Previous studies have shown that CCL2(C-C motif chemokine ligand 2)induces chronic pain,but the exact mechanisms are still ***,we established models to explore the potential *** experiments revealed that an antagonist of extracellular signal-regulated kinase(ERK)inhibited not only CCL2-induced inflammatory pain,but also pain responses induced by complete Freund’s *** posed the question of the intracellular signaling cascade *** experiments showed that CCL2 up-regulated the expression of phosphorylated ERK(pERK)and N-methyl D-aspartate receptor[NMDAR]subtype 2B(GluN2B);meanwhile,antagonists of CCR2 and ERK effectively reversed these ***-cell patchclamp recordings revealed that CCL2 enhanced the NMDAR-induced currents via activating the pERK pathway,which was blocked by antagonists of GluN2B and *** summary,we demonstrate that CCL2 directly interacts with CCR2 to enhance NMDAR-induced currents,eventually leading to inflammatory pain mainly through the CCL2-CCR2-pERK-GluN2B pathway.

Investigation of cracking mechanism of the first tunnel lining during double-arch tunnel construction

To solve the engineering problem of the first tunnel lining cracking caused by the second tunnel construction of double-arch highway tunnels,a research method combining distributed optical-fibre monitoring,inversion analysis and numerical simulation that can reflect lining cracking was *** fibres were laid on opposite sides of the steel arches inside the first tunnel *** optical-fibre monitoring was conducted continuously during the second tunnel *** on the fibre-optic strain profile,the lining cracking was deduced and warned in *** mechanical behaviour of the steel arch was investigated by the inversion analysis,which took into consideration the integrated impact of axial force and flexural moment.A two-dimensional(2D)load-structure method–based numerical model was established,considering the influence of different load distributions in each construction *** total strain rotating crack constitutive model was applied to reflect the cracking behaviour of concrete lining in the simulation,and the model was calibrated and verified in the *** analysis between the simulated strain distribution and the distributed optical-fibre monitoring results was carried *** deformation mode and crack distribution of the lining were *** cracking mechanism was ***,the second tunnel construction led to the loading at the top of the middle partition wall and the release of rock pressure in the first *** these load changes,the secondary lining of the first tunnel cracked on the inner side of the top of the middle partition wall owing to tension,and compression-bending failure occurred near the right arch ***,the influence of the parameters on the lining force was analysed,and a construction optimisation scheme was proposed.

Tweety-homolog 1(Ttyh1)is expressed in neural tissue and has been implicated in the generation of several brain ***,its functional significance in pain processing is not *** disrupting the gene encoding Ttyh1,we found a loss of Ttyh1 in nociceptors and their central terminals in Ttyh1-deficient mice,along with a reduction in nociceptor excitability and synaptic transmission at identified synapses between nociceptors and spinal neurons projecting to the periaqueductal grey(PAG)in the basal *** importantly,the peripheral inflammationevoked nociceptor hyperexcitability and spinal synaptic potentiation recorded in spinal-PAG projection neurons were compromised in Ttyh1-deficient *** of the paired-pulse ratio and miniature excitatory postsynaptic currents indicated a role of presynaptic Ttyh1 from spinal nociceptor terminals in the regulation of neurotransmitter *** with Ttyh1 specifically in nociceptors produces a comparable pain ***,in this study we demonstrated that Ttyh1 is a critical determinant of acute nociception and pain sensitization caused by peripheral inflammation.

Enhanced piezoelectric performance of Cr/Ta non-equivalent co-doped Bi_(4)Ti_(3)O_(12)-based high-temperature piezoceramics

In this study,(Cr_(1/3)/Ta_(2/3))non-equivalent co-doped Bi_(4)Ti_(3)O_(12)(BIT)ceramics were prepared to solve the problem that high piezoelectric performance,high Curie temperature,and high-temperature resistivity could not be achieved simultaneously in BIT-based ceramics.A series of Bi_(4)Ti_(3-x)(Cr_(1/3)Ta_(2/3))_(x)O_(12)(x=0-0.04)ceramics were synthesized by the solid-state reaction *** phase structure,microstructure,piezoelectric performance,and conductive mechanism of the samples were systematically *** B-site non-equivalent co-doping strategy combining high-valence Ta^(5+)and low-valence Cr^(3+)significantly enhances electrical properties due to a decrease in oxygen vacancy ***_(4)Ti_(2.97)(Cr_(1/3)Ta_(2/3))_(0.03)O_(12)ceramics exhibit a high piezoelectric coefficient(d_(33)=26 pC·N^(-1))and a high Curie temperature(TC=687℃).Moreover,the significantly increased resistivity(ρ=2.8×10^(6)Ω·cm at 500℃)and good piezoelectric stability up to 600℃are also obtained for this *** the results demonstrate that Cr/Ta co-doped BIT-based ceramics have great potential to be applied in high-temperature piezoelectric applications.

One-step construction of strongly coupled Co_(3)V_(2)O_(8)/Co_(3)O_(4)/MXene heterostructure via in-situ Co-F bonds for high performance all-solid-state asymmetric supercapacitors

Co_(3)V_(2)O_(8)/Co_(3)O_(4)/Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) composite was easily synthesized via one-step succinct-operated hydrothermal *** interconnected Co_(3)V_(2)O_(8)/Co_(3)O_(4) nanowires network can in-situ grow and anchor on the surface of Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) via the strong Co-F bonds and contribute tremendously to depress Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) *** from the synergistically interplayed effect among the multiple interfaces and high conductivity of Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) as well as outstanding stability of the as-designed nanostructure,the optimum Co_(3)V_(2)O_(8)/Co_(3)O_(4)/Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)electrode reaches a commendable specific capacitance(up to 3800 mF·cm^(−2)),great rate capability(80%capacitance retention after 20-times current increasing),and preeminent cycling stability(95.4%/85.5%retention at 7000th/20,000th cycle).Moreover,the all-solid-state asymmetric supercapacitor based on Co_(3)V_(2)O_(8)/Co_(3)O_(4)/Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) and active carbon can deliver a high energy density of 84.0μWh·cm^(−2) at the power energy of 3.2 mW·cm^(−2),and excellent cycling durability with 87.0%of initial capacitance retention upon 20,000 *** work provides a practicable pathway to tailor MXene-based composites for high-performance supercapacitor.

Heptagonal intramolecular-lock strategy enables high-performance thermally activated delayed fluorescence emitters

The development of highly efficient thermally activated delayed fluorescence(TADF)emitters is persistently pursued for the application of organic light-emitting diodes(OLED)in full-colour display and solid-state ***,we present a heptagonal intramolecular-lock strategy to design high-performance TADF *** a proof-of-concept,a new type of tribenzotropone(TBP)acceptor has been designed and synthesized by a cascade decarboxylative cyclization of aryl oxoacetic acid derivative with biphenyl boronic *** with the unlocked benzophenone(BP)acceptor,the TBP acceptor has a highly twisted heptagonal geometry with moderate rigidity and flexibility,which enables a high-performance TADF emitter with a small single-triplet energy gap(ΔE_(ST))of 0.04 e V,a high photoluminescence quantum yield(Φ_(PL))of 99% and a large horizontal orientation factor(Θ_(//))of 84.0%.Consequently,highly efficient OLEDs with an external quantum efficiency as high as 33.8% are assembled,which is significantly higher than those of DPAC-BP with a highly rotatable BP acceptor(23.8%)as well as DPACFO with a rigid fluorenone(FO)acceptor(6.9%).

Effect of diagenetic variation on the static and dynamic mechanical behavior of coral reef limestone

Coral reef limestone at different depositional depths and facies differ remarkably on the textural and mineralogical characteristics,owing to the complex sedimentary *** explore the effects of pore structure and mineral composition associated with diagenetic variation on the mechanical behavior of reef limestone,a series of quasi-static and dynamic compression tests along with microscopic examinations were performed on the reef limestone at shallow and deep burial *** is revealed that the shallow reef limestone(SRL)is classified as a porous aragonite-type carbonate rock with high porosity(55.3±3.2)%and pore *** comparison,the deep reef limestone(DRL)is mainly composed of dense calcite-type calcium carbonate with low porosity(4.9±1.6)%and pore *** DRL strengthened and stiffened by the tight grain framework consistently displays much higher values of the dynamic compressive strength,elastic modulus,brittleness index,and specific energy absorption than those of the *** gap between two types of limestone further increases with an increase in strain *** appears that the failure pattern of SRL is dominated by the inherent defects like weak bonding interfaces and growth lines,revealed by the intricate fracturing network and mixed ***,although the preexisting megapores in DRL may affect the crack propagation on pore tips to a certain distance,it hardly alters the axial splitting failure of DRL under *** stress wave propagation and attenuation in SRL is primarily controlled by the reflection and diffusion caused by plenty mesopores,as well as an energy dissipation in layer-wise pore collapse and adjacent grain crushing,while the stress wave in DRL is highly hinged on the insulation and diffraction induced by the isolated *** process is accompanied by the energy dissipation behavior of inelastic deformation resulted from the pore-emanated microcracking.

Deltamethrin(DEL),a commonly used pyrethroid pesticide,results in higher reactive oxygen species(ROS)levels in aquatic animals,which consequently unbalance the redox ***(PHL)is a flavonoid and a natural product promising to prevent or reduce pesticide-induced oxidative *** is a micro-crustacean widely used in marine hatcheries and an experimental aquatic organism for environmental toxicology *** research aimed to evaluate the toxicity of DEL on Artemia and the antioxidative effect of PHL against the *** show that 0.08-mg/mL PHL exerted its antioxidative effects on hatching percentage of the cysts in 24-h incubation and on body length and survival rate of Artemia in 12-d *** 12-d culture,12-,24-,and 36-h DEL exposure showed significant drops in SOD,CAT,and GSH-Px enzyme activities,and significant increases in ROS and malondialdehyde(MDA)levels in Artemia(Pmage by possibly regulating the Nrf2signaling *** study provided a theoretical basis for PHL to reduce pesticide-induced toxicity in aquatic animals.

SciCN:A Scientific Dataset for Chinese Named Entity Recognition

Named entity recognition(NER)is a fundamental task of information extraction(IE),and it has attracted considerable research attention in recent *** abundant annotated English NER datasets have significantly promoted the NER research in the English *** contrast,much fewer efforts are made to the Chinese NER research,especially in the scientific domain,due to the scarcity of Chinese NER *** alleviate this problem,we present aChinese scientificNER dataset–SciCN,which contains entity annotations of titles and abstracts derived from 3,500 scientific *** manually annotate a total of 62,059 entities,and these entities are classified into six *** to English scientific NER datasets,SciCN has a larger scale and is more diverse,for it not only contains more paper abstracts but these abstracts are derived from more research *** investigate the properties of SciCN and provide baselines for future research,we adapt a number of previous state-of-theart Chinese NER models to evaluate *** results show that SciCN is more challenging than other Chinese NER *** addition,previous studies have proven the effectiveness of using lexicons to enhance Chinese NER *** by this fact,we provide a scientific domain-specific *** results demonstrate that our lexicon delivers better performance gains than lexicons of other *** hope that the SciCN dataset and the lexicon will enable us to benchmark the NER task regarding the Chinese scientific domain and make progress for future *** dataset and lexicon are available at:https://***/yangjingla/***.
