The magnetic properties,magnetic phase transition and magnetocaloric effects(MCE) of Er_(3)Si_(2)C_(2) compound were investigated based on theoretical calculations and experimental *** on the first principles calculations,the antiferromagnetic(AFM) ground state type in Er_(3)Si_(2)C_(2) compound was predicted and its electronic structure was *** experimental results show that Ei_(3)Si_(2)C_(2) compound is an AFM compound with the Neel temperature(T_(N) of 7 K and undergoes a field-induced firstorder magnetic phase transition from AFM to ferromagnetic(FM) under magnetic fields exceeding 0.6 T at 2 *** magnetic transition process of Er_(3)Si_(2)C_(2) compound was investigated and *** values of the maximum magnetic entropy change(-ΔS_(M)^(max)) and the refrigeration capacity(RC) are 17 J/(kg·K)and 193 J/kg under changing magnetic fields of 0-5 T,*** a potential cryogenic magnetic refrigerant,the Er_(3)Si_(2)C_(2) compound also provides an interesting research medium to study the magnetic phase transition process.

While price schedules can help improve the economic efficiency of renewable energy-powered microgrids,timeof-use(TOU)pricing has been identified as an effective way for microgrid development,which is presently limited by its high *** this study,we propose an evolutionary game theoretic model to explore optimal TOU pricing for development of renewable energy-powered microgrids by applying a multi-agent system,that comprises a government agent,local utility company agent,and different types of consumer *** the proposed model,we design objective functions for the company and the consumers and obtain a Nash equilibrium using backward *** pricing strategies,namely,the TOU seasonal pricing and TOU monthly pricing,are evaluated and compared with traditional fixed *** numerical results demonstrate that TOU schedules have significant potential for development of renewable energy-powered microgrids and are recommended for an electric company to replace traditional fixed ***,TOU monthly pricing is more suitable than TOU seasonal pricing for microgrid development.

Dry friction damping structures are widely-used in aero-engines to mitigate *** nonlinear nature of friction and the two-dimensional in-plane motion on the contact interface bring challenges to accurately and efficiently predict the forced response of frictionally damped *** state-of-the-art Multi-Harmonic Balance Method(MHBM)on quasi-3D contact model in engineering cannot precisely capture the kinematics on the friction interface although the efficiency is *** full-3D contact model can describe the constitutive relationship of the interface in a more accurate manner;however,the efficiency and convergence are not guaranteed for large-scale *** this paper,a semi-analytical MHBM on full-3D contact model is *** original Trajectory Tracking Method(TTM)for evaluating the contact force is reformulated to make the calculation more concise and the derivation of the Analytical Jacobian Matrix(AJM)*** on the chain rule of derivation,the AJM which is the core to upgrade the performance is *** a shrouded blade finite element model,the accuracy and efficiency of the proposed method are compared with both the MHBM on full-3D contact model with numerical Jacobian matrix and the MHBM on quasi-3D contact model with *** results show that the AJM improves significantly the efficiency of the MHBM on full-3D contact *** time cost of the proposed method is in the same order of magnitude as that of the MHBM on quasi-3D contact *** also confirm that the full-3D contact model is necessary for the dynamic analyses of shrouded *** one uses the quasi-3D model,the estimation relative error of damping can even reach 31.8%in some *** addition,the AJM also brings benefits for stability *** is highly recommended that engineers use the MHBM on full-3D contact model for the dynamic analysis and design of shrouded blades.

Organelle-targeted imaging can provide information on cellular functions and intracellular interactions,being significant for disease *** use of room-temperature phosphorescence(RTP)in organelle-targeted imaging can fully utilize its unique characteristics of long wavelength and deep ***,this technology has long been plagued by insufficient probe targeting and limited luminous *** this work,we prepared a series of complexes composed of multicationic persulfurated arenes and biomacromolecules via electrostatic interactions in 1:1 stoichiometry for high-contrast mitochondrial-targeted RTP *** an electrostatic interaction design effectively prevented the self-aggregation of the probes,which is not conducive to mitochondrial ***,it suppressed the non-radiative decay to the maximum extent,enabling the probes to exhibit strong RTP signals both in aqueous solution and at the cellular ***,the biomacromolecules can serve as carriers for an electrostatic interaction transfer of the persulfurated arenes to *** leads to high mitochondrial targeting Pearson's correlation coefficients of the probes and high-contrast RTP imaging effects,as well as the independence of the co-incubated probe *** results provide new insights for the development of targeted imaging technologies.

Ion substitution has significantly improved the performance of ferrite magnets,and cobalt remains a key area of *** on the mechanism of Co^(2+)in strontium ferrite,especially SrFe_(2n-x)Co_(x)O_(19-d)(n=6.1-5.4;x=0.05-0.20)synthesized using the ceramic method,showed that Co^(2+)preferentially enters the lattice as the Fe/Sr ratio *** results in a decrease in the lattice constants a and c due to oxygen vacancies and iron ion *** impact of Co substitution on morphology is minor compared to the effect of the Fe/Sr *** the Fe/Sr ratio decreases and the Co content increases,the saturation magnetization *** magnetic anisotropy field exhibits a nonlinear change,generally increasing with higher Fe/Sr ratios and Co *** changes in the performance of permanent magnets are attributed to the absence of Fe^(3+)ions at the 12k+2a and 2b sites and the substitution of Co^(2+)at the 2b *** suggests that by adjusting the Fe/Sr ratio and appropriate Co substitution,the magnetic anisotropy field of M-type strontium ferrite can be effectively optimized.

Ecosystem services(ESs)refer to the continuous provisioning of ecosystem goods and services that benefit human *** recent decades,rapid urbanization has exerted significant pressure on coastal ecosystems,resulting in biodiversity and habitat loss,environmental pollution,and the depletion of natural *** response to these environmental challenges,the Sustainable Development Goals(SDGs)were *** the pressing need to address these issues,understanding the changes in ESs under the SDGs is crucial for formulating specific ecological *** this study,we first analyzed land use and cover change in the Zhejiang coasts of China during 2000–***,we investigated the spatiotemporal configuration of ESs by integrating carbon storage(CS),soil retention(SR),habitat quality(HQ)and water yield(WY)using the Integrated Valuation of Ecosystem Services and Tradeoffs(InVEST)*** driving mechanisms of ESs,which varied by space and time,were also explored using the Geo-detector *** results revealed that,over the past two decades:1)the Zhejiang coasts have experienced a significant increase of 2783.72 km^(2) in built-up land areas and a continuous decrease in farmland areas due to rapid urbanization;2)owing to higher precipitation,extensive vegetation cover,and reduced anthropogenic disturbances,forests emerge as a crucial land use type for maintaining ecosystem services such as HQ,CS,WY,and SR;3)ESs have generally declined across the entire Zhejiang coasts,with a significant decrease observed in the northern areas and an increase in the southern areas spatially;4)the expansion of built-up land areas emerged as the primary factor affecting ecosystem services,while the vegetation factor has been increasingly significant and is expected to become predominant in the near *** study provides insights of understanding of ecosystem service theory and emphasizing the importance of preserving biodiversity for long-term sustainable development

Dynamics of perinuclear actin ring regulating nuclear morphology

Cells are capable of sensing and responding to the extracellular mechanical microenvironment via the actin *** vivo,tissues are frequently subject to mechanical forces,such as the rapid and significant shear flow encountered by vascular endothelial ***,the investigations about the transient response of intracellular actin networks under these intense external mechanical forces,their intrinsic mechanisms,and potential implications are very ***,we observe that when cells are subject to the shear flow,an actin ring structure could be rapidly assembled at the periphery of the *** gain insights into the mechanism underlying this perinuclear actin ring assembly,we develop a computational model of actin *** demonstrate that this perinuclear actin ring assembly is triggered by the depolymerization of cortical actin,Arp2/3-dependent actin filament polymerization,and myosin-mediated actin network ***,we discover that the compressive stress generated by the perinuclear actin ring could lead to a reduction in the nuclear spreading area,an increase in the nuclear height,and a decrease in the nuclear *** present model thus explains the mechanism of the perinuclear actin ring assembly under external mechanical forces and suggests that the spontaneous contraction of this actin structure can significantly impact nuclear morphology.

Carbon Fiber Breakage Mechanism in Aluminum(Al)/Carbon Fibers(CFs) Composite Sheet during Accumulative Roll Bonding(ARB) Process

We put forward a method of fabricating Aluminum(Al)/carbon fibers(CFs) composite sheets by the accumulative roll bonding(ARB) method. The finished Al/CFs composite sheet has CFs and pure Al sheets as sandwich and surface layers. After cross-section observation of the Al/CFs composite sheet, we found that the CFs discretely distributed within the sandwich layer. Besides, the tensile test showed that the contribution of the sandwich CFs layer to tensile strength was less than 11% compared with annealed pure Al sheet. With ex-situ observation of the CFs breakage evolution with-16%,-32%, and-45% rolling reduction during the ARB process, the plastic instability of the Al layer was found to bring shear damages to the CFs. At last, the bridging strengthening mechanism introduced by CFs was sacrificed. We provide new insight into and instruction on Al/CFs composite sheet preparation method and processing parameters.

Realizing campus sustainability requires the environmental-friendly and economical treatment of tremendous fallen *** fallen leaf biochar at a low temperature is a candidate *** this study,six common types of fallen leaves on the campus were pyrolyzed at 300℃.The obtained biochars were characterized and the adsorption mechanisms of lead(Pb)by the fallen leaf biochars were *** adsorption capacity of leaf biochar for Pb was relatively high,up to 209 mg/g(Yulania denudata leaf biochar).Adsorption of Pb onto active sites was the rate-limiting step for most leaf *** for Platanus leaf biochar,intraparticle diffusion of Pb^(2+)dominated owing to the lowest adsorption ***,the highest exchangeable Pb fraction(27%)indicated its potential for removing aqueous Pb^(2+).Ginkgo and Prunus cerasifera leaf biochar immobilized Pb by surface complexation and precipitation as lead ***,they were suitable for soil heavy metal *** study shed the light on the sustainable utilization of campus fallen leaves and the application of fallen leaf biochars in heavy metal remediation.
