Effects of intensive psychological intervention on treatment compliance,psychological status,and quality of life of patients with epilepsy

BACKGROUND Epilepsy is a nervous system disease characterized by recurrent attacks,a long disease course,and an unfavorable *** is associated with an enduring therapeutic process,and finding a cure has been *** with epilepsy are predisposed to adverse moods,such as resistance,anxiety,nervousness,and anxiety,which compromise treatment compliance and overall *** To explored the influence of intensive psychological intervention on treatment compliance,psychological status,and quality of life(QOL)of patients with *** The clinical data of 105 patients with epilepsy admitted between December 2019 and July 2023 were retrospectively analyzed,including those of 50 patients who underwent routine intervention(control group)and 55 who underwent intensive psychological intervention(research group).Treatment compliance,psychological status based on the Self-Rating Anxiety Scale(SAS)and Depression Scale Self-Rating Depression Scale(SDS)scores,hope level assessed using the Herth Hope Scale(HHS),psychological resilience evaluated using the Psychological Resilience Scale,and QOL determined using the QOL in Epilepsy-31 Inventory(QOLIE-31)were comparatively *** Treatment compliance in the research group was 85.5%,which is significantly better than the 68.0%of the control *** notable intergroup differences in preinterventional SAS and SDS scores were identified(P>0.05);however,after the intervention,the SAS and SDS scores decreased significantly in the two groups,especially in the research group(P0.05).After 6 months of intervention,the research group showed evidently higher HHS,CD-RISC,tenacity,optimism,strength,and QOLIE-31 scores(P<0.05).CONCLUSION Intensive psychological intervention enhances treatment compliance,psychological status,and QOL of patients with epilepsy.

The convenient synthesis of the composite electrode with high supercapacitance performance plays an important role in practical application but is ***, the carbon nanotubes（CNTs） coupled with lowcrystalline sulfur and nitrogen co-doped Ni Co-LDH（denoted as SN-Ni Co-LDH） nanosheets array are grown on Ni Co foam（NCF） substrate by two convenient steps of metal induced self-assembly and corrosion engineering,which present the advantages of operating at roomtemperature and low preparation costs. Benefiting from the S–N co-doping and low-crystallinity of Ni Co-LDH, the prepared SN-Ni Co-LDH@CNTs@NCF electrode presents a topping charge capacity of 2470 C·g-1(4.94 C·cm-2) at 5 m A·cm-2. Furthermore, the fabricated asymmetry supercapacitor（ASC） achieves an extraordinary energy density of 77 Wh·kg-1(0.617 m Wh·cm-2) at a power density of 438 W·kg-1(3.5 m W·cm-2) and outstanding stability(91% capacity retention after 5000 cycles at20 m A·cm-2). Impressively, the structure evolution of Ni Co-LDH during the charge/discharge processes has been thoroughly elucidated by in-situ Raman spectra. Therefore,this work verifies a powerful strategy and practical value for preparing composite electrodes with high supercapacitance performance, and also provides guidance for the rational design of the smart electrodes.

High quality repair of osteochondral defects in rats using the extracellular matrix of antler stem cells

Projected changes in Köppen-Trewartha climate zones under 1.5-4℃global warming targets over mid-high latitudes of Northern Asia using an ensemble of RegCM4 simulations

Mid-high latitude Northern Asia is one of the most vulnerable and sensitive areas to global warming,but relatively less studied *** used an ensemble of a regional climate model(RegCM4)projections to assess future changes in surface air temperature,precipitation and Köppen-Trewartha(K-T)climate types in Northern Asia under the 1.5-4℃global warming ***4 is driven by five CMIP5 global models over an East Asia domain at a grid spacing of 25 *** of the present day(1986-2005)simulations shows that the ensembles of RegCM4(ensR)and driving GCMs(ensG)reproduce the major characters of the observed temperature,precipitation and K-T climate zones reasonably *** and more realistic spatial detail is found in RegCM4 compared to the driving GCMs.A general warming and overall increases in precipitation are projected over the region,with these changes being more pronounced at higher warming *** projected warming by ensR shows different spatial patterns,and is in general lower,compared to ensG in most months of the year,while the percentage increases of precipitation are maximum during the cold *** future changes in K-T climate zones are characterized by a substantial expansion of Dc(temperature oceanic)and retreat of Ec(sub-arctic continental)over the region,reaching∼20%under the 4℃warming *** most notable change in climate types in ensR is found over Japan(∼60%),followed by Southern Siberia,Mongolia,and the Korean Peninsula(∼40%).The largest change in the K-T climate types is found when increasing from 2 to 3℃.The results will help to better assess the impacts of climate change and in implementation of appropriate adaptation measures over the region.

Structural basis of negative regulation of CRISPR-Cas7-11 by TPR-CHAT

CRISPR‒Cas7-11 is a Type Ⅲ-E CRISPR-associated nuclease that functions as a potent RNA editing ***-peptide repeat fused with Cas/HEF1-associated signal transducer(TPR-CHAT)acts as a regulatory protein that interacts with CRISPR RNA(crRNA)-bound Cas7-11 to form a CRISPR-guided caspase complex(Craspase).However,the precise modulation of Cas7-11’s nuclease activity by TPR-CHAT to enhance its utility requires further ***,we report cryo-electron microscopy(cryo-EM)structures of Desulfonema ishimotonii(Di)Cas7-11-crRNA,complexed with or without the full length or the N-terminus of *** structures unveil the molecular features of the Craspase *** analysis,combined with in vitro nuclease assay and electrophoretic mobility shift assay,reveals that DiTPR-CHAT negatively regulates the activity of DiCas7-11 by preventing target RNA from binding through the N-terminal 65 amino acids of DiTPR-CHAT(DiTPR-CHAT_(NTD)).Our work demonstrates that DiTPRCHAT_(NTD) can function as a small unit of DiCas7-11 regulator,potentially enabling safe applications to prevent overcutting and offtarget effects of the CRISPR‒Cas7-11 system.

Objective:To confirm the efficacy and safety of Ganyushu Granule(GYSG)in treating premenstrual syndrome(PMS)in patients with Gan(Liver)depression and qi stagnation syndrome(GDQSS)and determine its effective ***:From June 2018 to March 2021,a total of 240 PMS women with GDQSS were included and randomly divided into 3 groups in a 1:1:1 ratio using central block randomization:high-dose GYSG group(n=78,GYSG 2 packs/time),low-dose GYSG group(n=82,GYSG and its simulant 1 pack/time),and placebo group(n=80,GYSG simulant 2 packs/time).Treatment with GYSG or placebo was given thrice daily and for up to 3 menstrual *** outcomes were PMS diary(PMSD)score and premenstrual tension syndrome self-rating scale(PMTS).Secondary outcomes were Chinese medicine(CM)syndrome ***,PMTS,and efficacy of CM were evaluated with menstrual cycles during the treatment *** indicators were analyzed after each menstrual *** analyses were performed using an intention-to-treat method,and clinical safety was ***:Of the 216 patients included in the effectiveness analysis,70,75,and 71 patients were in the high-,low-dose GYSG,and placebo groups,*** the 2nd treatment cycle,the change in PMSD scores in the high-and low-dose groups was lower than that in the placebo group(P<0.05).PMTS scores in the high-dose GYSG group after the 1st treatment cycle was lower than that in the placebo group(P<0.05),while after the 3rd treatment cycle,that in the low-dose group was lower than that in the placebo group(P<0.05).After the 2nd treatment cycle,the high-dose GYSG group had the best CM syndrome efficacy(P<0.05).No serious adverse reactions were ***:GYSG was safe and well-tolerated at both doses for treating PMS patients with ***-dose GYSG might be the optimal dose for a phaseⅢtrial.

Reinforcement learning behavioral control(RLBC)is limited to an individual agent without any swarm mission,because it models the behavior priority learning as a Markov decision *** this paper,a novel multi-agent reinforcement learning behavioral control(MARLBC)method is proposed to overcome such limitations by implementing joint ***,a multi-agent reinforcement learning mission supervisor(MARLMS)is designed for a group of nonlinear second-order systems to assign the behavior priorities at the decision *** modeling behavior priority switching as a cooperative Markov game,the MARLMS learns an optimal joint behavior priority to reduce dependence on human intelligence and high-performance computing *** the control layer,a group of second-order reinforcement learning controllers are designed to learn the optimal control policies to track position and velocity signals *** particular,input saturation constraints are strictly implemented via designing a group of adaptive *** simulation results show that the proposed MARLBC has a lower switching frequency and control cost than finite-time and fixed-time behavioral control and RLBC methods.

Experimental study on combustion characteristics of supersonic combustor based on alternating-wedge strut

Acetone Planar Lase-Induced Fluorescence(PLIF)and OH-PLIF were employed to capture the fuel distribution and OH distribution downstream for the supersonic combustor based on the alternating-wedge *** combustion establishment process and combustion mode in the combustor under different fuel injection methods and different equivalence ratios were *** with the kerosene-PLIF and OH-PLIF results in the cavity combustor,a comparative analysis was conducted to understand the combustion characteristics and combustion modes between the alternating-wedge strut-based combustor and the cavity-based *** results show that the combustor is in weak combustion mode in the case of low equivalence ratio,and the combustor is in intensive combustion mode in the case of high equivalence *** lower limit of the equivalence ratio of the combustor to maintain the intensive combustion mode varies based on different fuel injection *** OH distribution under reacting condition has a strong correlation with the fuel distribution under non-reacting *** OH fluorescence signal near the injector is weaker when the fuel distribution is more *** injector position located at the base of the strut rear has better mixing performance,enabling the combustor to be in intensive combustion mode at a lower equivalence *** combustion reaction in the alternating-wedge strut-based combustor is not necessarily dominated by mass transfer due to the mixing enhancement and premixed zone downstream of strut,while the combustion reaction process in the cavity-based combustor is mainly influenced by mass transfer.
