A hierarchically 3D structured milled lamellar MoS2/nano-siIicon@carbon hybrid with medium capacity and long-term lifespan is designed by a green and scalable approach using ball milling process and spraydrying/ pyrolysis routes. The microspheres consist of low-content nano-silicon (20 wt%), milled lamellar M0S2 sheets and porous carbon skeletons. A mixture of silicon nanoparticles and M0S2 flakes serves as an inner core, while porous carbon pyrolyzed from petroleum pitch acts as a protective shell. The particular architecture affords robust mechanical support, abundant buffering space and enhanced electrical conductivity, thus effectively accommodating drastic volume variation during repetitive Li+ intercalation/ extraction. The Si/MoS2@C hybrid delivers a high initial discharge specific capacity of 1257.8 mA hg^-1 and exhibits a reversible capacity of 767.52 m A hg^-1 at a current density 100 mA g'1 after 250 cycles. Most impressively, the electrode depicts a superior long-cycling durability with a discharge capacity of 537.6 mA hg^-1 even after 1200 cycles at a current density of 500 m A g^-1. Meanwhile, the hybrid also shows excellent rate performance such as 388.1 mA h g^-1 even at a large current density of 3000 mA g^-1.

An Efficient Long Short-Term Memory and Gated Recurrent Unit Based Smart Vessel Trajectory Prediction Using Automatic Identification System Data

Maritime transportation,a cornerstone of global trade,faces increasing safety challenges due to growing sea traffic *** study proposes a novel approach to vessel trajectory prediction utilizing Automatic Identification System(AIS)data and advanced deep learning models,including Long Short-Term Memory(LSTM),Gated Recurrent Unit(GRU),Bidirectional LSTM(DBLSTM),Simple Recurrent Neural Network(SimpleRNN),and Kalman *** research implemented rigorous AIS data preprocessing,encompassing record deduplication,noise elimination,stationary simplification,and removal of insignificant *** were trained using key navigational parameters:latitude,longitude,speed,and *** aware processing through trajectory segmentation and topological data analysis(TDA)was employed to capture dynamic *** using a three-month AIS dataset demonstrated significant improvements in prediction *** GRU model exhibited superior performance,achieving training losses of 0.0020(Mean Squared Error,MSE)and 0.0334(Mean Absolute Error,MAE),with validation losses of 0.0708(MSE)and 0.1720(MAE).The LSTM model showed comparable efficacy,with training losses of 0.0011(MSE)and 0.0258(MAE),and validation losses of 0.2290(MSE)and 0.2652(MAE).Both models demonstrated reductions in training and validation losses,measured by MAE,MSE,Average Displacement Error(ADE),and Final Displacement Error(FDE).This research underscores the potential of advanced deep learning models in enhancing maritime safety through more accurate trajectory predictions,contributing significantly to the development of robust,intelligent navigation systems for the maritime industry.

The Analysis of Effects of Semantic Comprehension upon the Anxiety Indices in People with Autism Spectrum Disorder

Hypersensitivity to stimuli is one of main way of anxiety symptoms in people with Autism Spectrum Disorders(ASD)owing,within other factors,to deficit cognitive attribution performed on stimulating *** research studies precisely the possible existence of relationships between the comprehensive elements of the information input and the anxiety increase in people with ASD.A total of 30 students with ASD have participated in the study,aged between 6 and 14 age years,divided into two groups,an experimental group(EG)consisting of 20 students and a control group(CG)formed by 10 other *** aims are to study the relationships between perception and information understanding,as well the consequent anxiety reactions in people with ASD and,finally,analyze the improvement of these data from application of a naturalistic systemic *** found along 3 successive measures along 12 months,performed throughout correlation analysis,ANOVA W test of 1-factor comparative measures and post-hoc analysis to age variable,allows to conclude the students who belong to EG significantly improved in aspects related to conceptual coding and in self-management of their own learning and,accordingly,they reduce anxiety level with regarding to their CG peers.

Background:In the Guadeloupe and Saint Martin islands,Aedes aegypti mosquitoes are the only recognized vectors of dengue,chikungunya,and Zika *** around 40 years,malathion was used as a mosquito adulticide and temephos as a *** the European Union banned the use of these two insecticide molecules in the first decade of the 21st century,deltamethrin and Bacillus thuringiensis *** are the remaining adulticide and larvicide,respectively,used in *** order to improve the management of vector control activities in Guadeloupe and Saint Martin,we investigated *** resistance to and mechanisms associated with deltamethrin,malathion,and ***:*** mosquitoes were collected from six different localities of Guadeloupe and Saint *** were used for malathion and temephos bioassays,and adult mosquitoes for deltamethrin bioassays,following World Health Organization *** resistance(Kdr)genotyping for V1016I and F1534C mutations,and expression levels of eight enzymes involved in detoxification mechanisms were examined in comparison with the susceptible reference Bora Bora ***:Resistance ratios(RR50)calculated for *** larvae showed high resistance levels to temephos(from 8.9 to 33.1-fold)and low resistance levels to malathion(from 1.7 to 4.4-fold).Adult females displayed moderate resistance levels to deltamethrin regarding the time necessary to affect 50%of individuals,varying from 8.0 to *** investigations on adult mosquitoes showed high resistant allele frequencies for V1016I and F1534C(from 85 to 96%and from 90 to 98%,respectively),as well as an overexpression of the glutathione S-transferase gene,GSTe2,the carboxylesterase CCEae3a,and the cytochrome genes 014614,CYP6BB2,CYP6M11,and ***:*** populations from Guadeloupe and Saint Martin exhibit multiple resistance to organophosphates(temephos and malathion),and pyrethroids(deltamethrin

Numerical Study of Spray Dispersion in a Premixing Chamber for Low-NOx Engines

The present work describes a numerical study of a confined two-phase flow under high-pressure conditions, typical of gas turbine combustors. An Eulerian frame was used for the gas phase together with a Lagrangian approach to describe the dispersed phase. The computational method was extended to high-pressure environments, which are more representative of the practical gas turbine operating conditions. The results are compared with experimental data, and revealed the ability of the model to increase the knowledge of the turbulent dispersion phenomena for this type of practical conditions (high pressure and confined flow).

Factors associated with H pylori epidemiology in symptomatic children in Buenos Aires,Argentina

AIM： To determine prevalence of H pylori infection in symptomatic children in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and to investigate factors associated with HpyloH positivity. METHODS： A total of 395 children with upper gastrointestinal symptoms referred to the Gastroenterology Unit of the Children Hospital ＂Sor Maria Ludovica＂ were evaluated for the presence of H py/or/by the ^13C-Urea Breath Test （^13C-UBT）. A questionnaire was applied to the recruited population. RESULTS： Prevalence of H pylo H infection was 40.0% in this population （mean age 9.97 ± 3.1 years）. The factors associated with H py/or/positivity were number of siblings （P 〈 0.001）, presence of pet cats （P = 0.03） and birds （P = 0.04） in the household, and antecedents of gastritis among family members （P = 0.01）. After multivariate analysis, number of siblings [Odds ratio （OR） = 1.39; 95% CI, 1.20-1.61] and contact with pet cats （OR = 1.76; 95% CI, 1.00-3.09） remained as variables associated with H pylori infection. CONCLUSION： The prevalence of H pylori infection in children with upper gastrointestinal symptoms in Argentina was similar to that reported in developed countries. Children from families with a higher crowding index and presence of pet cats have a higher risk of being colonized with Hpylori.

In this paper, the PMMA films doped with N,N'-diphenyl-N,N'-di(m-tolyl)-benzidine and rubrene were fabricated by spin coating, and the effect of photooxidation on the photoluminescence of the doped PMMA thin films was investigated. The results showed that under the irradiation of 350nm UV light, N,N'-diphenyl-N,N'-di(m-tolyl)-benzidine can sensitized rubrene and results in the enhancement in the photooxidation of rubrene. The effect of photooxidation on the photoluminescence from rubrene was more obvious. Both lifetime measurement and in situ measurement of photoluminescence showed that rubrene molecules exist in two chemical surroundings.

目的通过临床组织形态学检测来评估运用100%Bio-Oss充填材料进行上颌窦外提升的实际成骨率。方法对12例上颌窦区的剩余垂直牙槽骨量不足(平均<3mm)的患者(平均56岁)进行上颌窦外提升术。术后6.5个月用Trephine牙钻分别从这12个术区钻取骨质标本,且同期将12颗Bego种植钉植入取骨区。钻取标本参照Donath&Breuner(1982)的标准方法进行切片及染色处理。结果组织形态学分析测定表明样本的新骨生成量为4.33%～24.05%,平均12.56%±5.03%;Bio-Oss颗粒平均存余量为26.78%±6.19%;Bio-Oss颗粒表面平均有57.03%±8.07%的区域与新生骨组织有直接接触。二期手术时植入的12颗Bego种植钉负重1年后的存活率为100%。结论 Bio-Oss是一种理想的、成骨性能较稳定的骨替代材料,适合我国人群的使用。
