Recently,user recognitionmethods to authenticate personal identity has attracted significant attention especially with increased availability of various internet of things(IoT)services through fifth-generation tech.ology(5G)based mobile *** EMG signals generated inside the body with unique individual ch.racteristics are being studied as a part of nextgeneration user recognition ***,there is a limitation when applying EMG signals to user recognition systems as the same operation needs to be repeated while maintaining a constant strength of muscle over ***,it is necessary to conduct research.on multidimensional feature transformation that includes ch.nges in frequency features over *** this paper,we propose a user recognition system that applies EMG signals to the short-time fourier transform(STFT),and converts the signals into EMG spectrogram images while adjusting the time-frequency resolution to extract multidimensional *** proposed system is composed of a data pre-processing and normalization process,spectrogram image conversion process,and final classification *** experimental results revealed that the proposed EMG spectrogram image-based user recognition system has a 95.4%accuracy performance,which.is 13%higher than the EMGsignal-based *** a user recognition accuracy improvement was ach.eved by using multidimensional features,in the time-frequency domain.

BACKGROUND Atrial fibrillation(AF)is the most common arrhythmia developing in postoperative *** data are available regarding pre-operative risk factors and prognostic impact of post-operative AF(POAF)following hip fracture surgery(HFS)in Korean *** We aimed to investigate the incidence,predictors,and hospital prognosis of POAF in HFS *** This study included 245 patients without history of AF who underwent HFS between August 2014 and November *** was defined as new-onset AF that occurred during hospitalization after *** Twenty patients(8.2%)experienced POAF after *** developed on median post-operative day 2(interquartile range,1–3).Multivariable logistic regression analysis showed that age[odds ratio(OR),1.111;95%confidence interval(CI),1.022–1.209],ch.onic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD)(OR,6.352;95%CI,1.561–25.841)and E/e’ratio(OR,1.174;95%CI,1.002–1.376)were significant predictors of *** with POAF had a significantly higher intensive care unit admission rate(55.0%vs 14.7%,P<0.001)and incidence of congestive heart failure(45.0%vs 10.7%,P<0.001).In multivariable logistic regression analysis,POAF was significantly associated with increased incidence of congestive heart failure(OR,4.856;95%CI,1.437–16.411)and intensive care unit admission(OR,6.615;95%CI,2.112–20.718).CONCLUSION POAF was frequently developed in elderly patients following ***,COPD and elevated E/e’ratio were found as significant predictors of POAF in HFS *** with POAF significantly experienced intensive care unit admission and incident congestive heart failure during hospitalization.

Mech.nism of copper electrocrystallization on highly oriented pyrolytic graphite electrode from a solution of 1 mmol/L CuSO 4 and 1.0 mol/L H 2 SO 4 has been studied using cyclic voltammogram and ch.onoamperometry. The results show that in copper electrodeposition the ch.rge‐transfer step is fast and the rate of growth is controlled by the rate of mass transfer of copper ions to the growing centers. Reduction of Cu(II) ions did not undergo underpotential deposition. The initial deposition kinetics of Cu electrocrystallization corresponds to a model including progressive nucleation and diffusion controlled growth. Copper nanocrystals with size of 75.6 nm and relative standard deviation of 9% can be obtained by modulation potential electrodeposition.

Recently,urban high temperature phenomenon has become a problem which.results from human activities,the increase in energy consumption,and land-cover ch.nge in urban *** extremely hot weather caused by urban high temperature continues,demand for power is increased and results in the degradation of electricity *** current trend in climate ch.nge,regardless of the summer and winter power demand,is likely to have much.effect on the power ***,sensitivity to electricity consumption in urban areas due to climate ch.nge was *** results show that,1) the basic unit of the sensitivity to electricity consumption in the target areas is 1.25-1.58W/(m2-°C);2) The maximum sensitivity is recorded at around 8:00 pm in the area crowded with commercial and business *** in the business area,electricity consumption load is even from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.
