This paper considers the class of autonomous algebraic ordinary differential equations(AODEs)of order one,and studies their Liouvillian general *** particular,let F(y,w)=0 be a rational algebraic curve over *** authors give necessary and sufficient conditions for the autonomous first-order AODE F(y,y′)=0 to have a Liouvillian solution over ***,the authors show that a Liouvillian solutionαof this equation is either an algebraic function over C(x)or an algebraic function over C(exp(ax)).As a byproduct,these results lead to an algorithm for determining a Liouvillian general solution of an autonomous AODE of order one of genus *** parametrizations of rational algebraic curves play an important role on this method.

Background:To compare two swept-source optical coherence tomography(SS-OCT)biometers,IOLMaster 700 and ***:This is a retrospective *** measurements of cataract patients performed between March and July 2021 in the Department of Ophthalmology,United Christian hospital,hong kong,were *** scheduled for cataract surgery were measured with both SS-OCT devices on the same *** following biometry parameters were compared:keratometry(k),total keratometry(Tk),axial length(AL),central corneal thickness(CCT),anterior chamber depth(ACD),lens thickness(LT),white-to-white(wTw)and the predicted intraocular lens(IOL)power to achieve *** assess the agreement between the devices,Bland-Altman analysis with 95%limits of agreement(LoA)were ***:In total,92 eyes of 47 subjects were measured with both *** were statistically significant differences between the two biometers for most measurements(Pk,AL and IOL power when using the right eyes for *** the left eyes,there were statistically significant differences in the measurements from the two biometers in all parameters except for flat and steep *** ANTERION did not obtain ACD,AL and LT in 2(2.17%),1(1.09%)and 5 cases(5.43%)***:The two biometers showed a clinically acceptable agreement in most *** showed significant differences in most parameters but not clinically relevant except for the Tk and wTw,and these two parameters should not be used interchangeably between the devices.

Clinical efficacy of rosuvastatin in lipid management in Chinese patients in hong kong

Background Rosuvastatin has been claimed to be more potent than other statins in its ability to lower the low-density lipoprotein （LDL） cholesterol levels. This study aimed to investigate the clinical efficacy of rosuvastatin in LDL cholesterol lowering therapy for new or switched hyperlipidaemic Chinese patients. Methods This study was a retrospective one in patients who took rosuvastatin in the outpatient clinics of Prince of wales hospital during the period of July 1,2004 to June 30, 2005. The prescribing pattern, the utilization pattern and the side effect profile were recorded. Attainment of lipid goals for each patient was assessed according to the National Cholesterol Education Program Adult Treatment Panel （NCEP ATP） III guidelines. Results A total of 261 Chinese patients （mean age （64.8±12） years; 55.6% male） were recruited into the study. The mean LDL-cholesterol level was （3.50±1.29） mmol/L prior to Rosuvastatin and （2.30±1.73） mmol/L after Rosuvastatin treatment （P 〈0.0001）. Rosuvastatin raised the LDL-cholesterol goal achievement rate from 28.0% to 74.3% in all patients combined （P 〈0.0001） and from 11.0% to 79.0% for statin naive patients （P 〈0.0001）. Approximately 4% of patients developed side effects including myalgia, elevated liver enzymes, and dizziness. Conclusion Rosuvastatin was effective in improving LDL-cholesterol goal attainment and lowering LDL-cholesterol and triglyceride （TG） levels in either newly started or switched patients.

The nonsolvated structure is composed of linear (1-D) chains of alternating [MnⅢ TPP] + and μ-[Me 2 DCNQI] with intrachain Mn···Mn separations of 12.83 , and a Mn N DCNQI distance of 2.18. The dihedral angle between the mean Mn(N 4 ) TPP and [Me 2 DCNQI].- planes, and the Mn (N C) DCNQI angle are 84.18° and 143.6°, respectively. [MnⅢ TPP][Me 2 DCNQI] has a T c of 4.3 k from the 10 Hz χ"(T) data, 2-k coercivity of 5,600 Oe, and 6,300 emuOe/mol remnant magnetization that are reduced from that observed for related materials, and their inclusion extends the magnetostructural correlation between the intrachain coupling and both the dihedral angle between the mean Mn(N 4 ) TPP and [TCNE]*- (TCNE = tetracyanoethylene) planes and Mn (N C) TCNE angles. This is in accord with the intrachain coupling arising from the overlap of the MnⅢ d z 2 -like singly occupied molecular orbital (SOMO) and the z component of the [TCNE]*-π* (πz *) SOMO, which increases with decreasing dihedral angle between the mean Mn(N 4 ) TPP and [TCNE]*- planes and Mn (N C) TCNE angle.

The three contemporary Chinese architects, namely Yung ho Chang, Liu Jiakun, and wang Shu, have often been labeled as the ＇avant-garde＇ or xianfeng architects in China. In response to the xionfeng architect labet, wang claims that he is a houfeng （rear-guard） architect because of his obsession with traditions. This paper aims to discuss the appropriateness of labeling these architects as ＇avant-garde,＇ xianfeng, or houfeng. Through the theoreticat anatysis of western discourse, notable attributes of the western architectural avant-garde are identified, and a tentative framework is developed to test its validity and usefulness in a non-western context. The term youleng is arguably a better phrase to describe these three Chinese architects considering the heterogeneous trajectory of modernity in China.

BACkGROUND Depression and anxiety were both ranked among the top 25 leading causes of global burden of diseases in 2019 prior to the coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)*** pandemic affected,and in many cases threatened,the health and lives of millions of people across the globe and within the first year,global prevalence of anxiety and depression increased by 25%with the greatest influx in places highly affected by *** To explore the psychological impact of the pandemic and resultant restrictions in different countries using an opportunistic sample and online questionnaire in different phases of the *** A repeated,cross-sectional online international survey of adults,16 years and above,was carried out in 10 countries(United kingdom,India,Canada,Bangladesh,Ukraine,hong kong,Pakistan,Egypt,Bahrain,Saudi Arabia).The online questionnaire was based on published approaches to understand the psychological impact of COVID-19 and the resultant *** standardised measures were included to explore levels of depression[patient health questionnaire(PHQ-9)],anxiety[generalized anxiety disorder(GAD)assessment],impact of trauma[the impact of events scale-revised(IES-R)],loneliness(a brief loneliness scale),and social support(The Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social support).RESULTS There were two rounds of the online survey in 10 countries with 42866 participants in Round 1 and 92260 in Round *** largest number of participants recruited from the United kingdom(112985 overall).The majority of participants reported receiving no support from mental health services throughout the *** study found that the daily cumulative COVID-19 cases had a statistically significant effect on PHQ-9,GAD-7,and IES-R *** scores significantly increased in the second round of surveys with the ordinary least squares regression results with regression discontinuity design specification(to control lockdown effects)confirming these ***
