Research on synthesis,characterization and determination of processing-structure-property relationships of commercially important ferroelectric thin films has been *** sol-gel type solution deposition technique was applied to produce good quality thin films of Ba_(0.6)Sr_(0.4)tiO_(3)(BSt60/40)chemical composition on the stainless steel *** thin films were characterized in terms of their microstructure,crystal structure,phase composition,piezoelectric and dielectric *** was found that the BSt60/40 thin film adopted the cubic structure at room temperature with an elementary cell parameter a-3:971e8tÅ.Morphology of the thin film surface was studied with Atomic Force Microscopy(AFM).Average roughness of the thin films surface was found(Sa=0:055μm).Piezoresponse Force Microscopy(PFM)was applied for the thin film *** piezoelectric regions were found in BSt60/40 thin ***,dielectric response measured at room temperature was studied in assumption of piezoelectric electric equivalent circuit.

Elastomeric polyurethanes were prepared from a reference polyurethane system modified with biobased polyols synthesized using rapeseed or palm *** reference material was modified by replacement of the commercial polyol by 10%of biopolyols and also by addition of sisal fibers up to 5 wt%.the higher functionality of the biopolyols increased the crosslinking density of the networks and this was reflected by an increase in hardness and a decrease in water *** effect of the sisal fibers mainly improved the mechanical and thermomechanical properties of the system with rapeseed oil because of good dispersion and strong fiber-matrix *** system containing palm oil polyol corresponded to an initial formulation of high viscosity and,consequently,the resulting composites presented lower densities than the theoretically expected *** results are associated with fiber dispersion problems in the initial reactive mixture.

AIM： to assess the usefulness of two independent histopathological classifications of rectal cancer regression following neo-adjuvant therapy. MEtHODS： Forty patients at the initial stage ct3NxM0 submitted to preoperative radiotherapy （42 Gy during 18 d） and then to radical surgical treatment. the relationship between ＂t-downstaging＂ versus regressive changes expressed by tumor regression grade （tRG 1-5） and Nasierowska-Guttmejer classification （NG 1-3） was studied as well as the relationship between tRG and NG versus local tumor stage ypt and lymph nodes status, ypN. RESULtS： Complete regression （ypt0, tRG 1） was found in one patient. ＂t-downstaging＂ was observed in 11 （27.5%） patients. there was a weak statistical significance of the relationship between ＂t-downstaging＂ and tRG staging and NG stage. Patients with ypt1 were diagnosed as tRG 2-3 while those with ypt3 as tRGS. No lymph node metastases were found in patients with tRG 1-2. None of the patients without lymph node metastases were diagnosed as tRG 5. Patients in the ypt1 stage were NG 1-2. No lymph node metastases were found in NG 1. there was a significant correlation between tRG and NG. CONCLUSION： Histopathological classifications may be useful in the monitoring of the effects of hyperfractionated preoperative radiotherapy in patients with rectal cancer at the stage of ct3NxM0. there is no unequivocal relationship between ＂todownstaging＂ and tRG and NG. there is some concordance in the assessment of lymph node status with ypt, tRG and NG. tRG and NG are of limited value for the risk assessment of the lymph node involvement.

In order to improve competitive ability of market, mo torcycle enterprises, special the small and middle sized ones must use It to org anize social resource and adopt effective production mode, namely the dispersed networked design and manufacturing (DNDM), which was put forward and proved to b e one of vitality production modes in recent years. In responding to the new pro duction mode of VMCE, a dispersed networked CAD/CAM system (DNCADMS) of motorcyc le products should be developed. the objective of this paper is to investigate a new design and manufacturing mode and technical environment of motorcycle produ ction based on the concept of the DNDM for the small and meddle sized motorcycle enterprises. Because there are various CAx software systems, including differen t kinds of isolated CD, CAD, CAE, CAPP, CAM, PDM, and so on, are used at differe nt stages of the life period of motorcycle products under heterogeneous environm ents, to build a DNCADMS of motorcycle with high performance, some key issues, n amely the architecture of the DNCADMS, the integration of the isolated CAx softw are systems (CAxs), the data communication and exchange between these isolated s ystems and the data share problem under the dispersed heterogeneous database env ironment, should be solved well. For this, the idea we propose is the combinatio n of Web, CORBA, StEP and Java, which provides an effective mechanism to support the integration of isolated CAxs, and support communication and interoperabilit y among CAx systems. Each isolated CAx has been encapsulated respectively by a c ontainer, which is implemented by the ORBs and the IDL of the COBRA technology s tandard, and managed by the application index server. AIM： to evaluate the reproducibility of a modified 13^C breath test-based measurement of solid phase gastric emptying （GE） within the frames of a simple-repeated measure study protocol. MEtHODS： twelve healthy subjects （6 females and 6 males, mean age 24.9＋0.7 years） were recruited to undergo three identical GE examinations. In six subjects the first two examinations were performed 2 d apart, and the third session was carried out at a median interval of 19.5 d （range 18 - 20 d） from the second one. In another six subjects the first two measurements were taken 20 d apart （median, range： 17-23 d）, whereas the third session took place 2 d after the second one. Probes of expiratory air collected before and during six hours after intake of a solid meal （378 kcal） labelled with 75 μL （68 mg） 13^C-octanoic acid, were measured for 13^CO2 enrichment with the nondispersive isotopeselective infrared spectrometry NDIRS apparatus. RESULtS： taking coefficients of variation for paired examinations into account, the short-term reproducibility of the GE measurement was slightly but not significantly better than the medium-term one： 7.7% and 11.2% for the lag phase （t-Lag）, 7.3% and 10.9% for the gastric half emptying time （t1/2）. the least differences in GE parameters detectable at P= 0.05 level in the 12 paired examinations were 9.6 and 15.6 min for t-Lag, 11.6 and 19.7 min for t1/2 by a two-day or two to three-week time gap, respectively CONCLUSION： the low-cost modification of the breath test involving a lower dose of 13^C-octanoic acid and NDIRS, renders good short- and medium-term reproducibility, as well as sensitivity of the measurement of gastric emptying of solids.

In this paper, delay-dependent robust stabilization and H∞ control for uncertain stochastic takagi-Sugeno （t-S） fuzzy systems with discrete interval and distributed time-varying delays are discussed. the purpose of the robust stochastic stabilization problem is to design a memoryless state feedback controller such that the closed-loop system is mean-square asymptotically stable for all admissible uncertainties. In the robust H∞ control problem, in addition to the mean-square asymptotic stability requirement, a prescribed H∞ performance is required to be achieved. Sufficient conditions for the solvability of these problems are proposed in terms of a set of linear matrix inequalities （LMIs） and solving these LMIs, a desired controller can be obtained. Finally, two numerical examples are given to illustrate the effectiveness and less conservativeness of our results over the existing ones.

Coriaria,the only genus under family Coriariacea,receives a lot interest among botanist due to its controversial taxonomic treatment and unique phytochemistry that could be commercially *** populations of Coriaria japonica *** in Cordillera Central Range(CCR),Philippines had never been studied in *** the need for more information on this controversial genus,the study deemed it necessary to present the distribution and morpho-anatomical description of *** *** in CCR.A total of 123 populations were documented,found at an elevation range of 1334 to 2494 m asl and stretched between16°31’37.7"to 17°5’47.8"N and 120°39’40.3"to120°55’48"*** these populations showed a narrow linear pattern of distribution concentrated at the southern portion of *** plant is a shrub with simple leaves,collateral buds,raceme inflorescence,bisexual flowers with persistent perianth forming an accessory fruit after *** terms of anatomy,much are of the usual dicot characters such as dorsiventral leaf with stomata concentrated in the lower epidermis,eustele with pith in the stem andpresence of secondary growth both on old stem and old *** findings of the study include the123 populations,the larger leaf measurements,longer petals and larger fruits than the original description given by ***,the paracytic type of stomata and presence of pith in the primary roots of *** *** are interesting since these are common monocot characters while the plant is *** findings are additional information that could help clear the controversies on the genus *** importantly,our results could provide essential information for understanding the plant and for developing conservation strategies not just for this plant but also for the other related plants in the CCR biogeographical zone.

eAbstract We extend the t violating model of the paper on ＂Hidden symmetry of the CKM and neutrinomapping matrices＂ by assuming its t-violating phases X↑ and X↓ to be large and the same, with X = X↑ = X↓. In this case, the model has 9 real parameters： at, α↑,β↑,ξ↑,η↑t for the t-quark sector, α↓,β↓,ξ↓,η↓, for the sector and a common X- We examine whether these nine parameters are compatible with ten observables： the six quark masses and the four real parameters that characterize the CKM matrix （i.e., the Jarlskog invariant and three Eulerian angles）. We find that this is possible only if the t violating phase X is large, between -120^o to -135^o. In this strong t violating model, the smallness of theJarlskog invariant 3 × 10^-5 ismainly accounted for by the large heavy quark masses, with mc/mt〈ms/mb≈0.02, as well as the near completeoverlap of t and b quark, with （c｜b）=-0.04.

In this work we perform a theoretical calculation in order to reconstitute the （E-t） phase diagram of a chiral smectic liquid crystal in the vicinity of the SmA-SmCα＊ transition. this reconstruction is carried out on the basis of a thermo-dynamic calculation of the slope of the curve joining the SmC＊ domain and the unwound SmC＊. An empiric correction of the mean field term of Landau De-Gennes development is necessary to accomplish this reconstruction. thereafter, an experimental validation is performed to verify our calculations.
