Quantum error correction is an essential ingredient for universal quantum computing.D espite tremendous experimental efforts in the study of quantum error correction,to date,there has been no demonstration in the realis ation of universal quantum error-correcting code,with the subsequent verification of all key features including the identification of an arbitrary physical error,the capability for transversal manipulation of the logical state and state *** address this challenge,we experimentally realise the [5,1,3]code,the so-called smallest perfect code that permits corrections of generic single-qubit *** the experiment,having optimised the encoding circuit,we employ an array of superconducting qubits to realise the [5,1,3] code for several typical logical states including the magic state,an indispensable resource for realising non-Clifford *** encoded states are prepared with an average fidelity of 57.1(3)% while with a high fidelity of 98.6(1)% in the code ***,the arbitrary single-qubit errors introduced manually are identified by measuring the *** further implement logical Pauli operations with a fidelity of 97.2(2)% within the code ***,we realise the decoding circuit and recover the input state with an overall fidelity of 74.5(6)%,in total with 92 *** work demonstrates each key aspect of the [5,1,3] code and verifies the viability of experimental realisation of quantum error-correcting codes with superconducting qubits.

Mineralogical Characterization of Heavy Mineral Concentrates from Senegalese Great Cost by Using Qemscan and SEM

The heavy mineral sands of Senegal are exploited to extract titanium oxides and zircon. Mining is carried out first by means of a floating dredge and concentration plant which produces a heavy mineral concentrate (HMC) containing on average 78% titanium oxides, 11% zircon and a set of silicate and alumino-silicate minerals. This heavy mineral concentrate is then treated by gravity, magnetic and electrostatic separation to produce titanium oxide concentrates (ilmenite, leucoxene, rutile) and three varieties of zircon concentrates (Premium zircon, standard zircon and medium grade zircon standard). In this study, we describe the various mineral concentrates in terms of mineralogical assemblages, and textural variability within grains, using Qemscan and Scanning Electron Microscopy. The titanium oxide concentrates are differentiated by their TiOb>2b> content and vary from ilmenite to rutile. The zircon concentrates are characterized by the presence of impurities in the zircons, which consist in numerous inclusions of titanium oxides and silicate minerals. The mineralogical characteristics determined by scanning electron microscopy and by Qemscan showed great variability within the grains themselves. Heavy minerals contain many mineral inclusions and show strong chemical zoning.

The basic Helix-Loop-Helix Transcription Factor MYC1 Is Involved in the Regulation of the Flavonoid biosynthesis Pathway in Grapevine

Previous results indicated that in grapevine （Vitis vinifera）, regulation of the flavonoid pathway genes by MYb transcription factors depends on their interaction with basic helix-loop-helix proteins （bHLHs）. The present study describes the first functional characterization of a bHLH factor from grapevine named VvMYC1. This transcription factor is phylogenetically related to Arabidopsis bHLH proteins, which participate in the control of flavonoid biosynthesis and epidermal cell fate. Transient promoter and yeast two-hybrid assays demonstrated that VvMYC1 physically interacts with MYb5a, MYb5b, MYbA1/A2, and MYbPA1 to induce promoters of flavonoid pathway genes involved in anthocyanin and/ or proanthocyanidin （PA） synthesis. Additionally, transient promoter assays revealed that VvMYC1 is involved in feedback regulation of its own expression. Transcript levels of VvMYC1 during berry development correlate with the synthesis of anthocyanins and PAs in skins and seeds of berries, suggesting that VvMYC1 is involved in the regulation of anthocyanins and PA synthesis in these organs. Likewise, transient expression of VvMYC1 and VvMYbA1 induces anthocyanin synthesis in grapevine suspension cells. These results suggest that VvMYCl is part of the transcriptional cascade controlling antho- cyanin and PA biosynthesis in grapevine.

Isolation of Red Rose Anthocyanin Pigment and Its Application to Inhibit Lipid Oxidation in Yoghurt

Anthocyanin is a water soluble natural pigmen, which could be extracted from Red Rose. Color is an important factor to determine the quality of foods, so that the pigments isolation must be selected type of solvent for extraction process. besides functioning as dyes, anthocyanins have a role as a good antioxidant, so it can be used to protect the fat content of fermented milk such as yoghurt. This experiment was to find out the effect of different solvent type on extraction pigment (aquadest: sitrat acid/lactic acid/sulfate acid/chloride acid) and to determine the effect of the addition of anthocyanins in protecting the fat content of yogurt on several levels addition. The research result showed that anthocyanin’s pigment of red rose from petal flower’s could be effective solvent extracted using lactic acid 0.02 M and increased fat stability of yoghurt. The anthocyanin pigment showed with HPLC analysis that pigment resulted TLC analysis at rite time 13.10 (as Cyanidin glucoside) and 22.61 (as Malvidin glucoside). Yoghurt that given anthocyanin pigment has proven that fat content can be maintained its 86.7% (fat content with 2% pigment as such as 0.117% and without pigment 0.087%) after being stored for 6 days at cold and room temperature.

将１５０μｇ１硝基芘（１ＮＰ）气管内或血管内给药后，对大鼠离体肺进行灌流，定时自灌流液中取样，以ＨＰＬＣ和ＧＣＭＳ测定并鉴定灌流液中未变的１ＮＰ及代谢物。经鉴定代谢物为单羟基硝基芘和二羟基硝基芘。两种途径给药后，１ＮＰ在灌流液中的浓度—时间数据符合一室药代动力学模型。预先以β萘黄酮，苯并蒽或苯巴比妥和β萘黄酮的混合物处理后的大鼠，肺灌流结果表明，显著降低１ＮＰ的平均保留时间（ＭＲＴ），促进１ＮＰ的生物转化和气管给药后的吸收。以苯巴比妥预处理后的大鼠肺则对１ＮＰ的药代动力学参数无显著影响。

Analyses on the climate change responses over China under SRES b2 scenario using PRECIS

The PRECIS,a regional climate model system developed at the UK Met Office Hadley Cen- tre for Climate Prediction and Research,which is nested in one-way mode within the HadAM3P,a higher-resolution version of the atmospheric com- ponent of the Hadley Centre climate model HadCM3,is employed to simulate the baseline (1961—1990) climate for evaluation of model’s capacity of simu- lating present climate and analyze the future climate change responses in the time-slice of 2071—2100 (2080s) under SRES b2 scenario over China relative to baseline average. It is indicated from the com- parison of the simulated baseline climate with in situ observation that PRECIS can simulate the local dis- tribution characteristics of surface air temperature over China quite well; generally speaking,the simu- lation for precipitation in the north of China and in winter is better than in the south of China and in summer,respectively; the simulation of precipitation in summer is sensitive to topography,and the simu- lated precipitation values are lower than observations over southeast coastal areas. It is shown from the analyses on the simulated climate change responses in 2080s under SRES b2 scenario relative to base- line that there would be an obvious surface air tem- perature increase in the north of China relative to that in the south of China,and especially in Northwest China and Northeast China,the amplitude ofsummer mean surface air temperature increments could reach 5℃; there would be an overall increase of the simulated precipitation in 2080s under SRES b2 scenario over most areas of China,while there would be significant precipitation decreases in South China in winter; there would be obvious precipitation decreases in Northeast China and North China in summer with high surface air temperature increase. However,it presents an obvious precipitation in- crease over the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River in summer.

The effort and cost required to convert satellite Earth Observation(EO)data into meaningful geophysical variables has prevented the systematic analysis of all available *** overcome these problems,we utilise an integrated High Performance Computing and Data environment to rapidly process,restructure and analyse the Australian Landsat data *** this approach,the EO data are assigned to a common grid framework that spans the full geospatial and temporal extent of the observations–the EO Data *** approach is pixel-based and incorporates geometric and spectral calibration and quality assurance of each Earth surface reflectance *** demonstrate the utility of the approach with rapid time-series mapping of surface water across the entire Australian continent using 27 years of continuous,25 m resolution *** preliminary analysis of the Landsat archive shows how the EO Data Cube can effectively liberate high-resolution EO data from their complex sensor-specific data structures and revolutionise our ability to measure environmental change.

Systemic lupus erythematosus(SLE)is a systemic autoimmune disease characterized by extraordinary heterogeneity,due to the complex pathogenesis and diverse *** of patients for therapy and prognosis represents a major challenge to manage *** biomarkers for disease diagnosis and activity assessment provide very limited insight into immunological pathogenesis and therapeutic response *** advancement of“omics”technologies including genomics,transcriptomics,proteomics,and metabolomics has constituted an unprecedented opportunity to characterize the immunopathological landscape in individual patients with ***,genomic studies reveal a subset of SLE patients carrying one or more functional single nucleotide polymorphisms(SNPs)underlying immune dysregulation while transcriptomic studies have revealed subgroups in SLE patients showing distinct signatures for Type I interferon(TI-IFN)pathway activation or aberrant differentiation of b cells into plasma *** review will summarize results from the latest studies using omics technology to understand SLE *** addition,we propose that the application of artificial intelligence,such as by machine learning-based nonlinear dimensionality reduction method uniform manifold approximation and projection(UMAP)can further strengthen the analysis of omics big *** combination of new technology and novel analysis pipeline can lead to breakthroughs in stratifying SLE patients for a better monitoring of disease activity and more precise design of treatment regime,not only for conventional immunosuppression but also novel immunotherapies targeting b-cell activating factor(bAFF),TI-IFN,and interleukin 2(IL-2).
