Secure distribution of high-speed digital encryption/decryption keys over a classical fiber channel is strongly pursued for realizing perfect secrecy communication ***,it is still challenging to achieve a secret key rate in the order of tens of gigabits per second to be comparable with the bit rate of commercial fiber-optic *** this paper,we propose and experimentally demonstrate a novel solution for high-speed secure key distribution based on temporal steganography and private chaotic phase scrambling in the classical physical *** encryption key is temporally concealed into the background noise in the time domain and randomly phase scrambled bit-by-bit by a private chaotic signal,which provides two layers of enhanced security to guarantee the privacy of key distribution while providing a high secret key *** experimentally achieved a record classical secret key rate of 10 Gb/s with a bit error rate lower than the hard-decision forward error correction(HD-FEC)over a 40 km standard single mode *** proposed solution holds great promise for achieving high-speed key distribution in the classical fiber channel by combining steganographic transmission and chaotic scrambling.

＜正＞Brown adipose tissue（BAT） is a specialized tissue that can dissipate energy through the uncoupling effect of UCP1 and therefore is a therapeutic target to counteract obesity-associated *** identify genes activating the nonshivering thermogenesis of BAT,we performed RNA-Seq of mRNA samples collected from the BAT of cold-exposed mice（24h）（Bat-cold） and of mice kept at room temperature （Bat-normal） using next-generation sequencing technology（SOLID,Life Technologies）.We generated more than 2xl07 uniq-mapped tags for each sample;these tags were annotated to 15471 Bat-cold genes and 15202 Bat-normal genes based on mouse Ensembl *** identified 846 differentially expressed genes（q-value＜0.001,FC＞2,and absolute change＞50） by DEGseq program and found that 588 genes were down-regulated and 258 were up-regulated during cold *** up-regulated genes were over-represented in the Cholesterol Biosynthesis pathway and the Fatty Acid Biosynthesis pathway and the down-regulated genes were over-represented in the Apoptosis *** also considered genes expressed in intergenic regions of the mouse genome and identified about 5000 fragments in each *** results provide molecular evidence for the theory that during acute cold exposure the number of brown adipocytes increases through promoting proliferation and preventing apoptosis.

Outsourcing decision tree models to cloud servers can allow model providers to distribute their models at scale without purchasing dedicated hardware for model ***,model providers may be forced to disclose private model details when hosting their models in the *** to the time and monetary investments associated with model training,model providers may be reluctant to host their models in the cloud due to these privacy ***,clients may be reluctant to use these outsourced models because their private queries or their results may be disclosed to the cloud *** this paper,we propose BloomDT,a privacy-preserving scheme for decision tree inference,which uses Bloom filters to hide the original decision tree's structure,the threshold values of each node,and the order in which features are tested while maintaining reliable classification results that are secure even if the cloud servers *** scheme's security and performance are verified through rigorous testing and analysis.

＜正＞Bryopsis hypnoides Lamouroux is a siphonous green alga,and its extruded protoplasm can aggregate spontaneously in seawater and develop into mature *** chloroplast of *** is the biggest organelle in the cell and shows strong *** better understand this organelle,we sequenced and analyzed the chloroplast genome of this green alga.A total of 111 functional genes, including 69 potential protein-coding genes,5 ribosomal RNA genes,and 37 tRNA genes were *** genome size（153,429 bp）,arrangement,and inverted-repeat（IR）-lacking structure of the *** chloroplast DNA（cpDNA） closely resembles that of Chlorella ***,our cytogenomic investigations using pulsed-field gel electrophoresis（PFGE） and southern blotting methods showed that the *** cpDNA had multimeric forms,including monomer,dimer,trimer,tetramer,and even higher multimers,which is similar to the higher order organization observed previously for higher plant *** relative amounts of the four multimeric cpDNA forms were estimated to be about 1,1/2,1/4, and 1/8 based on molecular hybridization *** analyses based on a concatenated alignment of chloroplast protein sequences suggested that *** is located in a lineage with Oltmannsiellopsis viridis and Pseudendoclonium akinetum within the *** of the results suggest that the autonomy of the chloroplasts of *** has little to do with the size and gene content of the cpDNA,and the IR-lacking structure of the chloroplasts indirectly demonstrated that the multimeric molecules might result from the random cleavage and fusion of replication intermediates instead of recombinational events.

The human Genome Project(HGP)has paved the way for the Digital Personal Genomes(DPG),whereby a person’s complete genome sequence serves as the primary entry for the Digital Healthcare Systems(DHS).If the goal is to deliver PDG on demand,affordability,mainly the cost,becomes one of the primary ***,as a once-in-a-lifetime event,a total cost of US$100 is close to$1 per year ***,what remains is still largely an engineering challenge,since a multi-fold reduction of the current per-genome sequencing cost may be achievable by increasing the scale of operation and the degree of automation over 5–10 *** second issue is to differentiate scientific achievements from what is applicable to the healthcare systems and human well-being in *** original thought of HGP is to understand the genetics of cancers—an idea or a proposal was made and debated in the early 1980s,and it is still clear that we need both high-quality genome sequences and time to fully understand their encoded biological information;the success of HGP lies on the separation of these two goals.

The dynamic gain of a few-mode erbium-doped fiber amplifier(FM-EDFA)is vital for the long-haul mode division multiplexing(MDM)***,we investigate the mode-dependent dynamic gain of an FM-EDFA under various manipulations of the pump ***,we numerically calculate the gain variation with respect to the input signal power,where a modedependent saturation input power occurs under different pump *** under the fixed intensity profile of the pump laser,the saturation input power of each spatial mode is ***,high-order mode pumping leads to a compression of the linear amplification region,even though it is beneficial for the mitigation of the differential modal gain(DMG)arising in all guided ***,we develop an all-fiber 3-mode EDFA,where the fundamental mode of the pump laser can be efficiently converted to the LP_(11)mode using the all-fiber mode-selective coupler(MSC).In comparison with the traditional LP_(01)pumping scheme,the DMG at 1550 nm can be mitigated from 1.61 dB to 0.97 dB under the LP_(11)mode pumping,while both an average gain of 19.93 dB and a DMG of less than 1 dB can be achieved from 1530 nm to 1560 ***,the corresponding signal input saturation powers are reduced by 0.3 dB for the LP_(01)mode and 1.6 dB for the LP_(11)mode,*** theoretical and experimental results indicate that a trade-off occurs between the DMG mitigation and the extension of the linear amplification range when the intensity profile of pump laser is manipulated.

The epidemic situation of A H1N1 flu arose in North America in April 2009,which rapidly expanded to three continents of Europe,Asia and Africa,with the risk ranking up to *** May 13th,the flu virus of A H1N1 had spread into 33 countries and regions,with a laboratory confirmed case number of 5728,including 61 *** on IRV and EpiFluDB database,425 parts of A H1N1 flu virus sequence were achieved,followed by sequenced comparison and evolution *** results showed that the current predominant A H1N1 flu virus was a kind of triple reassortment A flu virus:(i) HA,NA,MP,NP and NS originated from swine influenza virus;PB2 and PA originated from bird influenza virus;PB1 originated from human influenza virus.(ii) The origin of swine influenza virus could be subdivided as follows:HA,NP and NS originated from classic swine influenza virus of H1N1 subtype;NA and MP originated from bird origin swine influenza virus of H1N1 subtype.(iii) A H1N1 flu virus experienced no significant mutation during the epidemic spread,accompanied with no reassortment of the virus *** the paper,the region of the representative strains for sequence analysis(A/California/04/2009(H1N1) and A/Mexico/4486/2009(H1N1)) included USA and Mexico and was relatively wide,which suggested that the analysis results were convincing.
