We have studied the genotoxic and apoptotic potential of ferric oxide nanoparticles（Fe_2O_3-NPs） in Raphanus sativus（radish）.Fe_2O_3-NPs retarded the root length and seed germination in *** sections of treated roots showed subcellular localization of Fe_2O_3-NPs,along with the appearance of damaged mitochondria and excessive *** cytometric analysis of Fe_2O_3-NPs（1.0 mg/m L） treated groups exhibited 219.5%,161%,120.4% and 161.4% increase in intracellular reactive oxygen species（ROS）,mitochondrial membrane potential（ΔΨm）,nitric oxide（NO） and Ca2＋influx in radish protoplasts.A concentration dependent increase in the antioxidative enzymes glutathione（GSH）,catalase（CAT）,superoxide dismutase（SOD） and lipid peroxidation（LPO） has been *** assay showed a concentration dependent increase in deoxyribonucleic acid（DNA） strand breaks in Fe_2O_3-NPs treated *** cycle analysis revealed 88.4% of cells in sub-G1 apoptotic phase,suggesting cell death in Fe_2O_3-NPs（2.0 mg/m L） treated *** together,the genotoxicity induced by Fe_2O_3-NPs highlights the importance of environmental risk associated with improper disposal of nanoparticles（NPs） and radish can serve as a good indicator for measuring the phytotoxicity of NPs grown in NP-polluted environment.

The use of metamaterial enhances the performance of a specific class of antennas known as metamaterial *** radiation cost and quality factor of the antenna are influenced by the size of the *** antennas allow for the circumvention of the bandwidth restriction for small *** parameters have recently been predicted using machine learning algorithms in existing *** learning can take the place of the manual process of experimenting to find the ideal simulated antenna *** accuracy of the prediction will be primarily dependent on the model that is *** this paper,a novel method for forecasting the bandwidth of the metamaterial antenna is proposed,based on using the Pearson Kernel as a standard *** with these new approaches,this paper suggests a unique hypersphere-based normalization to normalize the values of the dataset attributes and a dimensionality reduction method based on the Pearson kernel to reduce the dimension.A novel algorithm for optimizing the parameters of Convolutional Neural Network(CNN)based on improved Bat Algorithm-based Optimization with Pearson Mutation(BAO-PM)is also presented in this *** prediction results of the proposed work are better when compared to the existing models in the literature.

Investigation of performance and emission characteristics using ethanol-blended gasoline fuel as a flex-fuel in two-wheeler vehicle mounted on a chassis dynamometer

This study investigated the performance and emissions of flex fuels in a 110-cc BS6-compliant fuel-injected two-wheeler without ethanol adaptation *** tests were carried out under controlled conditions on a chassis dynamometer at 1000,2000 and 3000 *** ethanol blends from 10%ethanol(E10)to 85%ethanol(E85).Parameters examined included brake power(BP)output,brake-specific fuel consumption(BSFC),peak in-cylinder pressure and exhaust ***,including carbon monoxide(CO),hydrocarbons(HC),nitrogen oxide(NOx)and unregulated emissions,were also *** the percentages of the ethanol blend increased from E10 to E85,there was a noticeable improvement in power *** 1000 r.p.m.,the BP ranged from 2.4 to 4.6 kW for different *** BSFC and the peak in-cylinder pressure followed a similar pattern,indicating enhanced performance and fuel efficiency with higher ethanol ***,using E85 at 1000 *** in a significant 41.08%reduction in exhaust temperature compared with E10,although this difference decreased with higher blend ***,replacing E10 with E85 at 1000 *** CO and HC emissions by 9.17%and 38.34%,*** contrast,NOx emissions increased at all *** with higher-ethanol blends,peaking at a 415 parts per million increase at 3000 ***,unregulated emissions decreased significantly with increased *** ethanol *** summary,the use of flex-fuel blends in a two-wheeler resulted in a modest increase in BP output,improved fuel efficiency and lower CO and HC *** findings are vital for optimizing ethanol blend utilization in two-wheeler engines under low-load conditions,considering both performance and environmental aspects.

SQL or NoSQL—Practical Aspect and Rational behind Choosing Data Stores

Data storage solutions are a crucial aspect of any application, significantly impacting data management and system performance. This article explores the rationale behind utilizing both SQL and NoSQL databases, addressing key questions about when each type is preferable. The background emphasizes the importance of selecting the appropriate database technology to meet specific application requirements. The purpose of this research is to provide a comprehensive guide for choosing between SQL and NoSQL databases based on various factors, including workload characteristics, scalability needs, and consistency requirements. To achieve this, we examine different strategies for implementing SQL and NoSQL databases in large-scale distributed applications and systems. The research method involves a comparative analysis of the features, advantages, and limitations of both database types. We specifically focus on scenarios involving read-heavy versus write-heavy systems and the trade-offs between availability and consistency. The results of this research indicate that SQL databases, with their relational structure and ACID compliance, are ideal for applications requiring complex queries and data integrity. In contrast, NoSQL databases, offering schema flexibility and horizontal scalability, are better suited for managing extensive datasets and high-velocity data ingestion. In conclusion, the selection of a database depends on the specific needs of the application. SQL databases are preferred for transactional systems with complex relationships, while NoSQL databases excel in scenarios demanding flexibility and scalability. The study provides insights into hybrid approaches, leveraging both database types to optimize system performance.

Optimizing Biodiesel Production from Karanja and Algae Oil with Nano Catalyst:RSMand ANN Approach

This study delves into biodiesel synthesis from non-edible oils and algae oil sources using Response Surface Methodology(RSM)and an Artificial Neural Network(ANN)model to optimize biodiesel *** of *** and Karanja oils is utilized,aiming to reduce free fatty acid content to 1%through single-step *** reveals peak biodiesel yield conditions:1%catalyst quantity,91.47 min reaction time,56.86℃reaction temperature,and 8.46:1 methanol to oil molar *** ANN model outperforms RSM in yield prediction *** impact assessment yields an E-factor of 0.0251 at maximum yield,indicating responsible production with minimal *** analysis reveals significant cost savings:30%-50%reduction in raw material costs by using non-edible oils,10%-15%increase in production efficiency,20%reduction in catalyst costs,and 15%-20%savings in energy *** optimized process reduces waste disposal costs by 10%-15%,enhancing overall economic ***,the widespread adoption of biodiesel offers economic,environmental,and social benefits to a diverse range of stakeholders,including farmers,producers,consumers,governments,environmental organizations,and the transportation *** among these stakeholders is essential for realizing the full potential of biodiesel as a sustainable energy solution.

Segmentation and classification of high spatial resolution images based on Hölder exponents and variance

Pixel-based or texture-based classification technique individually does not yield an appropriate result in classifying the high spatial resolution remote sensing imagery since it comprises textured and non-textured *** this study,Hölder exponents(HE)and variance(VAR)are used together to transform the image for measuring texture.A threshold is derived to segment the transformed image into textured and non-textured ***,the original image is extracted into textured and non-textured regions using this segmented image ***,extracted textured region is classified using ISODATA classification algorithm considering HE,VAR,and intensity values of individual pixel of textured *** extracted non-textured region of the image is classified using ISODATA classification *** case of non-textured region,HE and VAR value of individual pixel is not considered for classification for significant textural variation is not found among different ***,the classified outputs of non-textured and textured regions that are generated independently are merged together to get the final classified *** 1 m PAN images are classified using the proposed algorithm,and the classification accuracy is more than 88%.

Salp Swarm Algorithm for Solving Optimal Power Flow Problem with Thyristor-Controlled Series Capacitor

In this paper, a salp swarm algorithm(SSA) is proposed for solving the optimal power flow(OPF)problem of a power system with the incorporation of the thyristor-controlled series capacitor(TCSC). The proposed methodology is implemented for determining the optimal setting of control variables for the OPF problem, which includes the real power of generators buses, voltages of generator buses, reactive power injected by shunt compensators, and tap changing transformer ratios. The performance of the proposed approach is validated and tested on the standard IEEE-30 bus system and single-objective functions, including transmission line losses. The severity factor has been minimized and the result obtained is compared with the existing algorithms. Simulation results achieved with the proposed SSA approach demonstrate that it results in an effective and better solution for the OPF problem.
