Monitoring taste-inducing ions and molecules continuously in liquids or solutions is of great considerable matter for the realization of the electronic tongue(E-tongue).Particularly from the five major tastes,the highly selective,sensitive detection of Na^(+)in real-time is *** is due to the saltiness of food is the key ingredient in most ***,existing Na^(+)detecting devices have relatively low performances of selectivity,sensitivity,and lack of on–off ***,conventional devices significantly deteriorate in capac-ity due to repetitive usage or lifetime shortage by degradation of the sensing ***,a graphene-based channel was rationally designed by the facile decoration of Calix[4]arene and Nafion to address this *** act as a receptor and a molecular sieve,respectively,to enhance selectivity and sensitivity and elon-gate the life expectancy of the *** device was merged with a microfluidic channel to control the injection and withdrawal of solutions to fulfill dynamic on–off *** fabricated device has highly selective,sensitive Na^(+)detection properties compared to other 10 molecule/ionic *** on–off functions of the device were available,also possesses a long lifespan of at least 220 ***,it can precisely discriminate real beverages containing Na^(+),which can be observed by principal component analysis *** features offer the possibility of ascending to a platform for E-tongues in near future.

The development of new heterostructures with high photoactivity is a breakthrough for the limitation of solar-driven water ***,we first introduce indium oxide(In_(2)O_(3))nanorods(NRs)as a novel electron transport layer for bismuth vanadate(BiVO_(4))with a short charge diffusion ***_(2)O_(3)NRs reinforce the electron transport and hole blocking of BiVO_(4),surpassing the state-of-the-art photoelectrochemical performances of BiVO_(4)-based ***,a tannin-nickel-iron complex(TANF)is used as an oxygen evolution catalyst to speed up the reaction *** final TANF/BiVO_(4)/In_(2)O_(3)NR photoanode generates photocurrent densities of 7.1 mAcm^(−2) in sulfite oxidation and 4.2 mA cm^(−2) in water oxidation at 1.23 V versus the reversible hydrogen ***,the“artificial leaf,”which is a tandem cell with a perovskite/silicon solar cell,shows a solar-to-hydrogen conversion efficiency of 6.2%for unbiased solar water *** reveal significant advances in the photoactivity of TANF/BiVO_(4)/In_(2)O_(3)NRs from the tailored nanostructure and band structure for charge dynamics.

Suboptimal Feature Selection Techniques for Effective Malicious Traffic Detection on Lightweight Devices

With the advancement of wireless network technology,vast amounts of traffic have been generated,and malicious traffic attacks that threaten the network environment are becoming increasingly *** signature-based detection methods,static analysis,and dynamic analysis techniques have been previously explored for malicious traffic detection,they have limitations in identifying diversified malware traffic *** research has been focused on the application of machine learning to detect these ***,applying machine learning to lightweight devices like IoT devices is challenging because of the high computational demands and complexity involved in the learning *** this study,we examined methods for effectively utilizing machine learning-based malicious traffic detection approaches for lightweight *** introduced the suboptimal feature selection model(SFSM),a feature selection technique designed to reduce complexity while maintaining the effectiveness of malicious traffic *** performance was evaluated on various malicious traffic,benign,exploits,and generic,using the UNSW-NB15 dataset and SFSM sub-optimized hyperparameters for feature selection and narrowed the search scope to encompass all *** improved learning performance while minimizing complexity by considering feature selection and exhaustive search as two steps,a problem not considered in conventional *** experimental results showed that the detection accuracy was improved by approximately 20%compared to the random model,and the reduction in accuracy compared to the greedy model,which performs an exhaustive search on all features,was kept within 6%.Additionally,latency and complexity were reduced by approximately 96%and 99.78%,respectively,compared to the greedy *** study demonstrates that malicious traffic can be effectively detected even in lightweight device *** verified the possibility of detecting various attack

Analysis of expanded criteria to select candidates for active surveillance of low-risk prostate cancer

We aimed to analyze the value of each criterion for clinically insignificant prostate cancer （PCa） in the selection of men for active surveillance （AS） of low-risk PCa. We identified 532 men who were treated with radical prostatectomy from 2006 to 2013 who met 4 or all 5 of the criteria for clinically insignificant PCa （clinical stage 〈 T1, prostate specific antigen [PSA] density 0.15, biopsy Gleason score 〈 6, number of positive biopsy cores 〈 2, and no core with 〉 50% involvement） and analyzed their pathologic and biochemical outcomes. Patients who met all 5 criteria for clinically insignificant PCa were designated as group A （n -- 172）, and those who met 4 of 5 criteria were designated as group B （n = 360）. The association of each criterion with adverse pathologic features was assessed via logistic regression analyses. Comparison of group A and B and also logistic regression analyses showed that PSA density 0.15 ng ml-1 and high （〉7） biopsy Gleason score were associated with adverse pathologic features. Higher （〉 Tlc） clinical stage was not associated with any adverse pathologic features. Although 〈 3 positive cores were not associated with any adverse pathology, 〉4 positive cores were associated with higher risk of extracapsular extension. Among potential candidates for AS, PSA density ~ 0.15 ng ml-~ and biopsy Gleason score ~ 6 pose significantly higher risks of harboring more aggressive disease. The eligibility criteria for AS may be expanded to include men with clinical stage T2 tumor and 3 positive cores.

Calculation of the intake retention fraction and dose coefficients in ^99mTc-labelled compound for internal exposure for medical workers

For recent decades, a considerable amount of 99mTc has been stimulated for diagnosis radiopharmaceuticals because of its physical advantages. The increase in the use of 99mTc makes naturally more chances of internal exposure for not only patients but also medical workers. The patient internal exposure by an intravenous injection has been assessed relatively well with the reports of International Commission on Radiological Protection (ICRP) or Medical Internal Radiation Dose(MIRD). However, there are few studies which can support its accurate assessment for medical worker who treats 99mTc. In spite of the absence of information, the physiological information of each 99mTc-labelled compound for patient, provided by ICRP, can be used optionally for worker exposure because the behaviors after uptake to blood are similar for patient and worker. Using the data, in this study, the data for bioassay were given as the intake whole-body retention and urinary excretion function. We selected the two most frequently used 99mTc-labelled compounds based on statistical data;99mTc-phosphonate, pertechnetate. The data of the Human Alimentary Tract Model (HATM, publication 100) and the revised Human Respiratory Tract Model (revised HRTM, OIR) were used for compartment models which depict the physiological behavior in body after intake. In case of 99mTc-phosphonate, we adopted the systemic model for patient intake described in ICRP publication 53 based on the assumption that the behaviors after uptake to blood are similar for patient and worker. On the other hand, recent updated systemic model in OIR report could be directly adopted for pertechnetate. We used Birchall's algorithm for calculation and developed the module which could calculate the retention amounts in each compartment at given time by MATLAB. Optimal p-Ary Codes from One-Weight and Two-Weight Codes over IF_p+ vIF_p

This paper is devoted to determining the structures and properties of one-lee weight codes and two-lee weight projective codes Ck1,k2,k3 over p IF+ v IFp with type p2k1pk2pk3. The authors introduce a distance-preserving Gray map from( IFp + v IFp)nto2np. By the Gray map, the authors construct a family of optimal one-Hamming weight p-ary linear codes from one-lee weight codes over IFp+ v IFp, which attain the Plotkin bound and the Griesmer bound. The authors also obtain a class of optimal p-ary linear codes from two-lee weight projective codes over IFp + vIFp, which meet the Griesmer bound.

Currently, sixty-five original sprinkle drug products are available in various dosage forms including tablets, powders, granules, immediate-release capsules, extended-release capsules, delayed-release capsules, and multiparticulate drug delivery systems. By sprinkling on soft food vehicles, these products provide dosing flexibility and convenience of administration, which potentially improve the compliance of patients with *** to these advantages, the growth of sprinkle products picked up since the 1990s, and several regulatory issues regarding this dosage form have been raised and *** this article, the types of sprinkle formulations were discussed by dividing them into seven categories, and the commercial products were summarized in terms of the drug substance, pharmaceutical excipients, storage conditions and administration methods. In addition, several US Food and Drug Administration guidelines related to the regulatory issues of sprinkle formulations were reviewed, which led to the conclusion that the future development of this promising dosage form demands integrated guidance for industry rather than scattered information in various documents.
