Cerebral ischemia is a major health risk that requires preventive approaches in addition to drug *** exercise enhances neurogenesis and synaptogenesis,and has been widely used for functional rehabilitation after *** this study,we determined whether exercise training before disease onset can alleviate the severity of cerebral *** also examined the role of exercise-induced circulating factors in these *** mice were subjected to 14 days of treadmill exercise training before surgery for middle cerebral artery *** found that this exercise pre-conditioning strategy effectively attenuated brain infarct area,inhibited gliogenesis,protected synaptic proteins,and improved novel object and spatial memory *** analysis showed that circulating adiponectin plays a critical role in these preventive effects of *** activation of adiponectin receptors by Adipo Ron mimicked the effects of exercise,while inhibiting receptor activation abolished the exercise *** summary,our results suggest a crucial role of circulating adiponectin in the effects of exercise pre-conditioning in protecting against cerebral ischemia and supporting the health benefits of exercise.

Characterization of isolated homogeneous hypersurface singularities in C^4

Let V be a hypersurface with an isolated singularity at the origin in Cn+1. It is a natural question to ask when V is defined by weighted homogeneous polynomial or homogeneous polynomial up to biholomorphic change of coordinates. In 1971, a beautiful theorem of saito gives a necessary and sufficient condition for V to be defined by a weighted homogeneous polynomial. For a two-dimensional isolated hypersurface singularity V, Xu and yau found a coordinate free characterization for V to be defined by a homogeneous polynomial. Recently Lin and yau gave necessary and sufficient conditions for a 3-dimensional isolated hypersurface singularity with geometric genus bigger than zero to be defined by a homogeneous polynomial. The purpose of this paper is to prove that Lin-yau's theorem remains true for singularities with geometric genus equal to zero.

Dear Editor,Machine learning(ML) approaches have been widely employed to enable real-time ML-based stability assessment(MLsA) of largescale automated electricity grids. However, the vulnerability of MLsA to malicious cyber-attacks may lead to wrong decisions in operating the physical grid if its resilience properties are not well understood before deployment. Unlike adversarial ML in prior domains such as image processing, specific constraints of power systems that the attacker must obey in constructing adversarial samples require new research on MLsA vulnerability analysis for power systems.

The diffeomorphic types of the complements of arrangements in CP^3Ⅱ

For any arrangement of hyperplanes in CP^3,we introduce the soul of this arrangement. The soul,which is a pseudo-complex,is determined by the combinatorics of the arrangement of hyper- *** this paper,we give a sufficient combinatoric condition for two arrangements of hyperplanes to be diffeomorphic to each *** particular we have found sufficient conditions on combinatorics for the arrangement of hyperplanes whose moduli space is *** generalizes our previous result on hyperplane point arrangements in CP^3.

Thom-sebastiani properties of Kohn-Rossi cohomology of compact connected strongly pseudoconvex CR manifolds

Let X1 and X2 be two compact connected strongly pseudoconvex embeddable Cauchy-Riemann （CR） manifolds of dimensions 2m - 1 and 2n - 1 in Cm＋l and Cn＋l, respectively. We introduce the Thom- sebastiani sum X = X1 X2 which is a new compact connected strongly pseudoconvex embeddable CR manifold of dimension 2m＋2n＋ 1 in Cm＋n＋2. Thus the set of all codimension 3 strongly pseudoconvex compact connected CR manifolds in C^n＋1 for all n ≥ 2 forms a semigroup. X is said to be an irreducible element in this semigroup if X cannot be written in the form X1 X2. It is a natural question to determine when X is an irreducible CR manifold. We use Kohn-Rossi cohomology groups to give a necessary condition of the above question. Explicitly, we show that if X = X1 X2, then the Kohn-Rossi cohomology of the X is the product of those Kohn-Rossi cohomology coming from X1 and X2 provided that X2 admits a transversal holomorphic sl-action.

This paper deals with a reducible sl(2,C)action on the formal power series *** purpose of this paper is to confirm a special case of the yau conjecture:suppose that sl(2,C)acts on the formal power series ring via(1.1).Then I(f)=(li 1 )⊕(il2 )⊕···⊕(lis)modulo some one dimensional sl(2,C)representations where(i)is an irreducible sl(2,C)representation of i dimension and{li1 ,li2 ,...,lis }{ll1,ll2,...,lr}.Unlike classical invariant theory which deals only with irreducible action and 1-dimensional representations,we treat the reducible action and higher dimensional representations successively.

Attribute-Based signature with Policy-and-Endorsement Mechanism

In this paper a new signature scheme,called Policy-Endorsing Attribute-Based signature,is developed to correspond with the existing Ciphertext-Policy Attribute-Based *** signature provides a policy-and-endorsement *** this mechanism a single user,whose attributes satisfy the predicate,endorses the *** signature allows the signer to announce his endorsement using an access policy without having to reveal the identity of the *** security of this signature,selfless anonymity and existential unforgeability,is based on the strong Diffie-Hellman assumption and the Decision Linear assumption in bilinear map groups.
