *** research article describes a novel method of slip status detection by machine vision technology which helps overcome the constraints of slip status detection with legacy measurement *** also helps improve the real time drilling data quality and optimize and automate drilling operations.A method to detect drill string slip status with high-resolution digital camera installed on mast near rig floor is described along with backend vision processing and communication modules,which generate binary values of slip *** binary values are transferred in real time to drilling measurement system of rig to compute other drilling parameters like bit depth,hole depth and stand *** method includes deploying active optical sensors at the rig floor,obtaining 1-D,2-D,or 3D image data,and processing it to obtain the status of drill *** measurement of slip status by machine vision helps reduce non-productive time(NPT)by reliable real time surveillance of drilling operations.

The primary focus during surgery is to ensure successful implantation by achieving long-term and stable fixation of *** surgery is now more focused on the development of novel biomaterials intended to improve implant *** obtain a better understanding of metal implants,this article investigated the causes of material failures in certain cases and analysed a few case *** interaction between the implant and bone tissue was a crucial aspect of successful implantation,and this study explored the factors influencing this interaction as well as ways to improve *** modern approaches used for modifying implant surfaces were systematically illustrated and briefly *** spray coatings were often favoured because of their wide range of coating materials,but other substantial surface modifications(such as friction stir processing and laser surface texturing)were also used for a selection of ***,implant surfaces with desirable features,such as biocompatibility,antibacterial properties,corrosion resistance,and wear resistance,were essential for optimising implant *** systematic review's main aim is to provide exhaustive reference information and a broad overview to advance the production and design of orthopaedic implants.

Phyllanthus species plants are a rich source of phenolics and widely used due to their medicinal properties. A liquid chromatography–tandem mass spectrometry(LC–MS/MS) method was developed using high-pressure liquid chromatography coupled with quadrupole time-of-flight tandem mass spectrometry(HPLC-ESI-QTOFMS/MS) for the identification and characterization of quercetin, kaempferol, ellagic acid and their derivatives in ethanolic extracts of Phyllanthus species. The chromatographic separation was carried out on Thermo Betasil C_8 column(250 mm×4.5 mm, 5 μm) using 0.1% formic acid in water and 0.1% formic acid in methanol as the mobile phase. The identification of diagnostic fragment ions and optimization of collision energies were carried out using 21 reference standards. Totally 51 compounds were identified which include 21 compounds identified and characterized unambiguously by comparison with their authentic standards and the remaining 30 were tentatively identified and characterized in ethanolic extracts of P. emblica, P. fraternus, P. amarus and ***.

This paper presents the issue of the Sub-synchronous resonance(SSR)phenomenon in a series compensated DFIG-based wind power plant and its alleviation using a Battery Energy Storage-based Damping Controller(BESSDCL).A supplementary damping signal is developed considering the angular speed deviation and is incorporated into the BESS control ***-area Measurement System data is used to determine the angular speed deviation.A lin-earized system model is developed to perform eigenvalue analysis,and to detect and examine unstable SSR *** variation of wind speed and three-phase fault are also taken into consideration to validate the robustness of the *** further verify the efficacy of the proposed damping controller,time-domain simulations are performed using MATLAB/*** application of the proposed BESSDCL stabilizes all the unstable system modes effectively at wind speeds of 7 m/s,9 m/s,and 11 m/s,and at 40%,50%,and 60%series compensation levels,as well three-phase fault conditions.
